Quick, easy find with Willywombat27, sorry for late post.Inside of box very wet, dried with paper towels as best as I could.
Cache really wet on the inside. Aussiejan is well prepared and has a small plastic bag to keep the log dry.TFTC
A quick find but again no log book in there. As proof of the find I can say that there was a black rock in there and two shells and a lot of water!! Drained the water and could have added a sheet of paper but as I had no zip lock bag to put it in it would have just become a sodden mess. Time for the CO's to check some in this series out.
Last day on the Bellarine Peninsula. Even though storms have left the whole area very wet, there is still time to collect a few more geocaches. Off early just before the dawn, but no change of seeing the sunrise, so I didn't worry about getting to a gemreat beach location to watch the sun rise this time.Found completely full of water and no log. Thanks for the cache, Nik Lib Steph.Hunter
Out and about caching around St Leonards today with my son, was chasing 20 caches today but a few DNFs put a dint in that total we came up with 16 in the end. Some great designs and a travel bug motel to boot. Second DNF for the day. Looks like there has been some cutting down trees in the area, hope this hasn't effected the cache.
Maintenance check. Container dry, log in tact, but slightly damp and half full so have replaced. Added a silica sachet to help with dampness moving forward.
Happy hunting!
Happy hunting!

Hi there NikLibSteph,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (more's the pity), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please **post a Write Note log every 4 to 6 weeks,** so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

After a huge inaugural Great Victorian Cache Crawl yesterday with well over 100 cachers joining the crawl throughout the day, it was time for a more leisurely caching journey today on the way back to Melbourne.
Another cool cache in this CFA related series.
Thanks NikLibSteph for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Found, don’t understand how the log is in the cache item, was full of rusty water and couldn’t find a way into the item
Checked in on this one today.
Cache container and log all present and accounted for.
Container was a little water logged, but all cleared out now.
Reminder for future cachers - don't let your eyes deceive you when looking for the log. Look closer at the item inside the container.......

Ok we found the cache with the themed item inside. Not sure how we are supposed to get the log book out of it though. Is there something missing I wonder?? I took a photo as proof
Merry Christmas! Found on Xmas morning before going to lunch with the family. This one took a bit of time to find but only because the GPS was playing up a bit. Lovely location by the beach. The inside of the outer container is a bit wet and dirty but the log is nice and dry. TFTC!
Out caching this lovely sunny day out cleaning up the Geeling area a bit with Biggles and Stemicmitsar. Searching for the usual hit caches and other odds and ends along the way
Thanks for the cache and being part of a good day out today.

*Cache find # 11931.*
Today I headed over to Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula with biggles1024 & buhfuhguh for a bit of caching fun and adventure.
After a bit of a walk to Edwards Point and back, we were now heading to St Leonards and beyond, this was one we found along the way.
Once we were at GZ, it wasn't long before the cache was found, log signed and we were on our way to the next.
**Thanks to NikLibSteph for placing this cache.**

Think might have bern washed away, new plantings and dead tree where supposed to be?
Easy almost too easy but quick find with Donutholes adding to our tally. TFTC
This cache was almost on the path, so very easy to find. Put it back in the bushes abit. TFTC
Well... it was an easy find with a fantastic surprise inside, unfortunately we were watched while grabbing it, so we tried to be as sneaky as possible to rehide it.
Great location and an even better story. Sounds like a tall pub yarn that has made its way into legend.
It is a stunning day today on the Bellarine and Dan has just announced that we will be able to venture beyond the 5km. limit, so we decided to celebrate by reading out and snagging a few caches in the glorious sunshine. Normally at its time of year, the areas these caches are in would be swarming with muggles on a day like today, but wee only saw a few other people, most of them were swimming. The third cache was a pretty quick find, this time as the GPS was far more accurate and we were searching in the correct area, unlike our last attempt. Great to turn a DNF into a smiley. We opened the case, and there was no log book, and we did not have a spare with us, so we are signing digitally by taking a photo with the themed object that is resident in the cache. Thank you for this cache NikLibSteph
Found on my nightly walk. Tricky spot that took some circling till saw from an angle. Thanks.
This was actually really hard to find. Almost gave up but had one last look and spotted it in a not very obvious location. Nice hide.
Maintenance run.
Cache replaced. Hopefully this one won't be a victim of landscaping again. Happy hunting

Checked on this and it appears it has been the victim of recent landscaping.
Will endeavour to replace shortly.
Will endeavour to replace shortly.
Will endeavour to check on this in the next week or so, once the weather and muggles clear.

Hi NikLibSteph,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed, as well as to remove it from search listings.
Please note that CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't always just pop out and fix the issue. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain will not be archived.
#What should you do:-#
- Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
#Please Note#
When I next check on the cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, the cache will most likely be de-listed (Archived).

We parked the car as close as possible to provide some screening from passers by as we searched but had no luck.
After an extended Covid lockdown which included 2 weeks in hotel quarantine, I was glad to get out onto the tracks again with a good mate. Today was a 22km walk from Portarlington to St Leonards and back.
First caching attempt of the day was here, and my DNF streak on this series (that started in 2017) continues.
Thanks anyway, NikLibSteph.
(Please note this is a late log - I notice the cache had actually been missing at the time and has subsequently been replaced.)

We looked in several places and expanded from the 0m point to 20m either way. Couldn't find it though.
Another in our series of dnfs on this one. Needed the legendary over the road neighbour to assist us. Phoning a friend didn't help. Assurance from the co didn't help. Have inspected the big bush many times. Would have happily incinerated it today, but currently lighting fires is not a wise move. Read past logs but that only added to the confusion. PAF suggested a nearby tree, humph, would have happily chopped that down, but again not politically correct. Flying platypus' coords suggested next tree along, but by this stage my destructive urges were waning. PAF , a local, had invited us for a cup of tea, so we spat the dummy and left. Sort of thanks.
Cache maintenance.
Have resolved the '2 caches in the same place' issue.
Current coordinates are correct, second cache removed from play.
Log book replaced, although not quite how we would have liked.
Happy hunting

Found a second one in the same location...one round container and one rectangular one!
Found! With the help of the people across the road! Cache 15meters away from position. Needs log maintenance. Great find! Thanks
Found it on a day out with the Niece much to horror of her father she loves it.

A little hint around GZ and the cache was in hand! Nicely hidden. Getting there on my mission to put smileys all over indented heads. Tftc
We had missed finding this cache a few years ago even with the assistance of a geocaching tradie working on a property across the road. Back again today to try again. There were a group of muggles not far from GZ and I initially started searching in the spot indicated by the GOS device. However there was a call from across the road indicating where the cache was. So we refocused our search and quickly discovered it in the area we had thoroughly searched previously. I don't know how we could have missed it. But all good in the end. TFTC
