Couldn't find these caches on the map and very sad to see all these great creations gone
Solved this one, it was fantastic, never got to get to GZ though. Thanks for all your great contributions to the game!

This cache placement does not comply with the new "Canberra Nature Park Reserve Management Plan 2021". I will attempt to remove containers over the next couple of weeks. Thanks to all the finders over the years.
Another very interesting and engaging Pacmania gadget cache - I brought both the GeoKids along to play with this one and we had great fun working out how to get the coords out. In the end a steady cadence and patience (as well as someone to record the numbers) worked very well for us.
From the initial waypoint just a short walk down to locate the cache at our calculated GZ where the container was found in good, dry condition.
Thanks, Pacmania - lots of fun and another obvious favourite from us!

Love playing with these kinds of technological toys. It was pretty straightforward and were lucky to get the required data quite quickly. It was late afternoon so the numbers were easy to read.
Sadly, near GZ there was a seriously injured large eastern grey kangaroo - it appeared to have an obvious broken hip/leg. Heart ️ breaking! So, we contacted ACT Government and the rangers were on site in no time to take care of the animal.
We then proceeded to GZ down, down and down. Quick and easy find. TFTC Pacmania.

Huddled under my jacket for about 15 minutes cranking like mad to try and spot the numbers, still needed a nudge from a previous finder to refine a couple.
After that it was a short but quite steep stroll to GZ where after a quick search soon had cih.
Thanks for another unique cache from Pacmania and despite the sore wrist, I'm giving it a deserved FP.

Cranked and cranked. And felt strangely calm and serene by the end of it! Thanks for the fun Pacmania!
Out caching by myself today and was in Ainslie so thought I could have a go at this cache. Another very cool multi that was lots of fun. FP from me

What a fabulous cache! Luckily it didn’t take too long to crack it so crankiness was averted! TFTC
Got cranked today! What a great feeling! Took a minute or two to get the knack of it, but after a few shots had the required numbers, I hoped. Wandered over to GZ and there she was, beautiful. TNLNSL TFTC Favourite added for the fun
Found with Contesta. After lots of cranking I handed it over to Contesta who after a long while finally got the south co-ordinates. Oh well the eastings must be unchanged. Alas a search of the new gz was unsuccessful.
Back to the crank and almost on the first of the second tries the full co-ordinates emerged. A pleasant walk and the cache was found. Great fun and worth a fav. TFTC.

TFTC woohoo, persistence pays. Out for a days caching with Marmaduke Rothschild, we were off to an early start and made really good progress today, cleaning up quite a few 'unfinished biz' caches along the way. Cranky, cranky, and more cranky. First attempt I didn't go quite far enough and didn't get everything we needed. Back again, refining the process as we went and came up with the goods to my squeals of satisfaction. A fav from me, I like the ingenuity of this one, and refreshingly different. Thanks Pacmania, your efforts are thoroughly appreciated.
GREAT setup!
I’ve driven by this one a bunch of times and am so glad that I stopped for it today. WP1 took a lot of effort but it was well worth it.

Out on a caching blitz with muppet95, today our hit list contained Lab adventures, mystery caches, letterboxes, virtuals,a wherigo or two and a few high difficultly trads also tossed into the mix,we began our day at the top end of town as we cached down towards the university, across to Mt Ainslie with the adventures also taking us everywhere else all over and in-between before heading back home again,it was a big day out having ourselves an excellent time visiting some unique and interesting places and finding alot of fun, challenging and creative hides along the way.
One of the best multi caches ive seen or done,no worries with muggles at GZ
Well worth a fav!

Teamed up with Bonfire7 for a day of caching in Canberra. We had a very successful day outdoors, tackling a selected list of caches. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this recreational activity.
On the way up Mt Ainslie, we stopped by WP1 and found a clever device that made Bonfire7 cranky. A short walk to GZ and the cache was found safely tucked away.
Thanks For The Cache, Pacmania! Favourite Point awarded.

This is just awesome.
Just had a dnf on a multi, and have to go back to re-calculate my coordinates. So I needed a pick me up and this was close-ish. It more than did the trick.
Apologies to the swamp wallaby I disturbed close to GZ.
Fun fact: if you are thirsty, sucking on a Sheoak pod will alleviate you desperation.

