What a beautiful spot!! Friends had bought me out here to show me a spot for photos they didn't think I knew about - which I didn't...we were about to leave and I said, I bet there's a geocache here, low and behold thanks for the hide
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country roads caching. Some interesting trees here, wonder if it was an orchard. Thanks for the hideLNCU
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. TFTC LNCU.
Oh what a lovely spot, must have been fabulous living in these forestry houses back in the day
Lovely day to be out caching in Mt Gambier. Love caching in the forests. Signed log GT. TFTC.
It is always hopefully just a few more caches, so that is what we did today along with ilook4geo. This one was a very easy find as we arrived at GZ and a couple more names were soon added to the log book. Everything was in good condition and was replaced as found. Thank you to mogni & Peter for this cache placement.
This was a nice easy find after getting to GZ with goingplaces2. Cache was retrieved, log was signed, all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
We found this cache well over 12 months ago, just found I had not logged it. Thanks for the Cache Mogni and Peter.
This is why I love caching. It takes me to places like this. How beautiful is this spot. We are marking a day in our diary to come back in the summer. Tftc.
What a great place you have bought us to today. The walnut tree had fruit but it is not time for them to be ripe sadly. We would love to know the full history of the home and property. SL TFTC
This weekend, I headed to the Limestone Coast / south-east for cave diving, but also to find a few geocaches when time allowed. It was only a quick weekend travelling to Mt Gambier via Bordertown on Friday, and returning Sunday via Millicent and Kingston. I was able to fit in a visit south to Port MacDonnell on Saturday, and a few other small detours around Mt Gambier.
Today, I returned back towards Adelaide, detouring through Glencoe, Mount Burr, Millicent, Furner, Kingston, but then back tracking towards Keith due to a grass fire cutting off the Coorong Road.
After driving past here and making a stop, I managed to find the cache after a short search. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. A really cool place, and interesting ruins! Thanks mogni & Peter for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A nice bit of history here, cache found and is okay
Today I decided to head cache around glencoe and Mount gambier for the day before heading to Millicent for an evening event. Despite the horrible weather I came away with 49finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

With the weekend weather looking very dodgy we decided it was time to head out for another day in the forest before the rain sets in. Great weather and great company for driving around the forests.

Warning this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.

Its a wonder I didn't get whiplash due to how quick me driver came to a halt to this one. A few nice words certainly came out me mouth. A lovely sight for a cache tho. TFTC SL
I came down with mogni to do cache maintenance on some of her caches in Mount Gambier and surrounds. quick find.
A friend recommended this spot for photos & Brandon spotted the geocache hidden. Our first find
This was our first ever adventure into Geocaching! We found it in the rail and hail. What a great experience! Hopefully the first of many to come. Thanks!

Headed over to the Mount for the Parkville event and grab a few finds to complete this months Souvenir challenge.
After some shopping in town with GeoGrrl we headed out this way for a patch of unfound caches and ended up bagging a total of 23 finds for the day this being the last one and was my favourite, great location.
Thanks Peter & mogni

Ruins! My Geocaching Partner loves ruins and was so distracted by these he had no care for the cache and got his camera out of the car and started focusing it on various aspects of the building.
While here we heard Black Cockatoos, whether they were Yellow-tailed or Red-tailed we were unable to determine here. Exciting spot, with a cache well hidden.

Another day caching with cabbos and earthlight. Plans were to head to Mount Gambier but being the typical cachers we are, we couldn't go past any unfounds and never made it to the Mount.
Decided to tackle this series after our lunch stop at Glencoe. A picturesque location.
Cache found quickly after spending a few minutes to take photos.

Today 3LG, Cabbos and I travelled down this road. What a fabulous ruin so close to the forest. We explored the area and located the cache. Trees at te bottom of the garden were in blossom. Would love to come back when trees are in fruit. A fav point today
Catching up with some late logs.
Out for a caching day with Super Pop we made a bit of a detour to pick up this little group of caches that were away from the crowds.
This was our first stop but unfortunately we were here at the wrong time of year and there was no sign of anything to snack on.
Even to old building would be hard to get into these days as the vegetation has sure taken over.
We checked a couple of likely hides before we were rewarded with a find and our names have now been added to the log.
Our thanks mogni and Peter for the cache.

