Stopped in Dajarra for another break in our travels and to find this cache.
First we had a wander around the cemetery then we made our way up to GZ. A curious billy goat followed us at a distance.
We wished we’d read pprass’s log beforehand and come prepared with a new cache as this one is broken and brittle. (One side has totally broken off.)
But , with no rain here at the moment, the log and contents are quite dry.
Thank you.

On my way to NT via Birdsville Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Those white gums on the cliff edges look awesome.

Interesting that there is a sign that prohibits entry, but as I was not planning to sabotage the town's water supply today, I headed up and started to rock hop - stopped at 3 metre distance on the GPS - looked down and there was the cache!
After signing the log book, I scanned the area - just wonderful views.
Thanks DavidNarelle.
Feedback: Not sure that any of the TB's are in there any more - who would have thought that could happen

Heading to Boulia, Bedourie and Birdsville. This was one of our targeted caches to get new LGAs. Checked out the rocks and got the cache. Beautiful view. Thanks a d fav point
Passing by on the way back from the Isa. Stopped at the road house and noticed this cache in the vicinity. Parked at the cemetery and started the climb over the rocks in the steel cap boots and hi-vis. Discovered cache quickly and enjoyed the views. Found the rack down along the road. Thanks for the mini adventure and beautiful views.
We did the trek up the hill and admired the stunning view over Dajarra lands. The cache was found after a short search and I dropped off a couple of TBs for someone else to move along. We then headed to camp overnight at lovely Dajarra Dam with the large herd of cattle.
It's good to break up the drive with a few stops, some fantastic views and a cache. Karicka was playing tour guide and took us up here on the way to Boulia. Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache. Nice view and a good place to stretch the legs during a road trip.
Cheers

After looking at the unbelievable display of all things old at the post office we made our way here. What a panorama. The cache container and contents are all in good condition. TFTC
Installing a new teachers house in Dajarra so a nice evening walk to grab this one cheers Great view also thanks
After spending a great 5 weeks going up north then west, it was time to head east then south to get home.
I had planned to do this area 2 years ago but a blown motor put a stop to that between Three Ways and Mt Isa.
As I had the camper on behind it was a walk to the cache for me.
A great view in all directions.
I must come back up this way and stop in all of the towns to have a look around.
Thanks Davidnarelle TFTC.

Going to Boulia for a couple days heading for Winton. Felt a bit overwhelmed looking for this one, so many hiding spots. Eventually found something that didn't look quite right. Great views from this vantage point.TFTC
Well, a weekend away camping would not be complete without some caches. Had to go the long way home to make it worthwhile. TFTC TNLN
I come through here a bit for work so i thought it was time i found the cache.

After attending the Red Centre Experience event and spending a little time exploring some iconic locations in the Northern Territory, it was time to make a more or less express trip back home. Fortunately there were sufficient well placed caches at opportune spots to safely park and stretch our legs on our way home [^].
We loved our overnight stay in Dajarra, including a meal at the local pub. We had arrived in the early evening so left exploring the little museum and Dajarra Dreaming until the next morning. Now that we have had a small taste of what there is to offer in central and north-west Queensland, we will need to look at organising another trip sometime when we can spend more time to explore the area.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the logbook, we continued on our long journey.
Thank you DavidNarelle for having placed the cache for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Camped back at the dam for the night then on to this one, we parked and trekked up to this lookout, a couple of shots then the search was on with the GPS taking me in a bit of a circle, a further search outward from the GZ I spied something that I thought was worth investigating and there it was .
Signed logbook 10/09/2016 10:00 am and replaced all as found.

Driving from Mt Isa to Boulia, taking a few days to do the Diamantina Developmental Road, and grabbing the few caches along the way.
We hiked up the hill, and started scrabbling around the rocks. Snakes becoming more prevalent as the weather warms up, so we were extra vigilant.
Mr D found the hide. Thanks Davidnarelle

Travelling around Australia and currently visiting outback Queensland.
Interesting few weeks from Charleville, Quilpie, Windorah, Birdsville, Bedourie, Boulia and on today to
Mt Isa.
After being freezing cold and wet for the last little while we couldn't believe driving 300km north saw us in shirt sleeves and sunglasses, although we still had some sunshowers.
Stopped here for lunch. Mrs TT and Mrs F prepared lunch whilst the boys scrabbled up and down for the cache. Great view.

On our way towards Mt Isa and picked a few caches on the way with FelixII. Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed the walk up the hill. A cloudy day, little rain, but great views were had from here.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