It was a nice day to be out and about quietly making our way amongst some caches while keeping our distance. Usually not a problem at all!
I had the coordinates from a very vaguely earlier visit when rain prevented the find. So off we went with no luck. Bugger! Returned and did it again from scratch to find on digit was wrong! Problem solved and back to look again and of course find the cache!
A nice idea to do something different. A favourite for sure! Thanks Pacmania!

A well named cache. Very frustrating; I had many goes, but finally I was able to head to GZ. Cache and log are good. TFTC Pacmania.
A great cache and nothing short of what I expect from a Pacmania production. It took a couple of goes to learn the right cadence, then some more go-arounds to make out the information (it was really hard to make out the numbers in daylight, and some of them could be misinterpreted). Got it right though as I've been able to sign the log.
Incorporated my favourite container too so favourite points all round.

I went out today to finish the Adventure cache Labs for the Looking at Canberra series. My third expedition of the hot afternoon
took me to another spot on the side of this great hill. The Kangaroos are struggling, one just stayed put under a tree as I walked past.
Thanks.

We had a massive day with Wilbert67 clearing Mt Majura and mt Ainslie. Lots of walking up and down and not many tracks here and there. Great weather and good company. Thanks for the cache placement.

Had a day off, the weather was beautiful and I wanted to go for a hike... what more could you ask for? Oh, and there is that Mystery at the Museum that I hadn't finished yet! Hadn't cleared Mount Ainslie yet so it was the target for today. Started at 11, finished at 4:30 with all finds! Thanks to all the cache owners for the amazing variety of hides and field puzzles!
Second big day of caching around Canberra. Not so much hills today, so a lot more caches. Still walked more then 20 km in total, a pushbike would have been handy here and there! Weather was good and dry till I finished and almost ideal for caching, except for the cold start in the morning. All caches were found easily and were in good condition, thanks to all the owners for putting them out there. Luckily I had a steady hand and coords were soon found, love the idea, not seen before!

After swinging by the lab to pop in for a bit, I decided an afternoon geomission was in order
Swung by this one on the way up and after pulling the geounit over nearby, down I went to check this one out. Ah! Just the type of wizardry I was expecting from this particular CO! Righto then...on with the task! Took a little bit of fiddling to get into a good rhythm and at times I did get cranky and had to go through it all again! [:o)] But managed to get the coordinates in the end! Went up, jumped back into the geounit for the short drive, scramble down to GZ for an easy find!
Thanks for the hide, Pacmania Definitely a favourite point for this one!

Day 5 of our Clear Waters mega event holiday around Queanbeyan and Canberra, and today we headed up Ainslie to find a few highly recommended caches.
This was one of those recommended caches on our list, and for good reason. As we approached WP1, we knew we were in for something special, and when we opened it up, the kids especially loved it. Took a bit to get it right, and to maintain it long enough to get the coords, but what a fun cache. Very well built, and very deserving of a favourite point.
Gratias Pacmania.

On our way to the flash mob event, stainless steel rat and I made a few finds up the mountain here. This was to be the last and we are certainly glad we stopped for it. After finding WP1 I did the 'work' and SSR captured it. We were able to double check our workings and then head to GZ. Cache was found easily enough and SSR dropped off a couple of TBs here.
Thanks for a great cache Pacmania. Favourite point for this one.

We have arrived at Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega event and found some caches with the Tassie crew and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out with JJ52, Spidermonkeysmum, Southern Cross Caching and Aussie M & M for a huge day of geocaching near Canberra. We are caching as JAMSS to save taking up space in all the caches we find.
My apologies for the generic logs but sadly many caches have blurred into a mess in my head. It may have to do with 4500 km I drove in 8 days.
After being successful at WP1 we failed after that.
Thanks to Pacmania from mogni

