A lumpaili teda dost. Cel sever jsem nevidla a i v ostatnch stech ostrova mi zbyla msta, kam bych se jet chtla podvat.I slept today in a nearby bizarre hotel Otira Stagecoach Hotel and in the morning I set off for a mountain ride on the Grand Alpine Hwy. It was beautiful sunny weather and I really enjoyed the trip with views, caches and a few walks. I was also very amused by the Kea parrots, which take care of the entertainment of tourists in Arthurs Pass at the caf. I found a total of 40 caches and in the evening I arrived in Christchurch, from where I am leaving tomorrow for the North Island. Thanks to everyone for the caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
We are visiting from the state of Washington in the US. We spent last night in Greymouth. Today, we are driving over the mountains to Christchurch. It is raining very hard. We stopped in the village for a rest. Decided to look for this cache. We got a bit wet. But made the find. Thanks for the hide.
I don't know if it was Christy but a kea stole my travelling companion's bag of peanuts as we had lunch across the road. I popped over to this site afterwards to see if I could find the cache. At first it was looking like being a fail but a widening of my search area produced the desired result. TFTC, Couper4.
Big hiking day today: first up and down Avalanche Peak, suberb track & views! Placed a cache at the summit there, should be published soon. Then a few more hours in and around the village. Very enjoyable day!Took me a while cause there are 3 tree stumps near gz and my gps led me to all of them at some point. Eventually located and found, tftc!
Found with Piwaka54 after a lovely overnight stop. So many Kea trying to steal our food. One took off with a ladies pie! Not good for the kea but a sight nevertheless!
Lovely little find on our walk to the Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall cute little post office
Quick stop at the cafe, no keas, but it's a gorgeous day, and I'm loving the spectacular mountain scenery. Also nabbed a book from the nearby free library. Thanks for the excellent cache! Visiting from New Mexico, USA.

After years on our bucket list and three cancellations due to Covid, we are thrilled to finally be here. Following several cruises we flew from Sydney, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand to begin our next adventure. Picked up our rental vehicle and will be driving, exploring, hiking, and caching both islands for 3.5 weeks. It was raining pretty heavy, along with a blustery wind, but we had umbrellas so we kept caching. Good coordinates led us to the container and soon our ink was on the log. Thanks for adding to our adventure today, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl, Arkansas, USA
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. After 7 weeks driving around through Australia we arrived the 2th November in New Zealand. For ten days we will cross the Northern Island and than for 2 weeks the Southern Island.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case Couper4, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
After traveling around Australia with Oopie for 7 weeks, we have now been traveling with the camper in New Zealand for 4 weeks. Along the way we will of course also visit various types of caches in beautiful places, including this one. Thanks CO for creating and laying this cache.
I found this geocache today and signed the logbook. Thanks for this cache and it's maintaining.
Great birds, these keas. We crossed the pass from the west coast and found a fantastic campsite in perfect weather.
Going to the West Coast with friends for the week-end. They don't geocache a lot, but it was a good side trip whilst the parents were getting some tea/coffee. Interesting post office. Found, using the hints in the third hint objects, there are more than one around, but probably no more than 3 The child who found it was really happy but then went on for the snowball fight with others. Both container and logbook were in good condition. Thanks.
Took a wander through the village on our way from west to east coast this morning. TFTC
On our way back over Arthur’s Pass we called in here. After waiting until she was out of sight of the lady checking her postbox, and occupants of cars stopping at the cafe across the road, Mrs nzk made a quick find. All good here, TFTC Couper4.
We stopped here on the way to ChCh for a maintenance daytrip to replace the full log.
Just as we got in the car 2kea flew over to have a noisy and see if we would offer them anything to eat. Please DO NOT FEED THEM. All good here again.

Tried earlier in the day for this, but there were too many muggles. Came back after having dinner at the Bearly Hotel (because every other place that sold food was shut!). Found with Panda Dundee. TFTC
Arrived to Arthurs Pass just after lunch, after checking into our accommodation we hit some geocaches! Found this one initially but could retrieve at the time due ro high muggle activity.
Carried on caching throughout the area. Went dinner at the Bealy Hotel, was 100% worth the drive out there! Gret atmosphere and food! The jug of cider went down well also!
Minergal went back around 7pmish, nobody around, no muggles! Cache signed! TFTC
