I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi ReeGeorge
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Not sure how accurate my GPS was but I was feeling far too dodgy to give this a go alone... Really need to bring some kids along to eliminate all dodgyness
First DNF for today.
It was pretty clear from the hint and previous logs where the cache must be hidden. Still I couldn't locate it.
Found lots of empty cans. Inspected lots of possible hiding spaces. Stopped when I moved further away from the stairs and the plants got thicker.
It's either gone or really deep down.

Thought I’d try my luck even though it hasn’t been found in awhile. Couldnt find it either and had a good hunt through the plants.
A bit sad not to find this one today - must have had a case of cache blindness! I'll be back another time....
21 January 2022 14:04. Hardest part was working out how to drive to this one. Tftc ReeGeorge, LucaGeorge.
#10,718. We had headed over to this side of town to do the St Heliers Adventure Lab. We were slowly making our way back to the highway but stopped to get a cold drink. But the shop was shut. So checked the GPS and saw this cache not far way. After we agreed on how to approach it we realised upon arrival we had made the right choice. A short stroll and IF soon plucked the cache from its hiding spot. Signed the logbook and replaced the container where found and off we went back to the car. Thanks ReeGeorge, LucaGeorge for hiding it here.
Great cache! Easy find thanks to the specific hint. Lots of fun for my daughter. Tftc.
Labour Weekend 2021 caching day with lumin298.
It was actually a MEGA ̶2̶0̶2̶0̶ - 2021 (postponed) weekend in Auckland.
Great , user friendly hint gave us almost an instant find.
We saw a big rat near GZ too!

Had to put my hand through a few cob webs but found it quick! Thanks for the cache.
Ha ha - thanks to my son Luis for navigating us to the right spot! Good hiding. Our first cache!
Out exploring the local area and picking up a few caches with cragger and laval.
Nice quick find and glad there were no muggles in the local house.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
I was vary wary of how close this one was to the houses but luckily I found it fairly quickly so I could leave quickly to avoid detection, TFTC!
We parked in the nearby culdesac and made our way up the path towards gz. It wasn't long before we spotted something of interest and on closer inspection we had the cache in hand. TFTC
Nice cache George family! Nice morning for grabbing a number of caches and this was our first stop.
Happy Auckland Anniversary weekend!
Happy Auckland Anniversary weekend!
Yay! Our first find! Made more special because we know the cachers! Thanks guys...that was fun! Hugo found a toy and left it there! Lulu signed the log but it was a bit damp! Great hiding place!
On an afternoon hikoi with the family. First eyes were on the cache by one of the younger out of towners, well done to them! Cache a little damp but able to record all names in the log. TFTC!!
We headed over towards Glen Innes this morning to go caching as we wanted to boost our finds on this calendar date. Parked nearby and spotted the cache immediately on arriving at GZ. Thanks.
I'm back in Auckland again, for one of my regular visits. On these occasions, Friday mornings usually finds me sitting with a coffee and my laptop, thinking about where I might drive to today to do a bit of caching.
Well no sooner than I'd powered the laptop up, I find an interesting post asking for help with a joint effort to grab a cache at Bastion Point. As it turns out, I'm not very far away from GZ so I jump in the car and zoom off to make the search. That was a the start of a bit of a mini-hunt for me this morning, as having found that one, and being in a part of Auckland I hadn't previously visited as a Geocacher, I wonder what other ones were around here?
This one was on my way back to base, so it was an easy park up and walk to GZ. It was a relatively straightforward find, courtesy of a good Hint. The container and logbook were in fine condition, so it was a quick sign and then everything was replaced exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

had a meeting in the area which ran a bit long. This resulted in a night find for me - 11:00PM. After I finally found the entrance, cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Came up the new bike track before making a short diversion over here. Nice quick find, cheers
I had some spare time to look for a few caches before my work meetings began not too far from here. On approach, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get to the cache as there was a barrier and a sign saying the walkway was closed. Not sure why. I checked it out and as the cache was only a few metres up the path went past the barrier and found the cache after a short search. The mystery of the closed walkway remains unsolved. TFTC, Biggles.
Mum was in Auckland for work, and had a dot day that she wanted to fill. At her last work visit, the sky opened and visibility reduced - she wasn't looking forward to going back to the car, let alone finding a cache! By the time she wrapped up at the end of the visit, the sun had come out - yay.
This cache was on the way back to the motel, and looked close to the road... She read the blurb, parked on yellow lines

With a hard fought puzzle to claim in the area and a dot day to fill we braved the weather and decided to drop by this one as well. Can say that cache is in good condition and exactly where it should be - ready to be claimed. TFTC.
Found, but not retrieved, i dont know if it was my fault, but i can't see how the cache can be retrieved currently
We parked in St Heliers Bay Road and made the short walk to GZ.
There were a lot of voices coming from many of the nearby back yards but fortunately no one was looking at the walkway and we were able to find the cache undetected.
We loved this hide, a lot of nice swag inside, a bright and happy log book and a well labeled container, we can see a lot of effort has gone into this.
Thanks for a great hide.
