Wandered over and found a great spot to sit and sign the ligand watch the incoming tide. As others have said, the container has seen better days, I suppose mint tins don't like being near saltwater. Still closes ok for now and log is dry.

A cleverly hidden cache although the whole container has almost rusted away. Some dampness inside - maybe container needs replacing. Thanks vennfamily.
Found myself in the area today with a few moments to spare - so took a walk along Bill Benham Park, enjoying the sunshine, outside air, the smells of the river and one crazy dog running around its owner madly (such joy).
Took a seat on a convenient spot to contemplate the river. Quiet today just here.
NB: Cache container lid has de-attached, it is just sitting on loosely at present.
Thanks vennfamily for entertaining me at this location.

I am in Brissy for a few days to do some caching.
Today was the group event kayaking trip to the Oxbow cache. [^]
Of course I had to stop for a few quick finds on the way.
A quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Beardman75 I found your cache Mangrove Views - Bill Benham Park Series on 3/9/18, 4:49 pm. This is my find 2070 and find # 12 today. No problems locating this one. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Continued along the track to this one. Soon found and log signed. The lid has disappeared of the cache but all was ok inside. Thanks Beardman75
Found with Trickyt after quite a paddle near by. As we were in the area thought we should grab these few along the walkway. Such a nice area so close to all the heavy industrial buildings.
Soon found and all is good with the cache.
You are right, the views along here are magic.

What a great spot, we have lived around this area for years and never new this park existed Thanks
Nice stroll GPS showed in the water it must be off. Well and truly on the land haha
rusty my geo dog and I loved this walkies. thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Continuation on for my quest.
Another day, another stroll in this amazing park. I was really late getting out of work on this time which means darkness was settling in really quickly. The torch in the car didn't have batteries (I mean why would it?) which means I was totally reliant on my phone torch which is not the greatest.
Walking along the path watching the phone whilst trying to adjust to the darkness slightly. Stopped in close proximity to where the phone was indicating before realising I was in real trouble given the size and the hint saying under a rock.
That was until I looked up and saw one giant rock sitting there, all by its lonesome self. A quick once over of the rock, and the cache was in hand. Log was signed and replaced and I was back to the safety of the car before heading home for the weekend.
Thanks for the series once again vennfamily - it's very much appreciated.

Another simple cache in this series, although beware of the worker muggles in the worksite directly behind.
Felt the need for a gentle walk and headed out for a few local(ish) caches.
Spot on the coords and perfect place to look out at the river Cache exposed but logged and replaced in nook and under its camo. Had to tear myself away from the view.

#2 It is a very pleasant walk to GZ. I had been joined by Dvette who was celebrating day 1 of the school holidays. I was still reading the description when Dvette spied something of interest.
Log is a little damp but certainly survived the recent rains.
Thanks, vennfamily!

Together with RoddyC on my second last geocaching day with them. found this cache together.
An Event popped up on the Calendar for today - out near the Airport, so we said why not? Picked up Nadine1989 on the way and off we set. After the event we found eight more caches. This was the last of the four we visited in this Park: it didn't tale long to spot the hiding hole
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.50pm on 16th December 2016. TFTC

I was continuing my stroll along this new park area. The council have done a lot of work to make it an enjoyable place to visit. I was also checking out the nearby industries on the other side. There must be some huge refrigerators in those buildings.
I checked out a few spots before I read the hint and then headed straight to the spot.
The umbrella came in handy to shield the log from the light rain which had been falling the whole time that I had been walking the path.

Having reached the eastern end of the park I turned back and headed west. There were a few people out here walking, but they were all focused on where they were going.
The hint for this one made it nice and easy.

Out on a solo run before catching up with teamdfl later. Back again, as the CO has replaced the cache. The co-ords were pretty well spot on, but the hint had me scratching my head Perhaps the CO might like to update that TFTC, vennfamily.
KerriMG and I found ourselves out this side of town today. Had no idea this nice little park existed behind the industrial area. There were a few workers having lunch in the shelters but we were out of sight soon enough. We found this cache lying out in the open. Log signed and replaced as the updated coords note suggested.
Thanks vennfamily

Nikid1 & I were on our regular caching Thursday & headed over to Wynnum for the day.
When we arrived there were quite a few workers having lunch in the shelters so we headed for this cache first. This was a very quick find as the cache was sitting out in the open but all was ok with it. Log signed & replaced where I think it should have been.
As we approached this one there was a loud splash in the water just near the edge, must have been a fish jumping but we missed it, watched for a little while but no more aerial acrobatics were performed.

First to sign the replacement log/cache. Easily found today but I have had several visits before. Replaced as found. TFTC
Out with ankakeca for a few hours, and seeing as we both come from the western half of our fair city, this cache was our meeting point. Loads of parking meant we could take a walk to grab the 4 caches here.
Our only DNF for the day GPS played havoc and wanted us in the water, but after checking the cache page we knew where to search. However, after a lot of looking everywhere, followed by an unanswered PAF, we gave up.

IolantheK (easily) convinced me to leave housework and go out for a few hours of caching instead.
We searched for quite some time to no avail and had to leave empty-handed. Maybe next time...

