I was walking past and noticed the spot was uncovered and no cache.
I found that it had been vandalised! A log sheet and few toys scattered about. The lid missing and the container cracked and empty.
Its such a shame that people do this. We now have one very sad little boy that was having so much fun hearing about people finding his cache, and checking in to see the changes and new figurines. The box was filled with toys, all now gone.
We may make a new cache in the future, but for now this one has come to a sad end

Well I saw three girls looking at phones. Hmm what can be happening here? Well 4 was better than 1 right? So we had success. Agree the terrain is more and kids would need to be really careful here.
Couldn't the first time it took me all morning to hunt for is. Then came with 2 hunters friends and found it
Came to hunt for this one today. I'm pretty sure that we had the right area for our search but once geohubby stood on a wobbly rock and fell, ouch!, it took the joy out of the hunt for us. We'll return another day though and make this a smilie. Are you sure the terrain is 1.5? Cheers tuxta2!
No luck a week ago but it was Monday night and I found myself in Nerang again.
No muggles or freaky cats tonight and it ended up being a pretty straightforward find when you are not being watched.
Thanks for the cache tuxta2. It is great to find these larger containers.
Cheers!!

I could't find this one. It was just a quick search as the area was very busy with muggles and dogs everywhere! I'll have to return when its quieter
I was in the area looking for caches and it was getting late in the afternoon and there was not too much daylight left.
The hint helped as the GPS had taken me some distance away. I soon had the cache uncovered and quickly signed the log and replaced it all as I could see muggles approaching.
TFTC.

I had just finished a Monday night fitness thing in Nerang and went in search of this one.
I had a torch and a jumper and the place was free of muggles. I shone the torch around at the GZ and a set of cat eyes shone back at me. They didn't move so I wondered if it was actually a real cat sitting up on top of all those rocks.
Meanwhile a bloke called Joshua and his dog turned up to sit by the river. "What are you up to?" he asked and I explained that this freaky looking cat was under the bridge. The cat eventually ran off and I went over to answer Joshua's next question of "What are you really doing?".
I told him about geocaching and he said he would give it a go one day. No find today. The cat and Joshua threw me into a loop and I ended searching the wrong spot. I will be back. Thanks for the hunt.

Well I timed this find just perfectly. I was dropping some movies off at Nerang this afternoon, so I took the opportunity to head around the corner. As I drove past GZ to hook a u-turn the car that was on the grass took off, leaving the parking spot vacant.
I pulled in and strolled on down the bank towards the water. Walkers and their dogs were coming from both directions but there ended up being a break in the traffic just as I arrived, sweet.
With the hint in mind it was a nice quick find. Without it, I could imagine I would have been here awhile. I retreated to the causeway to sign in by the water.
Good to see a nice big cache, cheers tuxta2

Checked the cache contents and location.
All good, still in the same spot, some extra figurines and the travel bug has moved on

Joint FTF with tinka75. We were searching for some time then tinka came along and 6 eyes were better than 4 and tinka spotted it first. Thanks for the cache!

Lots of muggles around. Trying to find a quiet moment when I spotted some other cachers looking.
Heaps of people don't look as suspicious as 1 right.
