Excellent camo. Took me long enough to find it. Almost embarrassing! Thanks for the hide.
TFTC. After the Biota Node Cleanup kotukuSI and myslef decided to pickup a couple of nearby caches.
Such a perfect autumn day to be out and about in nature.
KIS was reading the hint as I looked at the fantail that landed within a metre of us both. What do you know it had landed right next to the cache!!!!!
A favourite point for the fantail leading us to the cache.
Thanks monson.clan for placing the cache.

Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, monson.clan.
Out caching with purdiepurdie after the CITO at Woodend Beach.
A lovely autumn day, perfect for caching.
We were just contemplating where the cache might be when a fantail led us to it & hung around as we signed the log!

The 3rd and last day of our Easter raid East and we are out collecting some points for the Planetary Pursuit.
Yay! We have made it to Pluto and are now official Space Explorers but there is always more caches to find so we are still out while we can! It was finally time for the torches here but I had to change the batteries for the headlamps. Mum grabbed the cache while I changed the batteries to a backdrop of a nice pink sunset still going down. Thanks for placing the cache

I wouldn't have minded climbing, but I am that kind of monkey.
Great spot, thanks very much!
Great spot, thanks very much!
Nice easy find on a great day out and the sky stayed up where it belongs today. The log is a bit damp but ok to sign. TFTH
No falling sky when we were here but there was plenty of the wet stuff falling as we drove through the Lewis Pass today. TFTC
It took me about 5 -10 mins to find, my first geocache I've found it was definetly
Fun thank you
Fun thank you
I have dropped off the 'kids' for an event nearby, and had a couple of hours spare to cache, how convenient! Luckily I have not cached much around here, so plenty to keep me occupied It did get dark in the process unfortunately, but I had quite a bit of fun! TFTC!!
Another lonely cache, however, GZ had been seriously tidied up and clipped. The tree home of the cache had been pruned severely and cache luckily found on the ground. Wurzel '47 and I decided to rehome it close by and let CO know the new co-ord placement. It is still hanging and is visible to anyone looking for it meanwhile. TFTC
Out on a Mad Monday Mission with TG this evening. The plan was to head to Amberely to grab the newish caches and tackle the 200wp multi. It was a rather sedate evening km-wise, only 150km, but fun as always. There was an electrical storm brewing and it was really warm. TG had grabbed a few in the area and we went by to grab them for me. Nice tidy up of the area.
Quick find without the leaves.
Thanks for the cache monson.clan.

In Christchurch for a few days, a good day to find some caches in this area. Thanks monson.clan for the cache.
Luckily we parked in front of the gate because the people that live up the drive came by and stopped to ask if we were alright. After my standard reply of being on a treasure hunt (which people accept really well) they then asked if we were looking for three sheep because they had found them. No not us. TFTC #9840
Quick easy find on my way home from work. Great little container. Thanks for the effort that goes in to these creative hides.
I could hardly take the kids out caching only to do the event cache. So we stopped by here. Crood Dad and Crood K were way off the mark and it was up to Crood L to make the easy find. Tftc
After attending the event we went with BBear44 to find the cache. A nice hide on the way home.
Nice quick find with nosynel didn't even get out the car to help and she had it. Always like coming out here. Cheers for the cache on a nice spring day.
A lovely day for a drive to North Canterbury with Karma Reprint and Lorok. A quick grab on the way home, cheers
A quick stop to find chicken licken. Nice. Cheers for the hide.
Found with Kiwi Moose and Lorok on a lovely warm winters day. We'd planned a half day mission up and around Rangiora before attending the event, then work got cancelled, so we made it a full day! Sweet!
Had a great day, and found plenty to keep us busy.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Had a great day full of geocaching with Kiwi Moose and karma reprint. On this sunny day we went around Rangiora for visiting an event and plenty of caches.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides and thanks to Kiwi Moose and karma reprint for taking me on this trip full of fun.

Out and about with tmann421 collecting some more of these local caches.

We proved the sky didn't fall, but we were worried as we had been talking to cChicken Licken!! Thanks.
Recently I have been going straight from work to get my cache of the day if I have been on a day shift. But today a roast dinner was waiting for me at home... so tonight's find was a bit later than usual, but found none the less! TFTC (2894)
I enjoyed the morning's bike ride via the back roads from Kaiapoi to Woodend and return. However, once in Woodend I encountered the only problems of the ride - getting to/from the East side of SH1 - so much traffic! The cache itself was no problem. Thanks Conor and the others of the Monson Clan for your cache.

I had the day off work, and I needed a cache for the day too!!
So came out to find this late in the evening.
Not long after arriving however, we were greeted by the landowner coming out of the drive. Well, the greeting wasn't very pleasant - it was a what are you doing! This is my driveway! Get off! type greeting. We had parked on the street, but were standing about 2m into the drive - hubby talked to her and said we were going to go visit a friend but must've gotten the address wrong, and were double checking.
She was still very upset, but eventually drove off. So then we tried to search quickly - did a TAF to get out of there as quick as possible.
Pretty much, I think this cache should have permission of the owners - and it looks like they know nothing about it. But being just inside their boundary/just on the boundary, I don't think they should have to put up with cachers without knowing about the cache!!!!!

My last dot day filled. Having a caching outing with my Grandson on a gorgeous afternoon. Something of a stretch- and it took me a while to zero in on it- but good fun- thanks Monson.clan
It's been some time since we had last been to Pegasus, so a scenic caching tour was planned for this morning, followed by a quick clean up of the Woodend area. Fortunately last nights southerly blast had been and gone, leaving a gloriously sunny day, though we could definitely feel the nip in the area in shady area. Thanks to all the COs for their cache placements.
We had tried to get through to Gladstone Rd in Woodend from Pegasus but the road is still blocked off - I hope that at some stage that it will be sorted as it seems pretty inconvenient as well as dangerous to have just one access point to this huge subdivision.
GPSr was all over the show when we first got to GZ, but soon worked out where we should be looking and soon the nicely camoed container was located - will no doubt soon be an even easier find with winter approaching. TFTC.

#12279. Troodles spotted the cache, and delegated retrieval to me. Nice spot. TFTC.
Not sure how long it will be before it falls from its perch. It didn't look very secure to us. TFTC
Loved the au naturale camo and the fitting title for the cache. Well done monson.clan
Stopped off after this afternoons Event. Searched high searched low & couldn't find it....just about to flag it when Wee Dude found it on the ground. Hung it back up above my head. Cheers.
A quick find before the nearby CITO today. Cache doesn't seem super secure in it's hiding place, but I returned as found. Thanks for the cache.
Who doesn't remember the Story about Chicken Licken..No sky falling here, and no Chickens either.and the nice Container was quickly spotted. It was a nice change to only travel 896 Meters from Home..TFTH