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 26.842 E 153° 07.094
Distance from original: 32.5 feet or 9.9 meters.
After the recent DNF, I decided to swing by and check on this as I was passing. It is indeed gone. I have replaced it with an eclipse tin as that's all I had with me. Coords changed slightly. It's under a rock.
Happy caching

Surprisingly quiet along this little trail today. However there was a couple of boats passing whilst we walked. Another quick find at the GZ - being careful as we retrieved it along the waters edge. TFTC vennfamily
We next strolled to this one. At GZ, I was careful not to drop the cache as I retrieved it from its spot. We added our names to the log and returned the cache to where it had beeen found and continued on our way. TFTC
Arrived back here this morning for the lucky third time.
This time I had success.
Signed the log and returned to where I found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks vennfamily All good with this cache

We have visited here twice before.
Our first visit resulted in a DNF & after a delayed response from the CO, who was away in Melbourne at the time (how inconvenient! LOL ...) we returned a second time to confirm that the cache had indeed been muggled & was gone.
Our 'Watch' list advised us that the cache was again active so it was a quick trip over to collect our smilie.
We did have to exercise caution & stealth as there was a muggle doing 'laps' along the path on his motorised bicycle.
What better way to spoil the ambience than high pitched motor noise & petrol fumes?
On a lighter note we did, on the way out, notice a pair of Lapwings (Plovers to the uneducated) taking great care of four newly hatched offspring.
We sat & watched them for a little while, then left them in peace.
We hope they all make it to adulthood.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Hi VennFamily. A hunter text us about the whereabouts of this one a few days after our find but couldn't find it even with our hint.. We noticed yesterday that it had two more DNFs so we decided to swing by today and check - our hunt was hindered at first by a creepy looking guy wandering in circles :/
Not sure if he was a drunk sailor or homeless person - maybe both.. Got lesson in stranger danger for the kids none the less. Anyway, after he moved on we looked where we left it and it is definitely gone! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Venns

Well, today definitely isn't going as planned.
So far two caches missing & after quite some time this one goes into the history books as a DNF.
Searched high, searched low, reached, stretched, scratched & scrambled all to no avail.
Hopefully it's just cache blindness on our part & not another one gone missing (like the last two today).

Geo-girls turn to find this one. I was up a different tree wondering how deep the water below me was because a fall seemed inevitable if I went any higher, when she called out 'found it' from a much safer positioned tree! TFTC
Tried a different tact this time and came up the goods. Thanks for the series
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:35am. It was a short walk on to this cache and it was found after a few minutes search. TFTC
Hmm so this is not the sort of cache that you really want your phone to play up and send you all over the place. Thankfully I used some forethought on this and instead of following the phone just checked out a couple of spots that seemed right and next thing you know there was a cache in my hand. Quite happy to be signing the log and soon enough heading on to the last cache.

TFTC - Geoson was freaking out that I was going to fall in, but all good
Climbed into the tree to have a good look at the mangroves and in the tree itself but no luck today. Conscious of the fragility of mangroves and not wanting to leave a mark. Will try again once more clues are revealed
Back for another round. This was first and yes, a bit tricky. I was mm away during my first look, then went all over the place then came back and let my fingers do some walking. Shazam! Very nicely placed. All good here so TFTC.
Technical one pointed 3 metres into the creek. That would be some reach and a wet log for sure.
A quick land based hunt retrieved the much sought after shiny new container... **TFTC**

Was at a CITO event not far away when CrookedPete and Seffnjarah said they were going to look for a couple of caches that had proven to be difficult to find. Sounded like fun so I tagged along. Turned out that tagging along was all I did. Kudos to Seffnjarah for finding this right where it should have been. I managed to look everywhere that it wasn't, got lovely muddy feet and it turns out the coords were spot on. Nice to get to share a joint {FTF}
Thank you vennfamily for placing this cache

I guess it just depends on which three sets of eyes are looking . After attending a nearby CITO event Crookedpete, The Green Geckos and I headed over to have a sticky beak. After a good hard look with our three sets of eyes, and despite Crookedpete standing in exactly the right spot to see and retrieve the cache without success, I managed to spot it from a different angle and bring to end the run of DNFs with our **FTF**. Coordinates were spot in for us here. TFTC
***FTF*** with The Green Gecko's and SeffnJarah at 14.04 hours.
When this one was published, I decided not to make a mad run for the FTF. I kept my eye on this cache though when it remained unfound. I suspected that the unfound logs were probably discouraging cachers from searching thoroughly, or giving up more easily than they should. This probably turned out to be the case.
So after attending a CITO event on nearby Bulimba Creek this afternoon, I wandered down with SeffnJarah and The Green Gecko's to see the view of the mangroves.
The midgies were really bad, so I was very glad when SeffnJarah called out "Got it" after 5 minutes of so. Three sets of eyes here this afternoon, and no problem whatsoever! Always nice to get an FTF that the number hounds have missed in their rush
Lot's of bounce here, but the coordinates were pretty good, all things considered. Many thanks Venn's

Searched without success so will return, maybe Muggle son might come with me as I am scared of water - can't swim.
