Just came by and joined the long train of DNFers. It's been many months since the last find and no response from the CO. Might be worth considering archiving so as not to mislead cachers.
I had another good look at this location and pretty sure it's gone. Can the CO please pop past to have a look.
Weather closed in around me whilst looking for this one ... and I had park to myself...
Felt and looked everywhere. No luck. Have message owner...

DNF, checked high and low, had the park to myself and had a good search, found a previous post with the photo and looked in what I thought to be every location but still came up empty handed
No. 786
Grabbed this one late yesterday while in the area. Wasn't too difficult. Replaced as found. TFTC!

Like it, thanks
Happened to be close by, but unfortunately didn't have a pen, so took photos instead.

Drop My dad off at Westmead Hospital for op to 6 hours ... Im go out for geocaching today....
Beautiful full sunny and bit hot...
Hide well... no trouble...
Thanks
TFTC - lucky I was in work uniform (hi-vis etc) so l could pass off (hopefully!!) as a council worker inspecting this area of the park. Fingers crossed anyway.
I left work late so that by the time I went out to find my cache today it was already dark , which is a good thing when you go caching in a kiddies park. The park was deserted which allowed me free reign of inspecting the play equipment. It wasn't a quick find but I did think it was a clever hide SL #2579 on streak day #1448 TFTC
Had to wait for a couple of muggles to leave. A short search and there it was. Clever camo. Thanx
On a cold and wet Saturday afternoon park and street were empty so it was a easy find once I went up To the right level. TFTC.
This took a while to find until I read past logs and got some hints. The cache took a while to open as it has become very sticky. A nice idea.
TFTC.

A quick find in an empty playground. A clever idea, but not sure how long until some taller kid swipes it.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I would prefer not to do caches at kids playgrounds. I know of another geocacher who was once hounded from a park with cries of paedophile ringing in his ears, simply because he was an older man looking for a geocache. That's something I've remembered (it wasn't me by the way) and I would not have even bothered to get out of the car for this cache without the WaywardWoman with me.
Still, we were concerned about causing alarm to the two women talking and the small boy nearby. I wanted to go to them and explain what we were doing, but they showed no interest in us whatsoever, so I decided to try to make a quick retrieval of the cache, instead, which I was able to do, and get out of there.

Took longer then expected but very rewarding in the end. Great cache location and gray camo. I almost missed it. Master Q loves the playground.

#3601- Our third for the morning. I had been here yesterday and since I was in the area again today, I dropped in for another look. Now I know I'm not tall, and I swear I had felt all along there yesterday, but with some intel, and bikerbuddy's height to actually see it, we got it quickly today.
Just as well- the mum and grandma ignoring their bored child in the park made it a bit more of a challenge. For a while we thought about speaking to them about what we were doing to assure them we weren't interested in the boy, but they took no notice of us either, so it was a grab, sign and return.
I do hate caches on equipment though, even if they are during school hours. Thanks

4/5/16. 10:40 AM. Cache #3811.
1st of 5 this morning - Granville, Prospect, Seven Hills & Schofields.
Yesterday I was going to head out west to pick up some caches from the 25/4 & 1/5 publishes, but by the time I headed out, more new caches got published so I changed my plans for an FTF. Today I took up yesterday's plan, plus there were some other new ones from yesterday to add to the haul.
Started with this one, hoping to redeem my previous DNF. Now that I had confirmation that it was still there (thanks for the check!) and armed with extra intel, I returned with more confidence. A muggle was playing with her kid at GZ, so I waited in my car, but she left within 5 minutes. In I went for an easy find. Not sure how I missed it before; must have been rushing. Next one was "What a Wild time?". TFTC.

Returned at a time that there would be no little muggles to derail my mission. Again with hi-viz vest, jacket & beanie due the crisp degree at the early time.
Made my way through the entire equipment without CIH, so returned to the start and tried again and found in a spot where I wasn't thorough enough.
Back on my way to work, thanks Georachd

Having seen that MC and KRS DNF'd this the first time around, I don't feel so bad- nothing for me today, but getting dirty.
1/5/16. 8:03 AM.
1 DNF & 2 finds - Granville, Smithfield & Baulkham Hills - still trying to clear out the new hides from late April.
The rain had all but stopped as I found myself in the empty playground. I climbed, crawled and looked all over the equipment, taking particular note of places outside the reach of littlies.
I was empty-handed after about 10 minutes and didn't want to stick around as a neighbour was hanging washing on her balcony overlooking the park. Texted a friend but no reply. One recent logger wondered how long this would last - a check by the owner or a find by someone else might allay that concern. I left, and went to "First Alpha".

5pm- Sat in my vehicle and projected a GZ because a father is multi tasking pushing two kids on swings, 2 separate mums with 4 kids climbing the play gym, a couple sitting down having a picnic! Such a small park, busy, still can't get why a picnic here though.
Okay, notebook, tape measure, safety hi-vis check, proceeded to my GZ when the gent asks me why the swings are broken.
Wow, I have them fooled! Then all pear shape, mum asks me the reason for my visit, why it's the play equipment tagging register.
What dribble, can we help? Says the two young 8yr old girls, no it's okay, I have what I need.
Bollox I do, ahh, collapsed under the intense pressure.
Now, let's just whisper something to the CO, don't archive this hide but it's not the best idea to place a hide in the spot where google maps want you to go, and promise the follow up hide to be just away from one of these at the next location.
Well as arni would say "I'll be back!" Thanks for providing an amusing situation.

FTF with Snoopy1976.
Noticed a few newly published caches, thought I'd have a go, collected Snoopy1976 for the ride.
Great effort, great company.
Not sure how long it will last though.