In Canberra for the Mega, having roadtripped down over the weekend with Seff (seffnjarah) and Lennondayz29 via Moree, Dubbo, and Wagga. The roadtrip section took a toll on Ldayz, who decided she had enough of our toilet humour and incessant caching, and took herself off to do shopping and touristy things, while Seff and I continued our way through the list.
We had a slight change to scheduled programming today due to Victor del Prado's auxillery charger and battery throwing a wobbly and refusing to charge the fridge. Standing between Seff and an ice cold Solo when he needs one is not a sensible idea, and so the target list of caches changed slightly to accommodate dropping the battery off for some TLC.
Seff, having done his homework (as he was initially supposed to be doing this cache alone after I left to fly home to Brisbane), wouldn't let me read the cache description or any of the logs on our approach here, but very kindly (!) suggested I'd like to be the one to retrieve and have first crack at this one. I gingerly approached the WP, suspecting a fake snake, or spider, or yeti or some such thing was going to come flying out of the WP container. Once I opened it, I was initially underwhelmed, then swiftly extremely cranky indeed. Seff was doing a good job as watcher and scribe, but I was doing an extremely sub-par job of the...other task! Once we swapped, Seff used the intel gathered by watching my ham fisted attempts to extract the required information first go. Smug git! Off to GZ where the cache was found after a short search. TFTC, and have another FP to add to the collection!

Dez (JezNDez), Lennondayz29 and I headed off on Friday from Brisbane, making our leisurely way south towards the Mega event in Queanbeyan. After finally arriving in Canberra yesterday, today was our first full day of caching in the ACT prior to the start of the event. We have been truly fortunate with the weather on our trip so far, yet another cracking autumn day with sun shining and blue skies.
A problem with my car's auxiliary battery saw a tweak to the running order of our to-do list, in order to fit in a visit to an auto electrician, but this was one of the caches we managed to visit on a drive up Mt Ainslie.
Having read some previous logs in preparation of our visit today, I was rather cruel and insisted that Dez be first to attempt ot extract the required information from WP1. Settling down into a comfortable position, the curse words began to fly thick and fast as the task had to be recommenced time and time again. As cramp in the hand took its toll, the task was handed over to yours truly for an attempt. Having watched the efforts of Dez I implemented a technique which quickly yielded a result on the first attempt. At the final GZ it took a little searching before the final container was located. TFTC

Looking at the views from a few mountain tops in the area with Dino given the beautiful weather today.
I had my eyes on this one from my last visit when I ran out of time and light. So a quick decision to stop here on the way down. We had to work hard on the WP1, Dino couldn't manage and it was quite shaky to read of when I got cranky with the machine. we managed fine and it was fun nevertheless. Awesome cache! FAVpoint.
Thank you Pacmania for putting such cool gadget caches!

Now that was a cranky cache! I had read this one a few times but I didn’t quite understand what was awaiting me. Quite a pain to get right but I stayed patient on it.

Wow, this deserves a lot more finds than it has received, and in favour a lot more favourite points to bring it up further in the list of Canberra's best!
I was looking for a cache to do before work, and soon spotted that this one hadn't been found since 2017!? No idea how that is, given how easily accessible it is and how much fun it entails!
So i chose it as my target cache and parked at one of the two provided waypoints. A short walk through the bush later and I found the device at WP1!
Everything was still in amazing condition despite not being found for ages, however it took me about 20 minutes of cranking to eventually get the coords! Doing this alone and trying to focus on the words as well as not messing up because one small mistake and you start over!
I was starting to get hot and a sore arm, but soon had the numbers I needed and rejoiced, phew!
Took the walk to GZ and soon found the cache lying on the ground, but still in perfect condition once again! The hiding spot was obvious, it even had a rock in it, so I replaced the cache and it fit perfectly, and I put an extra rock on top as I assume an animal was the one to throw it on the ground.
Yet another amazing Pacmania cache, well done to you sir, an obvious favourite point and I really hope more people come out and give it some more love!

Nice night for a walk with Geopartner and Geohound. As Geohound has no thumbs, he decided not to try and work this device, so Geopartner had the first go. Then I had the second go to complete the info.
Then a fun walk through the scrub to GZ, where we spent a bit of time rummaging, until I reverted to the hint and soon figured out where the container might be. TFTC Pacmania. A fave. Very cool.

