Seeing as I had to head up north to pick up a uni textbook, I decided to do some caching as well, specifically targeting some solved puzzles. An enjoyable afternoon was had as a good swag of caches was found, though part of me wishes I had solved these back when I was working in the area. At least this way it made the trip out this way worth it.

On a balmy day such as today my thoughts were to look out for snakes...I should have been more alert to spiders. TFTC.
On my way home from a few days away. I was all by myself and had the opportunity to just take it slow and check out the area. Geocaching takes you to such a huge range of locations.
Thanks to Fair_Dinkum from mogni

Finally found with the help of chaab002, was looking in the right spot all along! TFTC, what a trek.
Found with fellow cacher p4ndiebear! Was great fun. Like others, the hint threw us for a sec. Was able to find it in no time after a look in the right direction from p4andiebear!
Interesting location! Thanks for the cache!

Found #1702. On Valentine's Day.
This morning, I went to Mawson Lakes for business, and realised I still have a blue face there.
I tried this cache about half year ago, with no success. Today I came back for another try, as I was in the area.
Took several minutes to search, and found the cache. I don't know why I missed it last time.
Signed the log, and put it back.
Thanks for the cache, Fair_Dinkum. Now sad face can turn to happy face.

Had a good look around but couldn't find it, oh and there were way too many ants
I had a delivery for work nearby so I took the opportunity to stop and make a quick find. A nice area with the ponds. TFTC
Unfortunately DNF, after a quick search.
Maybe it's still there somewhere, but I didn't time to search around.
Will try again later.

Too good for me today, (Sat. 26 Aug 2017), was this one. It as probably staring me in the face lol. TFT challenge anyways, Fair_Dinkum
After a fill of a nice meal at the event down the road Anymules, Moneydork and Mr frog set off for some night time fun, quick find with the cache being found where we expected TFTC Fair_Dinkum
Arrived at GZ after finding a nearby cache. The hint made perfect sense, so I started searching according to it. However, was unable to spot it. Searched high and low at least 10 meters either side of GZ. No find today
Once again I came out looking for this and once again I didn't find it. I read the comments, easy, walk straight up to it. Well I look in the trees up by the fence and down to the path. Mmm if it a creek cache while does my gps tells I'm to far if I look down by the creek. Ok I might leave this one for awhile. Over it.
Day 2 of mogni in town for one of her many work roles. Staying at Mawson Lakes right close to Bob Land. [^] At long last I would be able to get to some of the BFE puzzles that had regularly been appearing and being solved at Puzzled Puzzler Meetings. And of course any others that happened to appear on the GPS. [8d] During the day/evening I was joined by various combinations of people including Mrs. Aussie M&M, mogni and Anymules.
But now it was getting late and Mrs. M and mogni had left us. I was driving Anymules back to his car when he realized he just need two more multi's before midnight to qualify for the six of one and half a dozen or the other challenge. No prizes for guessing what we did.
A short walk from tree cache we found ourselves up a creek cache and into a new day. My GPS wanted me over the fence playing with the trains but in the end I found it about 7 metres from where the GPS wanted me to be. Thanks Fair Dinkum.

After a long search in the dark, this one was finally spotted. Like locus wrote. Usual cache, usual spot. Not sure why it too that long to find.

Cache for the day required and was travelling past the area for work. Enjoyed one of the other caches by FD so much I thought I just had to try some more. So detoured in and parked nearby and started the trek over to GZ. Had actually tried this one last night but the GPS was still having a hissy fit and I was getting nowhere and running out of time so had to abandon the search. Did a bit of research last night and honed in on where GZ really was and this morning wandered over and started searching. The hint had me searching in the wrong spot initially but reoriented myself and suddenly had the cache in hand. Log extracted and signed. Replaced the log with the binding facing upwards to make it easier for the next finder as I wasted a long time trying to get the log out as the binding was at the bottom and the pages splay out making it difficult to remove. Unfortunately had left the Geotools in the car.
Nice view overlooking the area.

