I took JrGun9 and YoungestGun9 out to find this cache and its multi neighbor.
JrGun9 led the way to the cache but I spotted it easily and tipped off YoungestGun9 to make the find.
Really interesting reading about the second purpose of this park!

I stayed high and dry by walking along near the fence line. Soon had cache in hand. Thanks for the cache.

My son had to be careful and prepared to get wet.

Not the easiest climb with a princess and 2 tiny dogs but it was amusing!!

Bit of a climb but found really easy

Have checked. Cache is there but hidden under flattened long grass.

Looked around and behind agapanthus at the hint but nowhere to be found

I take it the CO does not like agapanthas as there is some serious damage getting done here.

It was challenging to find but it is behind an agapanthus

Had a dentist appointment in town this morn so was a good time to come on the hunt for this one before I had to go back to school! Quick find. TFTV

I arrived at GZ, and checked the obvious clue item and no cache anywhere near. Not sure how near the clue item it's supposed to be, but did a general search of the area and still nothing. In the end I had to settle for yet another DNF.

Was in the agapanthus but got there. Left an Aotearoa pin. TFTC

i am up in new plymouth for a few days visiting mum in law and decided i needed to locate a few more of the newer caches here in new Plymouth. This is certainly high and dry and has a great view of the field below. it was quickly located signed and returned to its place and as there was no one anywhere around all was safe.
thank you for this cache another smiley face and another caches for the mystical creatures souvenirs.

Quick find on Christmas Day. Husband sent to retrieve due to me having a sprained ankle! TFTC. Merry christmas!

Cache has been replaced after plant clearance nearby, same co-ords. Please leave out of sight next to hint item but NOT in agapanthus.

First find for the daughter!

been here once before about 7 months ago on a first date together, didn't manage to find it, just managed to find it today!

Decided it was time to tackle some of the greater new plymouth multis. The nearby multi however meant searching in plain sight of muggles where as there was just one person in this park and she was leaving.
Easily located and logged the cache, must have fluked a window as more dog walkers turned up as I was driving away.

Just around the corner from the Geo Dog's house, so me and the Geo Kids had to take him for a walk this morning, not to sure who was more surprised, the kids finding the cache or me finding my glasses, lost them when I tried to find this one in the dark on Christmas Eve, thank you to whoever hung them on the fence, the reason I only buy $2 reading glasses, I keep losing them, tftc TaraTed

I had not been to this park before and, though I know about the flood detention scheme, I didn't know about this specific site. TFTC.
