A lumpaili teda dost. Cel sever jsem nevidla a i v ostatnch stech ostrova mi zbyla msta, kam bych se jet chtla podvat.I slept today in a nearby bizarre hotel Otira Stagecoach Hotel and in the morning I set off for a mountain ride on the Grand Alpine Hwy. It was beautiful sunny weather and I really enjoyed the trip with views, caches and a few walks. I was also very amused by the Kea parrots, which take care of the entertainment of tourists in Arthurs Pass at the caf. I found a total of 40 caches and in the evening I arrived in Christchurch, from where I am leaving tomorrow for the North Island. Thanks to everyone for the caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Big hiking day today: first up and down Avalanche Peak, suberb track & views! Placed a cache at the summit there, should be published soon. Then a few more hours in and around the village. Very enjoyable day!Nice little village with so much interesting history. Quick find, tftc!
After years on our bucket list and three cancellations due to Covid, we are thrilled to finally be here. Following several cruises we flew from Sydney, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand to begin our next adventure. Picked up our rental vehicle and will be driving, exploring, hiking, and caching both islands for 3.5 weeks. It was raining steadily, but we had umbrellas so off we went. Not any muggles around with the rainy conditions so searching, retrieving, adding our ink to the log, and placing the cache back as found was much easier. Thanks for adding to our adventure today, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl, Arkansas, USA
Found it on our Tour from Hokotika to Kaikoura, making a short stop for a coffee. Greetings from GermanyTFTC FaM11

I did stop for this one when I arrived on Friday night but my gps was pointing behind the house on the opposite side of the road which didn't feel right so left it. Today it was pointing in a more logical direction and found the cache immediately. TFTC benebbwilliams

Quick find on my way back to the cafe for ice cream. Surprisingly large cache for the location - obviously safe from the kea warned about on the nearby sign. TFTC
Got left in the village to cache, when some family went on to see the road bridge, not got my pen, off to see if village shop might sell me one!
On my way to the Punchbowl falls, but stopped here first
Found a parking space, looked at the obvious, then realised there was another obvious spot, and there was the cache.
Thanks for the hide benebbwilliams, and for bringing me here

#10,030. Day 2 of the extended Labour Weekend geocaching road trip. I flew down with geocaching buddy Infoferret yesterday with a target list of geotour caches, adventure labs, puzzle finals, a few virtuals and a hike to get the DGSC final. We can't resist stopping to pick up a few traditionals on the way to boost the overall numbers. The Adventure Labs claimed during the week down south have thrown my overall numbers into chaos. Maybe the souvenir 10,000 find will pop up today rather than on Bank's Peninsula. Who knows when.
After stopping for a well earned rest and a coffee at the village, it was time to resume caching once more. Parked close by and IF soon spotted the cache in a place that I was not expecting. Signed the logbook, replaced the cache where found and on our way again. Thanks benebbwilliams for hiding it here.

A wonderfully easy find as I wandered back from the falls to the carpark in fading light. The ute parked here, next to the No Parking sign, gave me some shelter from the icy wind as I filled in the log. Only my 2nd find today due to rubbish weather early in the day and then unsuccessful kea searching when the conditions improved. TFTC
Had spent the night in the village, and went for this one just before we left. A few campervans across the road, so sat down and tried to look surreptitious. The last word of the hint item seems to have turned to stone . TFTC.
Slow start to our caching day with 3 dnfs already. Thankfully found this one. Tftc with isistibisi