A lovely morning for a bike ride
Here, on the right side of the tracks,
I soon tracked down the cache
A peek under the fence showed that it really was greener this side.
T'other side is every colour of the rainbow and then some [:o]
Yeah !! Graffiti ... idiots peeing on fences like stray dogs

After the nearby event it was time to find a few caches before the next event elsewhere. This was a nice walk and a quick find.
Found whilst cleaning up puzzles with 3lg. Great day was had. Thanks for the placement
Today was tracking down and finding BFE caches that Rod had solved and grabbing others along the way , we managed to grab quite a few of them with the roads being nice and quiet, was a great day out and the weather was nice to us, its good to see some of these ? on my geo map turn into smileys there are certainly some interesting styles of hides found today which really added to the fun of finding them.TFTC

Brisal5 had been hard at work solving a puzzle but hadn't quite got there so on a hunch we decided to go for a walk.
SnapHappy joined us for an early wander
We were accompanied by the MAC search helicopter right overhead and the SES and SAPOL just over the road
Turned out our hunch wasn't quite right so a PAF was made and soon after a find was also made
Brisal5 left early after my first 3 finds and Snap and I continued on getting me 3 more until by day's end I had 6 finds.
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
This cache had me needing to be 6m on to the train line Maybe it was the cloudy skies.
A quick find of the usual hide in the usual spot

Huge sense of deja vu with the location though,
pretty sure i've searched the bushes here once before.

Not where we expected, but a short walk onward and up, and we found it. I wasn't really wearing appropriate footwear for this one so I slid all the way back down ...but it did make me laugh.
What a cool day to enjoy some relaxed caching and two fabulous events (the first one to celebrate Mrs Bee's 40th Birthday [:X], the second to welcome back FelixII [:X]).
From the city to the Barossa and home again it was a full but fabulous day and we only experienced a few light showers as the rain pretty much stayed away despite the dark clouds overhead [^]. I got twigs in my hair, scratches on my arms [B)], had water accidentally poured on me (lol, now that is another story ), and soot all over my hands (geez that stuff was hard to shift and got everywhere! [:(!] )....woo hoo gotta love geocaching with buddies! [^]

Found during a cache hunt on a quite warm (for autumn) wednesday afternoon.
Spent far too long looking in all the wrong places so decided to try a PAF line which led to a quick find.

Found fairly quickly with the new coordinates. Remember the previous cache close by. Thanks Fair_Dinkum for both of your new caches. Enjoyed finding them both.
Lovely location to take in the views of the creek and lakes with the special noises of a loco shunting in the rail yards. Neat cache hide.
Find 2414
Found Reel BFE Style as the listed coordinates I had were 10- metres out and I was looking for the previous hide that did not find today and when found previously it was empty.
Welcome back Fair Dinkum thanks for the cache.
Still Fine Elsewhere

Another new cache, so another quick stop, or so we thought!
Been to this locale before, but that hide is much harder than this one!
Found in the most obvious spot, going by the hint of course! The cache is about 10m from where the GPSr wanted us though.
Have included our take on GZ coords.
A nice area to front a house on to!
TNLNSL
Thanks

Was very excited to meet some fellow caches on a night out. Thanks to my new acquaintances the cache was found. Thank you redRONSO and Ride TheGeoWalrus for your hospitality.
Joint *FTF* @ 8:27pm... with RideTheGeoWalrus and Csaba!
After a fairly quick find of another new cache in the area, we came to try our luck with this one. We were first on site… but it was not long for a mini flashmob to form The hint did not help... and the GPS accuracy on the mobile device was jumping around like any excited little puppy This took much more time than it should have. We were almost ready to submit a DNF for tonight, when there was a call out from red… “hey guys, guess what… it’s here!” We signed the logbook and replaced as found Always great to catch up with some fellow cachers in the field!! TFTC Fair_Dinkum!!

Joint FTF at 20:27 with RedRonso and Csaba! I arrived very late to the party courtesy of some terrible directions from Google Maps... turns out I didn't want to go on the railway service road. And when I finally did arrive, I did so to a GZ ablaze with torch light. Luckily for me the prize had not yet been located. So as a group we started in earnest to find the cache. A micro in scrubland by moonlight is not something that I usually get excited about, and initially this was no different. We searched, then expanded our radius, and expanded it again. We went back to the track, then back up. It was well over half an hour and we were getting ready to post DNF logs when Mr rR shouted out 'found it!'. My GPSr had us a round 10m from GZ, and I am still not really sure how the hint fits in, but our names are in the log book. TFTC Fair Dinkum!
