To good for me thats 2 now..loads of rubbish in the trees and the fence line has had a good going over
Too good for us today, will have to collect next time we are in the area! Maybe our eyes weren’t tuned in properly - will watch to see when next found.
Dnf! Next time hopefully! Dad got a bee sting. There's a lot of clovers, so pls be careful!
I was spending a .couple of day visiting friends and geo caching around hastings and set out early to locate some of the cache around about here before going on the St george's trail .
Thank you for this cache . i took nothing and left nothing. this cache deserves a fav point from me. as it looks just so nonchantly there!

I did this cache a while back and after getting a hand injury which has made typing difficult I have fallen very far behind on my logs sorry. Doing my best to catch up now.
Got quite a few puzzles and time to get some trads - had a casual eye on FPs that caches had got and saw this one was popular so came for a look.
I didn't get too up close and personal on this one but I did suggest to my travelling companions my theory for the location of the cache once a few other spots were eliminated. Clever hide here and well executed. Trickier than a D1.5 in my opinion - could give beginners a good challenge I think but well worth the effort to visit and find.
Well done - enjoyed this one thanks.

In Napier for a caching weekend with Tuolei. After grabbing a solved puzzle in the area we noticed this one and decided to swing by. So glad we did - what a clever little hide that took us a few minutes to find. We were hesitant about going through the fence but after reading a few previous logs Mr. B. went in to check out something that Tuolei suggested and the cache was in hand. Wondering if the D rating should be slightly higher though, this is definitely more tricky than a 1.5!
Thanks for a fun find!
Thanks for a fun find!
got close but not obvious despite looking and poking around. lots of sports players around so left before being sussed of loitering
We set out some days ago on a glorious late summer day for a few days holiday - heading first for Taupo and then onto Napier and back home. We hope to fit in a leisurely amount of geocaching, and as we’ll stay with muggle family some of the time we’ll be focused on them rather than caching.
Day 5 and after a rainy night we have another good fine caching day.
We had tried unsuccessfully for this one a couple of days ago, but Mr G had thought about it more and had decided where it must be, so after doing “In a Roundabout Way” we stopped in here, and he was right. This is a clever, devious hide which we’ll give a fav but we are quite doubtful of its location behind a high fence and locked gate - obviously not allowing public access.

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
This was the seventy ninth of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Very nice hide and well concealed
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.
Once we went through the fence the find was much easier. A nicely hidden cache, well constructed.

Although we were a bit doubtful about going through the fence, clearly this was necessary, and it didn't take too long to discover this very cleverly hidden cache, which of course gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Sadly a DNF for this one. With no clue, all I had was previous logs. After a bit of searching, I then saw that you have to go through a fence. Still no sign of it behind the fence and if that is where the cache is hidden, it shouldn't be there as the fence is supposed to keep us out. Reporting as missing to give the CO a chance to move it.
Found between showers while in Hastings for the day. Very good hide, FP. Thanks mrBmrsP for the cache.
got up at 4.30am this morning to leave by 5.30am traffic at this time was almost nil great time to travel. have been wanting to grab some caches over here for the hidden creatures, this looked like the only place that didn't have rain didnt manage the amount I wanted but, turned out to be a lovely day and got home around 6pm thanks to all the COs who have taken the time to place and maintain the caches
this one gets a fav from me very well done

Great cache. Felt a bit strange going through a fence, however, its design is half hearted about keeping people out. Did this at night, so no worries about muggles spotting us. TFTC
Loved the creativity.
A bit concerned though that this now looks to permanently be in a place that one is NOT meant to have public access to.

My favourite find for the day. Thanks to a previous log I was able to find this one. TFTC
What a lovely day to finish up at work for the day and head to Napier getting a few caches along the way of course this was the last cache for the day before heading to the Napier event for a meal and a few drinks and a lot of geocaching chit chat by all. This one was not quite where we expected but followed the GPS to get us to ground zero, a nice find here behind fences etc. signed the log and placed the cache back as found. Thank you for placing a cache here and for the little adventure it took me on. there could be an easier way but as i'm not from the area I got there best I could. TFTC Happy caching
Not sure which fence was in the way and couldn't find a hiding place that I could reach.
A few days away over Easter and pleased to find some caches in this area.
Soon had it found and log signed. TFTC - very nicely done.

very clever hide, i went with someone who had found it previously, but now there is a great big fence in front of the cache. got pointed in the right direction, snuck through the fence and retrieved cache. TFTC
The first time I looked for this cache, it was rather busy with muggles, today was no better but soon had log signed and returned without any hassle. Very cleaver hide. Gets a favorite tick.
The place is awesome. This cache is awesome... really awesome the best cache yet. Very creative.

Travelling back from Gisborne to Feilding after attending a meeting in Gizzy last night. Making good time, so I'm able to collect a few "must do" caches in Napier on the way back. I've heard rumours about the excellent roundabout caches, and only managed to pick up the St Nick's Grotto cache on my last visit to Napier.
Having completed two roundabout caches on the way through Hawke's Bay, I pulled off the highway for a short detour before attempting the next roundabout. Thought I'd found the camo'd item, but the cache sized hole was empty. I hoped I was wrong, so took a closer look and found something that needed further investigation. Gingerly prised it apart (I've been wrong in the past!) and was delighted to find the log tucked away inside. Excellent camp. Giving it a favourite point. TFTC

About to give up then had a think, connect the dots and there it was, love it, tftc
Hehe nice cache! Found today with my two girls. Very cold and windy today so not many people around. Thanks for the thought and effort put into this cache, another great addition to the series. Tftc
Spotted this one as we approached the GZ. Cleaver hide in a busy area. Had to wait for a few walkers to go past before we could grab it. Fav point from us. TFTC
We spotted this cache as we approached gz. A very cool idea! We thoroughly inspected all parts while locating the log - all is fine lol! Another great cache in the series. We look forward to more!
A very cool cache. As usual we love the mighty micro series. We arrived and stared a little at the area before engaging our geocaching brains and locating the cache. The thought and effort is amazing. TFTC!
Internet was playing up at work today, and I was struggling to get anything done, so I decided to head out and do something I enjoy instead... finding bchefj@p caches!
This particular cache, unlike the previous one I had done, was quickly spotted. getting it out did have me confused for a few seconds, but we got there in the end.
A nice hide in this busy area. this is an idea I had contemplated doing myself, but not got around to, so it was nice to be a finder this time.
TFTC. I look forward to your next.
Find number 800 for me!

A fun cache We arrived and cracked up. A great idea. This is very close to Mr JPs Grandparents house so we know this area very well. Glad we came at a quiet time as we are often here for sporting events when the place is really busy. Fav point for the inventiveness and making us laugh. [FTF]