Found with Decrypter. We'd noticed this one and were intrigued by it, so today we decided to give it a go. We arrived at the starting point and it was as we'd expected. I got cranky and was happy with the result. D decided that I hadn't been cranky enough so he also got cranky. Now we had final co-ords and we headed in that direction. Once there we soon had CIH. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, I'm giving it a favourite. TFTC.
Boy, was I cranky by the time I got the full message. It took me a full half an hour of cranking to get the full message as every slight vibration of the mechanism or variation in the cranking caused the message to restart.
I had visited the site last year but on that occasion I had only half the message and being new to caching I did not know what to do with it. It also alerted me to the need to bring something to use as a cloak as the message is difficult to see in full daylight.
The final location is also a good hide and I had nearly convinced myself that I had got it wrong when I finally located it exactly where the GPS said it should be. There is a lot of litter in the area but the cache is a proper container, well hidden.
I give this a favourite point. TFTC

Was in the area with dty73 and AddictedGamer so stopped to get this cache on the way through to another. I really did enjoy this cache but it take take me a bit of use to get the numbers! Would almost have it and then bump or change the motion and back to the start, quite a few times! Not sure the encouragement message in the middle helped make me more cranky but soon enough had what i needed. Dty73 grinned on at us in an effort to make us cranky enough to keep trying while we worked it out , and had to have another go after as it didn't take her as long the first time as us. AddictedGamer also signed the log today and then we headed off for another cache in the area passing some unusual items on the way. Thanks for the cache Pacmania, really do enjoy these ones.
This was another of those unique caches that I love so much. It was simple and easy to use and worked perfectly. Luckily it was a little cloudy while I was here which made it easier to read. GZ was fine to get to and then the walk back up again. Tftc!!!
Cache 2491 on 23/4/17
Found at 1345 with TikvaNZ after completing the Kokoda multi nearby. TikvaNZ and I had spent a lot of time and effort clearing up the caches on Mt Ainslie, only to have this one appear shortly afterwards! So, with such a lovely day to hand, it would have been sinful to leave it unfound.
Interestingly, WP1 is designed for a right handed person, so TikvaNZ was given the task of being cranky! After a few minutes of being cranky, we had the final numbers in hand and headed down the hill. The phone GPS was not playing nicely but it was a quick find anyway.
Thanks Pacmania for another well made cache - a fav of course!

After AngelG27 and I found the Kododa Memorial, we stopped to grab this cache on our way back down the hill. The WP was soon located, but it took us a few goes to get all the numbers with certainty - without getting too cranky. At GZ the cache was soon found. A favourite. TFTC.

#5134 - 17:55; After a visit to Majura Park for fuel, I decided to head up the hill to try for this cache on a roundabout way home again. I should have parked at the lower parking area, which provides better access to the WP and GZ, but started uphill from there. A quick find at the WP and a bit of work getting cranky soon saw the required information committed to memory, before being loaded into the iPhone and follwed by a successful visit to GZ. A favourite for the effort. TFTC Pacmania
Ooohhhh! This one got me cranky! I'd already hiked up Mt Majura today and was most of the way up Mt Ainsle.
I managed to get what I thought were the right coords so had set off down the hill to find them.
Skip the geohound had spotted kangaroos and being a whippet/staghound cross, loved the idea of chasing them. All good, as she was on lead and is only a little dog at 21kg, but was most determined in her efforts to chase them, which meant hauling her all over the place (the challenge of caching with a dog on lead!) made looking for the cache harder than it should be. I also had in my mind that this was a regular size container, so didn't look in the spots a small container would be. I was certain my coords were wrong and had already decided I wasn't going to trek up the hill again. I reread the cache description, and discovered I was looking for a small cache. I discovered it right away. No more crankiness here!
SL, TFTC and challenge in controlling crankiness.

There is nothing quite like a cranky cache to get you into the right frame of mind for the rest of the day. I tackled this one this morning and somehow managed to mix up my final coords. After sorting that mess out I made a quick find. In the end I didn't mind getting cranky. TFTC
We have been eyeing this cache off since it was published, but wanted to combine it with a run up Mt Ainslie. We had the feeling it would be fun and worth the effort of the run, since Pacmania's caches have given us much pleasure of the years. This one did not disappoint. Blue sky and an autumn breeze meant the weather was perfect, and we were soon on some small trails heading up. At WP1, we were glad to have 2 sets of hands....one to manoeuvre and one to read.
After a couple of attempts it seemed we had the correct information, so it was back down the hill and off to find GZ. The coordinates were spot on, and we soon had a signed log before heading back down the mountain.
Thanks Pacmania. Lots of fun, in a beautiful location...it ticks all the boxes.
A definite favourite from the Domsky Duo.

