Beautiful place, thank youendeavour3 for placing this game piece here, showcasing this lovely area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Found while out and about with Geospouse after a morning visiting museums. Received some help from a passing local who suspected what I was doing. Just hanging around. Tftc
#7515- We spent a short time looking for this fur to tree cover and a bouncing location, then turned around to see it. Thanks
We spent a fun and productive week geocaching on Norfolk Island, as well as seeing the spectacular views. We also did several tours and other activities on offer, which highlighted different aspects of the island life and history. Thanks for this cache.
We stopped for the bridge history down the hill and then came up to walk in circles with the trees for a while before MummyPenny spotted it. Thanks endeavour3.
Another spot where a lot of hard work happened. After some GPS distortion we located the well camouflaged cache. Thanks endeavour3
Found this cache after visiting Puppy's Point event, just as it was starting to get dark. It was still no problem and the log was soon signed. Thanks go to endeavour3 for this cache placement.

#7544 NI Day 2After finishing our half day island tour followed by glass bottom boats, we headed north west in anticipation of the Anson Bay event. Teamed up with b@w and ADI to find this cache. I was lured away from GZ by some disused machinery while I heard those magical words "found it"TFTC endeavour3
Found with ItsDozzie, Ziggyau, Everest High, Tardis, Max Adventurer and Brewmaker. So much history behind this location. Thanks for placing this cache endeavour3.
My buddies: bella at waggy & the GeoAdventurers Norfolk is gorgeous! Coors are a bit out..tree cover doesn't help.. we got here & were about to spread out when b@w called out: FOUND IT! & Then crash yelled out: I found a part of a discarded tractor!Thank you endeavour3, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.Follow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
Some north side caching with ADI and the 2079ers. Into the forest and some searching. Found parts of the old steam engine but the cache in a slightly different location. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Being as this is a geocaching holiday, there is always time for "one more"! We had done an island tour this morning, a glass bottom boat cruise this afternoon and after that a bit of caching then a walk down to Anson Bay for the Earthcache and the beautiful views at the bottom then there was an event for our Norfolk Island GeoAdventure group in the picnic ground above as the sun set.Well as we drove back to town now it was almost completely dark but we stopped for this cache, that 'just one more'. I'd noticed this picturesque bridge on our travels today, what a pretty spot! With the darkness it took a couple of minutes to spot this but it was a successful find to end our first full day on the island, and what a great start to the week it has been.If enjoyed the interesting information on the naming of this bridge and the historic photo.(Bit disappointed that I never took a photo of the area.) #14387 16:10The second day of Geo Adventure 2024 with a group of 30+ geocachers visiting Norfolk Island. Roaming around the island for a few days, a smaller group decided to tackle some caches in the South West first.Together with 4Rods, Ziggau, Everest High, Tardis, Max Adventurer and Brewmaker this cache was found. On our way to the event at Anson Bay, we briefly stopped for this cache. A walk into the shrubs and soon the cache was found.TFTC endeavour3.
Day 5 of my Norfolk Island adventure. I can understand why people want to live here . Its a little bit of paradise. Wow so much history on the island, Im enjoying my wandering seeing the sites . Some logs signed as N2OThis is my 12116find.Thankyou endeavour3 for placing and maintaining this cache
Found this reasonably quickly, but spent some extra time searching for the old bridge no joy, so maybe it isnt here anymore. We did find the rusty remnants of the other stuff. TFTC
Another quick find on our way up to the North Western part of the island. The log is slightly moist, but not so that you could not write in it.
This one has me stumped for longer than I care to admit! The GPS sent me 5 metres of course but found it on the way out. Thank you
T-Tech and I are visiting Norfolk Island for our 40th anniversary. We arrived from Brisbane and are staying for 2 weeks at Endeavour Lodge, and plan to get some R&R, see all of the sites, learn the history, and gather every cache here so we can claim the Se Dun Challenge Today we headed up the north-west coast to Anson Bay. Heading south again after the walk down to the beach and we visited the 3 caches in Selwyn Reserve. A quick find here, then we wandered down to learn the history. TFTC, endeavour3.
Over with IolantheK from Brisbane celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary [^]Out for another day of caching up the north east side of the island this time.Nice easy, Cache is dry and in good condition [^]TFTC Endeavour3

Find # 10440Day 2 in Norfolk, here for a week of caching fun with geofriends Joolay, barb2e, StrangeTrousers, and iPlod. Zoom zoom zooming around in Kermit (green not red) Logging as DEMCBR.Fantastic weather, warm and sunny after chilly temps when leaving home. This was a quick and easy find and here at Selwyn Bridge today. Thanks so much for the many caches endeavour3 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
# 8906 Today I joined iPlod65, Joolay, barb2e and contesta on the first full day of our Norfolk trip. It was just stunning out there today and we're starting to be able to find our way around. This morning was an orientation tour which helped a lot and was just great. Some logs signed collectively "Dem CBR".Had to check around a bit here. Thanks endeavour3 for the Traditional Cache
During July my wife and I took a break from Melbourne and spent a wonderful week on the Island - the first time for me (but hopefully not the last) and the second for her. Such a delightful place! I took my GPSr, with the traditionals downloaded (I don't really make the time to do puzzles or multis) and figured I would find a few as we went around the place. I never had any intention of finding all 41 of them, but somewhere around day 5 I realised it was actually feasible.
In the end it was a close call - one quite tough-to-get-to cache (Bird Island) I had to visit twice after not reading the description before my first visit and discovering it is really a multi and then stuffing up the calculations so I had an almost blind search for the cache; another (St Barnabas) was out of its hidey hole so took three visits before I found it among some fallen leaves nearby). But I got there and managed to claim them all.
In the interests of saving the limited data on my phone, I only look placeholder drafts during the week and am completing them back home, a month later. So with all due apologies, they are going to be pretty generic for the most part. But I will add comments about those that I particularly remember. No matter how detailed the final logs, I want to say a big thanks to those who have placed the caches and those who continue to maintain them. I had great fun finding them and they really helped make sure I saw as much of the Island as possible. So - a big and sincere TFTC