Out caching with Team Crackers today and we were looking for a few caches around the Kalangadoo area away from the crowds. This cache was one of those that we enjoyed finding.

Found on a tour of the town with Mogni! Great weather and a fantastic part of the planet. Nice to have the cache CO of so many of the Mount caches with me on this occasion.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to mogni and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Out for an arvo of cache collecting, seeing our goal of 1000 in sight. Thanks for helping us there today. TFTC
Suscoe was enjoying a few days at Mount Gambier and surrounds this week leading up to Easter.
We experienced a strange but familiar pattern of weather with a storm last weekend, with hail, rain and strong winds and towards the end of the week we had calm and sunny days. Just like home.
Anyway, we enjoyed the caching, so many different locations and interesting hides.
Well done to all the cachers for the work done in creating and hiding their caches for us to find.
It was a stinker of a day, cold cold winds, rain and hail. Sunday was not the day to be out in the open for too long.
Thanks to mogni for this cache, we didn't see anyone else here today.

We ventured out caching again with Alansee and tried to do justice to all the great hides in the area. We enjoyed the forest tracks and scenery. We found a variety of hides and thanks to mogni for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Another cool spot. This is what I love about caching - no way we'd find these sorts of spots otherwise! Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc
A nice drive through the forest with Aussie M&M and CPWanderer.
We were also joined by the honeysuckers.
The grass was very high in some places, and it was getting warmer.
Thanks for bringing us here mogni

What a lovely spot. There were figs on the fig tree. I was being looked after, having fallen twice today, so CP, Clare and Garry made the find while I stayed near the vehicles. Thanks for bringing us here. A favourite for the destination.
I forgot to write this in my book, luckily I am copying CP's logs so I didn't miss out on logging this cache. Thanks for the caches mogni.
with the river rising we were told to go on holidays so what do you do.
Caching time.
Now we have wandered down towards Anglesea and found many other like minded people so the caching adventure grows stronger.
soon the event was over so the wandering continued
Thanks mogni for putting this cache out for us to find

Found on a run with Honeysucker, AussieM&M and clare007. We headed north of Mt Gambier to grab a few. The grass was incredibly tall in places ……………… real snake territory! I was very happy to have Honeysucker along as some of the tracks were still a bit boggy and I wouldn’t have attempted them without the second vehicle!!
Found on Sat 30th July 2016.
Another car parked nearby creeped us out a bit! Great spot!!

Lived locally for 15yrs and never knew this was here. Quick easy find for the geokids
Out for a night drive looking for some cool spots for photos, called in tonight as the place was busy with a photo shoot on the weekend. Forgot the gps but still managed to fluke a quick find by mistake while checking the surroundings out. Score, thanks for the hide.
Out & about with S-I-L doing some night time caching. He pulled up so I could have a good look at the ruins. I do like them & wonder what they would say if the walls could talk. TFTC mogni
decided to spend our quiet unplanned afternoon out looking for geocaches.

We found this one on our way down to the river for a get wet camping weekend!!! Tftc! Beautiful big trees!
We had just been to GeosonB football this morning with an awesome win might I add. We had nothing on for the rest of the day & seeing as it was a lovely sunny day & had been emailed all these new caches a few nights ago decided that today would be perfect for a few hours out in the sunshine. Think we should have started at the other end by the names of these caches. We had pulled up & walked over close to GZ when we saw another car pull up not far away. We had thought they must be doing what we are doing but never to sure so just playing around in the trees until they came close & said muggles! It was then we realised they were looking for exactly what we were. Was lovely meeting another cacher, doesn't happen too often. And wouldn't be a surprise with these being new & a lovely day. Quick & easy find today. TFTC
We came along the road and said we know exactly where it would be also that we hadn't noticed the building before. Nice easy find TFTC
Find number 7 of the day was a lovely old ruin to have a look around noticed that there was a bee hive in 1 of the chimneys geo kid had a ball doing these caches. TFTC
Caught out by EdHowAUS. Collected their pathtag. Nice to meet a fellow caching family. Tftc, tnln. We stayed a while to do a bit of detecting as well. Found a 1943 penny. Interesting place.30/04/2016, 1:36 PM Find #817
Took off a bit late in the day, so it was a race to find as many of mogni's new caches as we could before it got too dark.
We've been along this road before, and can't believe we have never spotted this great old ruin before. The trees are fantastic and it might be well worth a visit in fig season...
