any update on this one, would love to be able to try again if they have finished building in the area
Having a look to see if I have too remove this one and relocate. Sorry for the delay and inconvenience
thought I might get a sneaky hunt in, turns out the builders were working today so had to leave it
Looks like a new build here has gotten rid of the retaining wall. Might need to check this one.
Cache is still there. Will update with a photo showing a path to the cache. As buildings appear to be being built on the left hand side of the small reserve. Sticking to the right hand side of the path at the end of bullmore place will get you to the cache easier and most probably faster.
This is a great place ...sadly I did not have too much time to appreciate it...looks like a lot of revamping going on survy pegs etc thanks N8t3n42 for a great placement and cache...cache is in great condition
Managed to dodge the tape aa no one working here today. Lovely peaceful spot compared with other suspect spots nearby. Very interesting area. Thanks for the placement N8t3n42.
We managed to find our way in after a wrong turn lol. Lovely spot and quick find of the cache. Log signed b&p. Find number 4245.
Thanks for the cache N8t3n42.
Thanks for the cache N8t3n42.
These type of hides are always contentious but providing a clear hint is the way to go. I'd love to know more about the history of this place. What are those two concrete pillars? Anyway, great hide and worth a favourite if I've got any left. TFTC.
Access is still available thru two other points of entry . I will update with a picture showing access. Thanks for the patients guys.
Oops almost gave up the search good thing kids have beady eyes like magpies... Ahoy treasure yeah thanks for the picturesque views
Today, It being a non-shopping day, along with the fact that we were meant to be 200kms away out East Cape (but weren't due to the weather at the end of last week), we spent the day collecting a few caches around Rotorua to see a bit of different countryside and make the most of the fine weather that had come out to play.
Setting off from home at 6.30am (nice early start with the good wife) and a quiet drive over here. So it was a concentration on caches we could get to, that weren't roped off as the lake level was too high, and only involved a short walk, as didn't want to leave "wifey" with the car too long as she might leave without me and say "Bugger You" and the caches.
Managed to grab 27 of 27 today which was more than happy as it has left enough to come back to in the future. This was the seventh of the day and a nice quick find following some breakfast at the "Fat Dog". Nice cache, well hidden.
Although did get myself in the poo by offering to stop for antiques at Tirau on the way back [^], but then informed that as its Easter Sunday all shops are closed and that is the only reason I would offer to stop for a shop, as if
Thanks for the placement and bringing me to this location

Beautiful little spot but couldn't find looked everywhere, couldn't find triangle stone reference point hope to return soon hope for better luck kids loved it
What a cool area! Lovely place. Will have to come back here another time! Relatively quick find. Log in good condition. TFTC
On a quick cache hunt with georunnermatt, we will definitely return in the day tune as its a beautiful area. Tftc
Walked down through the gardens and found the correct spot. I placed a new log book in a plastic paper bag in the spot described by the hint. TFTC
someone has taken the cache away from its spot. As the owner i now have to go and replace the cache.
We found the hint item but no cache today. A gorgeous spot that we enjoyed exploring
Enjoyed the walk around the area. A lot of work has gone into it. Pity I could not find the cache. Was sure I found its spot but no one was home. A good excuse to come back another day.
04/08/16 13:20 Dot Day. A wonderful place, best suited for a daytime find, unless of course it is 'all about the numbers'. I really enjoyed the stroll around today, despite the rain, and do wonder who owns and maintains the place. It looks like it was a private garden before the surrounding area was subdivided. I came in at end of Rimuvale St. Thanks for showing us 'cachers this wee gem. Cheers, GC.
This is what we love about caching, being lead to places we would never have known about otherwise. We finally found an entrance that didn't look like private property and followed our way wetly beside the stream/ponds. The pukeko sure love this spot! There were flocks of them!
We went too far as the phone froze, but eventually got to where we were meant to be and, thanks to the explicit hint, we soon had the cache in hand.
A fav for the setting and the fun hide.

Nice sunny day to be out riynding up some local caches. Pukekos enjoying the sun as well. Tftc
What a beautiful area - totally enjoyed the walk to the cache and luckily put my hand on the cache straight away. Thought I would carry on and return to my car but somehow got turned around and realised that my car was not where I thought. Had to turn the GPS onto back track to get out - lots of fun
What a beautiful park we not been here before.TFTC A favorite from us for bringing us here.
3pm - Bit of a search to find best way to approach this cache. Once on right path soon arrived near cache. Quick read of description & hint and spotted its hide. SLTFTC
We finished our staff meeting late and I was looking for something to take my mind off from work... I made a quick decision to find a cache before heading home, and this was the best option.
I arrived in the area as darkness was falling. It took a moment to find the way into ground zone, but I managed without getting lost in the night. I admit, it took ages to search the myriad of possibilities, and then to triple check each one. I was beginning to feel as though I'd never find the cache, so I sent out a PAF. I didn't get an immediate response, so I continued to search and found the hide, just as my phone began to ring... What a well hidden container, though I made it harder by coming to search in the dark. TFTC.

The cache is there. The cords are just off the mark. Search along the wall under the berry bush.
This is one of the unknown gems, which geocaching on occasions delivers.
Thanks N8t3n42.
Thanks N8t3n42.
Couldn't find it tonight, spent a little while there, unfortunately I might miss out on ftf, will be back tomorrow during daylight. From what I could see with my torch, this seems like a very nice quiet spot, and sounds nice too.
