#5991 Our last day camping in Greenough area. Taking it easy visiting a few local sites and resting for our big journey home back to NE Victoria. Found this during a morning walk along the trail with the geohounds. Loved this design and concept here. Could do with some maintenance as it is not quite functioning correctly. TFTC.
Popped this one on the 'saved' list to find when making the trip South after a whirlwind trip and up down the coast!
Always excited to find a gadget cache, and marvel at the thinking and design that goes in to creating them.
Made the mini hike from the carpark, via the lookout to GZ, which probably wasn't the best idea after just inhaling lunch!!
Cache soon spotted and solved. There is a screw missing from part of the mechanism, but cache is still serviceable and you still get the experience. Tried to Macgyver it a little but to no avail. Replaced as best I could ready for the next finder.
FP for design and the adventure.

Found on a trip to the west from South Australia.
Last night I camped at Coalseam and headed towards Geraldton to catch up with friends, checking out a few places and looking for caches of interest along the way.
As previous finders have noted, the outer container is a bit damaged from wear and tear and needs a new screw on the latch. However with a bit of care it still functions and the inner cache container and logbook are fine.
Thanks Miss-Placed for the puzzle and the cache. A favourite point from me for the creativity.

What!? No Apple Pay?!
A quick trip up north with some select caches to collect. Despite yesterdays rain we had made good progress so could do a few more. A nice walk along the river a collect these gadget and other caches. Pity some have been archived.
We completed the signing duties and re hid.

Made it , a screw is missing from the latch - it needs maintenance, but a great find TFTC
The caches along this trail have definitely made the trek worth it! Really love the idea and amount of effort that has gone into this, needs a little bit of maintenance so that people can continue to enjoy it! A favourite for sure
Found it! Awesome cache. Did a little repair on it. Took an eraser and snapped it for a ring tftc
Find 6 of 16 with three DNFs on our road trip back home after a gorgeous couple of days in Gero.
Haha, managed to check out ok here.
TFTC Miss-Placed!

In Geraldton for a few days so decided to grab a few caches whilst here, happy to say we came up trumps and walked away with a smilie TFTC
Found with Outnabout. This one in tact. A fav point from us. Great effort by BeckNmonts. TFTC.
Found full of a little bush mouse nest kids absolutely loved that hopefully we didn't disturb them 2 much
Out for a walk to do the Greenough trail caches. Such great caches along here and it's a beautiful morning for a walk. Beknmonts this is well thought out. We had it in next to no time and thanks for the room. It was very neat, clean & tidy! TFTC. SL.
Beautiful morning and thankfully the chill wind was not blowing. Mr iluvtrekking and geo-hubby were keen to cycle the river path so they were dropped at the Devlin Pool Road end while Mrs iluvtrekking and I headed off to do other caches. Several hours later we picked them up at the town end and they enthused about the quality of hides and effort put into the containers. Thanks becknmonts
What a fantastic river trail made all the more interesting by the caches of quality along the way. Unfortunately we missed finding one of the caches but all the rest were found to be in good order though in some cases we had to work hard for our smilies. Thanks becknmonts, a stirling effort in engineering and effort.
Headed up to Geraldton for 4 days to try and find as many caches as we could. Its been 6 months since we were last there and there has been so many new caches come out that we will need another trip there to find them all. We ended up finding 215 and about a dozen DNFS. We picked a few up on the way and did a detour on the way home to Mullewa and i must say the wildflowers are beautiful at the moment. We found a great variety of caches including a couple of wherigo,s, lots of field puzzles, multi,s and the highlight for the hubby was doing the chirp cache. I would like to say all caches were found quickly but that definately wasnt the case lol.... There was some very tricky and sneaky hides that took quite a while to find with a few we went back a couple of times to till we found them. We managed to find a few that we previously had DNFS on and it was was great finding a lot of creative cache containers especially some of the field puzzle ones. Thanks to everyone for the caches and hope to find a lot more on our next trip to geraldton....

Another excellent cache! Thanks Becknmonts! Have to leave this series for now or we'll be late for the IGD event, but we'll be back!
TFTC! Today was day one of the "boys weekend" with me and Cravo heading up to Geraldton for IGD 2016, my third trip to this great part of our state and johns second. Think we will continue to do this every year? Especially with all of the new caches getting published around town!!
We drove up the coastal route to cleanup the last of what we had left, so that we could concentrate on the various alternate routes on the way home and on our trip to Geraldton and Mullewa next week for the annual Mullewa Gift event.
We picked up a number of new caches along the route and even some that we had missed on previous visits, being in a 4wd this year made it a lot easier to get to some of the hard to reach places that a 2wd would struggle to get to.
We completed a few really nice caches at cliff head including a legendary Liz and Bruce hide and a couple of ten year old caches.
We got to Greeenough and decided to complete the greenough walk trail caches as well as the caches along Delvin road, knowing that we wouldn't be heading back this way on the way home.
The greenough walk trail was great except for getting two flat tyres from some slow leaks that happened to go a bit faster!!
We then moved our attention to the planes series, which was just bliss, chewed through about 25 caches in just over an hour with Cravo and me taking turns at finding the most likely spot for a cache from about two hundred meters away.
We then meandered around town cleaning up a bunch of caches that have either been recently published or we've missed previously. Had a couple of DNFs, nowhere near as many as I famously had last year, but I might have to refresh my notes from some local cache owners who I'm looking forward to meeting at the event tomorow.
Thanks to the local COs for their hospitality so tatami their cool caches.

Headed to Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day event on Saturday 20th August.
Barnzy12 and I packed the car at 6am and headed North. Despite making a critical error by choosing the freeway to start the journey we then made it to Geraldton and checked into the motel by 5.30pm.
We found several caches along the way some new, old and even archived caches. As I missed the event last year I was guided to some others on the map that I hadn't found before and made for some quicker finds yet still enjoyable.
Ended up back at the motel after getting the new plane spotting series and some other caches close to the city centre at around 9pm. Beers were cold and was then time to relax. After a 15 hour day sleep was needed ready for the big day tomorrow.

Found during our amazing geowalk on the Greenough Nature Walk Trail. Visiting Geraldton from Secret Harbour for the IGD Geraldton event Mr Luna Maya thoroughly enjoyed solving all of the field puzzles for me. SL TFTC & puzzle Becknmonts
Hi there becknmonts.
We found your cache **"Reception" **at 10:26:00 AM today, so this makes our find count 14430.
We started the trail from the other end a few days ago. Today we thought that we would clean up the caches by walking in from the south end. We didn't discover that yet another one in the series had been published until we returned to our camp site to log our finds. I guess that means we will have to return again another day.
We have worn out our credit card this holiday. Luckily we still have enough credit to pay the (rather steep) 7%
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious construction.Without Geocaching as our guide we would never have seen so many wonderful places.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

What can I say. Loved it to the max! I was a little mad about having to pay the 7% surcharge though - you do know the ACCC is going to bring a law in to stop overcharging dont you? Still the surcharge is more than worth paying for the delight in getting to sign the found it log on this cache.
Another favorite. This trail is just the best of the best geocaches.
Thanks beckNmonts.
Ian & Sue - Team Pathfinder uses T.P. to sign smaller logs.
