To hard for me and chippymick today…..a bit to snaky and creepy crawly for me to delve in to far!!
Will be back to avenge another day!!
Will be back to avenge another day!!
Lots of hiding places here, and I thought I looked at them all, there were some I wouldn’t put my hand in (snake season), I’ll have another go after someone else finds it
Heute werden noch einmal ein paar Dosen / Cache gesucht bevor es in ein paar Tagen wieder zurück nach Deutschland geht.

With confirmation from the CO the cache was in place, I had time this afternoon to have yet another crack at this cache. There was an old guy standing on the edge of the road up a ways from GZ but he didn't seem to be interested in anything except his own thoughts so I decided to just go for it.
Parked in my usual spot and headed back to a relevant area to enter the bush lining the lake. Well I spotted a likely place to look straight away, bingo! - not sure what was different or why I managed to overthink the whole thing 3 times previously.
Oh well, glad to finally change this from a frowny to a smiley. Difficulty extracting the container with a bit of blood sacrificed to the caching goddess in the process only to find a completely waterlogged logbook, the container was about half full. I had my caching kit in this car so left the container draining while I went and found some paper, another plastic bag and some swag to leave. Visited the stack of TB's I'm currently carting around and went off to shop with a smile on my mind.

Third time unlucky for me here. Glad the lake is looking exceptionally pretty with lots of lotus flowers making the stop worthwhile
After a few DNFs it good to finally find one. Had taken in a lot of water, log damp. Maintenance required
Log bag saturated but managed to sign. Not as tricky as expected one looking to sound of a cache. Tftc
It's still here, found it following a look at some previous logs and definitely a good camo that won't be muggled, had lots of water in the container and log was wet but had nothing to replace it with. Tftc
Didn’t not find today with theprodigalgoat
GPS was playing around and wouldn’t settle and there was some muggles across the road that were staring at us which did not help
We will try again another day

No joy.
Looked in the logs, up the trees, in the water, under all the rocks, bricks, rubbish.
It has eluded us this time!

Coffs Harbour staying at the footy club for the weekend.
Today we headed north as far as Arrawa then returned back to town, caching as we went.
We have never been by Lake Russell before although we had heard of it.
Thanks for placing this cache Mystery Sleuth

In the Coffs district to find as many caches as we can before we head home after the Alice Mega.
We may sign small log sheets as CG.
Mrs Coongoola found this one after a lot of perseverence.

TFTC, fairly quick find only after reading some prev logs, the cache log book was saturated, dried out a bit on my car bonnet.
Tftc beautiful spot named after my children's great grandfather Russell Hammond who developed this land
Found in the company of pprass
After searching for ages well that was abit of exaggeration, but in this heat i was struggling. I was done! i was even happy to have a DnF by this point. But a true cacher should not give in. After nearly giving up, i was looking a this particular spot and knelt down. I looked at this hidey hole and thought ' no, it cant be' yes it was, the cache. My gosh it was a struggle to get it out. Glad we didn't give up cause this one would haunt me for the rest of the day haha. TFTC Mystery Sleuth.

Lovely location with the lily pads spreading across the water and that huge white house is quite imposing! The location for the cache was quite imposing with so many possible hiding spots within a 5 metre radius, but at least it was not a micro! After searching for about 20 minutes and turning everything over we called it quits, but as we were leaving, Hayley catches a glimpse of something blue about 15 centimetres down a gap and starts to clear the way to get to it. However the covering camo had just about cemented itself in and it was a bit of a struggle to remove it. The CO should be pleased to know that the previous finder sure did a good job of following the re-hiding instructions
Thanks Mystery Sleuth.
Feedback: The log book is sopping wet and this cache deserves a higher D rating considering that the much easier "Check your Tyres" is rated a D of 3.0.

It's been a bit up and down today when looking for caches. We've been a bit sorry for ourselves at times. But this was a good find, with lots of muggle geese to keep us company.

Found on a caching day out with my geobrother cullum68...nice spot for a cache...thanks Mystery Sleuth
Great spot. Some locals thought we too were taking an interest in the ducks with white chests that were dumped here recently. Well, it seemed as good a reason as any as to why we were here so we talked 'ducks' till they continued on. TFTC Mystery Sleuth.