I had passed by this spot earlier in the week, but was not fully in caching mode. By this later stage I had realised that finding all the traditionals was a definitely possibility, so came back as part of a caching-focused mission. I parked down the road a little and trod my way through the mud to make the easy find.

The chosen spot to watch this afternoon's sunset with Mrs Gunnie and as we pulled up, the local wildlife decided that it was a better dining area and playground than to the South. Soon enough, we were surrounded by cows and a good half a dozen calves which was cool. One very playful calf kept circumnavigating the car at close proximity, much to Mrs G's delight.
With some time to kill before the sun hit the water, we wandered down to grab this cache, very pleased we did as you would not find the rusty machinery neatly tucked away otherwise. The GPS was not at all happy under the tree cover, so I got as close as I could, picked an obvious GZ and moved in to quickly locate the container.
Out with the log, I left my mark and tucked everything back. Time to head back up the hill for the solar extravenganza - Not.
Cheers endeavour3.

Exploring the north west corner of NI today. A quick find . Removing all the grass seeds from our legs, socks and boots is still ongoing. TFTC
Ha, we saw a fence and though it was a no go at first then we realised it was a person friendly but not cow friendly
, followed geo trail for a few metres, then we were on our own. Tftc fav pt fir the area and cache, all good.

We were just about to give up when I found this. The GPS was jumping around a bit in here, but we were glad to get it. TFTC
Family trip with Geogeneve and ktbrwn1. Would definitely not have discovered this!
We overshot the mark on this one but eventually corrected and spotted it with the help of the hint. Never would have found the old sawmill without coming down to find a cache. Enjoyed the walk and exploring the undergrowth. TFTC
Started at the Bridge and developed a new trust in the GPS. Finally got on track.TFTC
Looked around for a bit before a previous log gave us the tree we were looking
for.
Loved the abandoned machinery.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Found with O and H. Lots of baby terns in the trees. Such a beautiful spot. TFTC
Today I found the caches on the north west coast. Selling bridge was disappointing as I thought one built in 1888 would be nice in design.
Once I realised this bridge was built in 1888 I thought it may have some beautiful stonework. However after climbing through the electric fence, I saw the stonework was pretty rough and the opening has been updated to a metal pipe. So, a little disappointed. Love the date stonework and it was lost for so many years. Happy it is back where it belongs.
So..bit difficult this one. So many trees. We used to call these Rubber trees. Look for those, well hidden amongst the leaves.
Our 3 day caching in Norfolk Island, looked around to see how to get to GZ then it was quick find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO.

Day 3 on the Island and still fighting the elements. A heavy fog abounds and the ground is ultra slippery.
We managed 18 caches and a few stages of the Lookouts Adventure Lab caches today.
Had to backtrack for this one.

On 15 October 2022 a new batch of prisoners were shipped out of Brisbane to spend 7 days incarcerated on Norfolk Island. It has now been 4 nights and and countless days into their sentence at Ocean Breeze Cottages.
The cache blocking guards informed the caching prisoner that solo day release had been approved for this day.
Heading up the western part of NI the prisoner came across this old rusted hulk. It appears to have seen better days and could not be revived for escape attempts.

Found after searching round and round. Picked after eyes saw it heading back to car. SL.TFTC
Parked nearby and made our way around to GZ where the container was soon spotted. All in good condition and TFTC endeavour3.

Time to head to Norfolk Island to celabrate our 70th birthdays. When we were here before we were not geocachers, this visit will be spent gathering geocaches and revisiting our favourite places. Our appologies for the generic logs it does not take away the enjoyment we have found in the fantastic places athey have been placed and all the different styles of caches that we are enjoying,

Found while heading over with the family to get some lunch over near Anson Bay, got quite a few caches and also BUCKETED down on with rain, despite the rain we still had an amazing time in this beautiful area.
Drove a bit past this one and walked back along the side of the road and went under the fence where the drain is. Quickly walked over to GZ where we had the cache in hand within 30 seconds.

With the Se Dun challenge in mind, we set off to clean up the west coast this morning, before a lunch at Anson Bay. The weather started off good, but soon the grey rolled in, then a few scattered showers, then some steady rain, so we ended up wet, but with 18 finds for the morning.
We parked and went under the fence, checked out the relics on our way. Cache and log in great shape... TFTC!

Enjoyed the old relics which otherwise would have missed if not for caching. TFTF
We climbed the style and made our way to GZ. Another nice solid cache.
That sure is an old relic nearby to remind us of the area’s past industry.
Thank you for the history lesson.

Spending the day caching around Norfolk Island between a few showers. We covered quite a bit of the island and traveled along many of the minor roads.
Thanks to the COs who have placed hides on the island as well as Endeavour3 who has many caches, as well as maintaining the caches of others.
Spotted the old machinery as well.
