Logs
After getting some pointers from CO on a recent event up here I made this my most northerly place on this trip. I spotted what I was looking for as I walked up. Not sure how I missed it first time. Tftc.
On our travel TEMBO! and I managed a stop and walked the overpass to visit and log the cache. Thanks to Mystery Sleuth for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
The wasps nest is not a micro cache the real cache is up a bit from the wasps nest
Thanks for this cache mystery sleuth just one that was convenient for us to pick up today. On our way from Emerald Beach towards Coffs was just a little quick duck across the bridge slightly tricky find but not that hard we enjoyed finding it and signed the log.
Cheers and happy cashing!

DAY 7
After much planning, saving and extra mods to the 4WD we are finally on our way to Longreach to take part in the QOGM festivities. A short stopover in Coffs Harbour visiting relatives has us enjoying the mild weather, the great scenery and not to mention a cache or 2.
A search in a few locations until the cache was spotted higher than expected.
Thanks Mystery Sleuth for the placement.

Originally in the wrong spot but Sour_Lemoms relocation made for a quick find. Nice views. TFTC!
Weren’t sure at first looking with Erm_the_worm but then looked around more and bang! Something flashed in front of me and there it was the cache. TFTC
Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. Our GPSr was a bit spotty here for some reason, not sure why as there isn't exactly a lot of tree cover or cliffs.
We checked all the usual spots with no luck before heading a bit higher and making the find.
Thanks for the Cache!

Had a good look and getting worried we would miss it when GeoEd had out in hand Tftc
First foray out with a geodog to see if it's worth him coming on local caching trips . This one was soon in hand so it was easier to leave him in the car . Tftc
Thanks Mystery Sleuth for the cache. It’s #1242 for us. We found your cache on 21 February 2020. Quick grab exactly where I’d have placed it! Log Full

A 'Mystery Sleuth' cache,

In the Coffs district to find as many caches as we can before we head home after the Alice Mega.
We may sign small log sheets as CG.
Met a gaggle of geese walking along the overpass which made our day. Cache is in great condition.

Found at 3:43 PM GAFF1 in the company of NurseHayley.
These overpasses and new "ways" that seemingly randomly criss cross over the highway are not shown on our old maps on our GPSr's making it quite interesting to work out when we should turn off to get to these caches. We are going to experience the same at the Port Macquarie end of the new highway work.
Thanks Mystery Sleuth.

Very wet day, but the rain had eased enough for a quick sign and then kept running north to see what others I can find