Found on a briskish Autumn morning. Was checking out some modifications required for my Mt Ainslie meander and was passing this on the way back home - Always time for some Pacmania goodness. WORDS OF WARNING, bogans habitat nearby, aside from the empty bottles , there was also a sharps container very close by (which I will report to rangers). As I was beginning my scan around WP1, there was scuffling in the nearby bushes as Mr TankEngine esq came down to investigate. That cranking is hard work and I certainly recommend having a cranker and a scribe on location. Luckily I came prepared. Then it was off for a wander thankfully in the same direction the car was (ish). FP awarded and I look forward to the next bit of gizmo ish !
What a cool cache! Arrived at WP1 just as AB was starting to search for it. Found it nice and quickly then. Now time to see what kind of treat you had in mind for us! Hmmm - that's interesting! OK - so we applied team-work for this one. Agent Basil was the cranky one, and I was the scribe! I'm wondering whether AB was not cranky enough - or maybe he is always that calm in a potentially stressful situation! . But not to worry - we soon had a set of coordinates! Thanks for the fun Pacmania!
Had a look today and pushed the pin back in. Should be OK now.
Looks like someone got too cranky!

10645. Found on a quick run at lunchtime today.
When I saw another Pacmania cache published on Mt Ainslie I knew we were in for a treat. Parked nearby today and wandered down to WP1. I found the cranky cache and convinced it to reveal the final coords. Approached GZ and after a short search located the cache nicely tucked away in its hidey hole. Very nice. Signed the log, dropped a TB, replaced the cache and headed back to the car and work.
Please everyone be careful at WP1 as the cranky part is already looking a bit worse for wear.
Thanks Pacmania - another good one ! Favourite Point !
TN Left TB - TFTC !!

2nd of a couple of Pacmania multis today.....and this one was right up there with some of his other clever ones. Found the WP without issue and then set about what to do. Couldn't get a good read on what was required at first....but then a bit of shifting and the whirly gig thing started doing its thing. They say 2 hands are better than one.......and I say 4 would be better than 2....but the former was a bit of fun as well.
Once the GZ was sorted I headed off in that direction, very pleased with my decision to park where I did, and after a bit of careful walking (not that my knees were all that happy) I arrived at GZ and the cache was soon in hand. Log was signed and then it was back to the car.......
Thanks Pacmania.....another fav point for giving us something different once again.

22/4 @ 21:35 Mr Stormcatcher tends to get very cranky when he is hungry, so this might not have been the best time to go for this one....but who can resist a new creative Pacmania cache !
Everything cranked out beautifully first go which was nice...got the full message and stopped in case it got to cranky and exploded in our hands.
A lovely walk in the dark and we tried not to get to cranky at the thought of heading back upward...probably should have put on the walking boots for this one. Sneaky hide at GZ which was quickly uncovered to end the multi fun.
Fantastic cache again Pacmania, FP without question. Thanks again .

{114} An early morning drive up Mt Ainslie and a fun cache on another splendid April day. I found the equipment at the listed coordinates very easily. It took several attempts to reveal the information I needed. I suspect right-handers will find the process a little easier.
I never got to the end of the message, and I wonder what the final words said. But I saw numbers and I plugged them in to the GPSr and headed for GZ. It was a pleasant walk, and there were several birds out and about, enjoying the morning.
Five minutes of investigating possible hides at GZ and then I had it. Signed on the first page, under sumbloke's name, for a not-so-rare *STF* IOTCFS.
Didn't have anything with me of equal or greater value to any of the swag items, so left them for another finder.
Last December I set myself the challenging goal of collecting 100 multis in 2016. So this will help towards that goal, but I still have another 90 to go!
Thanks Pacmania for a cache that was all it was cranked up to be!

*FTF* @21:00.
#1148. 140 days in a row.
I was a bit cranky by the time I arrived to try for this cache, given I'd just hit a kangaroo (no damage to me and not enough damage to the car to make it undrivable). I got to the waypoint and spent a bit longer getting at it than I would have had it been daylight, but got it out eventually. The waypoint item was roughly the type I expected, so I got the coordinates (after getting a bit cranky at the item) and headed off to GZ for a very quick find. Then I was off back to home to lodge an insurance claim.
