Logs
Found it! Thought we were wrong cause of how tricky it was to reach, then realised we were looking at it wrong. Great cache. Needs a new log
Tyftc - nice and handy find near Greenhills while waiting to pick up my daughter.
Thought I had found it but was empty didn't seem right, kept looking. Almost gave up but a good look in the right direction noticed something out of place. Helped I was in high vis for the muggles around, appearing like I was just doing maintenance. Awesome hide TYFTC!
Well that was sneaky. Until I said what is that doing. Nothing. Its not empty. It had fallen apart. Put back together but new log is needed. Giving a favourite.
OCW Geospark62 This took a bit of searching but spotted something out of place. Managed to remove signed log and replaced as found. New log required. TFTC
Took a while to findQuick Look on arrival and discounted the hiding spotFrustration made me have a closer look Success TFTC
Just picking up a few caches around town today with ilook4go while waiting for an appointment time. This was not an easy find and we spent some time looking around, checking logs and eventually putting it all together to get the cache in hand. FP added for the challenge here. Thanks for adding to the cache game go to kingfisher_au.
Back in East Maitland with goingplaces2 for a short visit and had this on the "to do" list. You just have to love a tricky, sneaky hide - and this is one of them. All is good with the container and log. TFTC.
Find # 10023Nice quick find.FP awarded for the sneaky hide. We added some more logsheet. TFTC kingfisher_au 24 December 2023 12:10
The first challenge her was finding a parking spot. Then at GZ, we found something lying on the ground that had to be relevant. After a bit of head scratching about where it might live, we found the little inner container. Signed and reassembled. Thanks kingfisher_au.
This was tricky and then so obvious once you realise what it is. New log required. Found with my4monkeys and gabby2402
Had to come here for the FPs and give it a go. Wasn't to hard, very creative. FP earned. Needs new log didn't have grobag or I would have put some paper in, messaged CO TNLN TFTC
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 12477.
Evil! Up, down looking all over. I actually spotted this one early and discounted it. Finally got there.
Thanks kingfisher_au for the cache.

I feel healthier for getting out caching, which matters a lot to me. I had to scan the area before I got an image of where it might be. Tricky hide. Glad to find this. The fact that it was raining a lot meant I could get a park nearby, and there were no muggles to watch me. TFTC kingfisher_au
A fun little find that was right where I first laid my eyes, thank you!
Was nearly giving up on this one then found it. Very sneaky hide. Don't go looking for this one expecting it to jump straight out at you.
No where close by to park so we quickly drove straight up to gz. Retrieved, signed & back on our way
Came back after one failed attempt with some new knowledge and experience to a successful find
Very clever hide. It’s what I first thought but dismissed. Then circled back. Thanks kingfisher_au.

Continuing our quest, this was actually not on th run sheet, as we were supposed to get Safe Passage. But that was a dismal failure. So once we goit back to the car, it was a mad search, looking for either the same D/T or a different one that was not already on the list. This fit the bill, and was a quicjk found, once at gz. Just an odd thing. My 1700th cache. Yay! TFTC.
Great setup. My geosenses must be good today as I found it pretty quick. TFTH

I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.
Day 4 was the travel home day. We did start with Maitland caches and then head south to Sugarloaf mountain for some old and hard caches. Last on the list was another old Sydney cache..
Thanks for the cache kingfisher_au

Nicely done. We made it a little harder than needed but a team effort in the end!

TFTC kingfisher, parking is a problem here, walked dog for camouflage. Second time lucky.
I was SO keen to see what might make for 39 fave points here, and searched and searched, but could not find a cache, either devilish or mundane. Wow, what tricky / evil thing have you planted here? I searched up and down for ages but was clearly outsmarted here. Another time, kingfisher_au, another time.
This was my only DNF in a day of caching, so I can't complain. Thanks for the Hunt!

Based on a previous comment and a potential hiding spot I believe I found the location, however, I’m not sure if it’s possible to retrieve at the moment.
Headed to the Maitland area with fitzy_1965 & SpecimenX for an extra long weekend of caching.
Time to pack up and head home but not before picking up more of the local caches with nibletricecakes and Joolay. A very cool, sneaky hide!
All caches where found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Logs were either signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers or CC.

19,151. Found as part of the Capital Crunchers Team (fitzy_1965, minniek, specimenX, nibletricecakes and Joolay) during the Canberra Invasion of Maitland region over the long weekend.
Day 4 of our invasion. Time to pack up camp, grab some breakfast, then try for as many local caches as we could get before heading off to brave the holiday traffic back towards Sydney/Goulburn. Next of the day. A nice quick find at GZ.
Thanks kingfisher_au !!

Found with fitzy_1965, minniek, Nibletricecakes, Joolay as part of the Canberra Invasion of Maitland and surrounds over an extra long weekend
Last day of the invasion and we were focusing on nabbing a bag of local caches before heading home. We knew we were searching for a tricky hide so after checking out a few spots we saw something promising. Took a bit of maneuvering but we had this clever cache in hand for the stamping! Stamped as Capital Crunchers to save log space.
Thanks for the hide, kingfisher_au A fave point for sure.
