Out and about early this morning to pick up a few caches before heading to a gig at Riverstage in the arvo. Made my way to the south side and quickly made my way to ground zero, where it didnt take long to locate the prize.Log extracted and signed. Replaced safely and off on the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Crew 153 [^]
Visiting from NZ and using the opportunity to find enough caches to earn the Cosmic souvenir.Decided to attempt the Glider Forest Trails today and maybe a few extras as well. Ended up doing a 16.5 km walk over five and a half hours and finding 41 out of 41. Very pleased that all the caches were in place and able to be found. This one was a bag only, held down with a rock weight. Probably due for some maintenance. Thx to the COs for placing all these caches.
Out finding a few caches with Richmond Lad. An enjoyable stroll around The Sergeant Dan Stiller Memorial Reserve. Lucky for us, the threatening rain held off for our walk. This cache was quickly located and our names added to the log. TFTC
Out and about caching today with overcast sky above. Hope it doesn't rain while we are out caching - it didn't! Caching with joojoo57 and Selva Girls. Great walk around and cache found. TFTC
Luck was on our side today as we did the walk along the fire trails - the rain held off while we searched along the trails! Been a while since I have been in this area. Thanks Crew153 for maintaining these caches.
Having recently acquired a geo-bike, I thought I would test it out in this area.. and boy oh boy having 2 wheels makes things so much quicker than on 2 feet.. only catch is can't bring the geo-pup but that's ok...Ahhh.. seems this cache needs some maintenance.. "cache" - ie. bag was found with a big of wood in it to hold it down. Log was signed and bag replaced. Unfortunately I did not have a container in my car to replace this with.Next finder please replace or maybe the CO can pop on over. Thanks for the cache.#829
Thought it was about time I finished this series, lol.. did not sign as log was wet and yucky.. no spares sorry.. TFTC
Checked comments and dnf around the tree. There was a ziplock bag that I wasnt game to open
Caching with RoddyC and imbunda.I wonder if this was what it should be. Plastic bag no hard covering.TFTCache ODST501 (adopted by Crew 153)
A friend offered to carpool my kids this afternoon which left me with a few spare hours. I swung by and picked up elina_maree and we headed for SDSMR.
After the first looped we determined there was still enough light and headed off on another track for a few more caches. Another easy find here. No container, just a bag. But it seemed dry enough so we replaced as is. Amused and confused by the Halo story. It probably doesn’t help that we found them out of order. TFTC!

Not sure if there is supposed to be a container but the cache is currently a zip lock bag at the GZ. Might need a visit but TFTC
My phone had me switching to both sides of the track, but from the hint I much preferred one side. My first search turned up nothing so I continued searching both sides. Returning to the logically spot I took a second look. I had previously noted some rubbish a little way from where I considered the logical hide to be. On closer examination I discovered the rubbish to actually be the cache. I’ve signed the log & replaced the cache with plenty of camo. I hope it survives. TFTC
A nice quick find but unfortunately, no container here just a bag with a log and swaps. Thanks Crew 153
A very popular picnic area we passed through on the way to this cache . The kids were having a wonderful time. TFTC
No Covenant soldiers pursuing us here, making for a quick find in the obvious spot at GZ. Thanks to the previous finders who put a new log sheet in. I’m finding it a bit strange looking at the industrial infrastructure to my right after having seen nothing but beautiful bushland all morning. TFTC, Crew 153. =^.^=
19/2/2023 Find #5725
Pprime and I decided on a day of adventure. The initial plan of kayaking was given the hoy as those who organised it pulled out and I decided my back was currently not up to it. So targeting some Crew153 caches would certainly fit the bill, and give us a good walk to boot. And it also meant Pprime could drive Missi over to the Southside, as he was desperate to get out with her.
The last cache of the journey for us today, we were glad to be at the end with the heat kicking in. A quick find in the front when we expected the hide to be at the back.
Now time to hit the trail and get back to the car and it’s aircon.
Thanks for the cache ODST501, and for its maintenance Crew 153.

A nice morning's walk in the park with criminal-partner-in-chef 1MinnieMoo. Good to get some fresh air and for a change it wasn't too too hot until the end. This was last, a quick easy find to mark a lovely morning out. Thanks for the series.
Thanks ODST501 (adopted by Crew 153) for entertaining me at this location.

Wow what a day or afternoon of caching it was, that heat just hit me very unexpectedly, I did not think it was that hot, but it was very draining by the end of the day.
So I meet up with Duppers and Shazza66 for a bike ride around the Sergeant Dan Stiller Memorial Reserve. With a 12.30 start, the shade around from the reserve, only 14 caches to get, us on bikes, I really thought it would not take that long. However, by the last 4 caches we were starting to feel it, we worked our way back to the cars for a break and then finished the remainder, it did take its toll on us. With the girls on ebikes and me on the trek, I felt a little inadequate, but I managed to keep it up for the whole time. We had a lot of fun and I always love going out and having a laugh with these two, usually at my expense. We had a little turn around at one spot and a bush bash on a supposed groomed trail, but otherwise the trails and caches were in good condition.
Thanks for the cache here, we signed the log and replaced all as found, all good with this one.

After completing our 10 target caches at Kuraby Bushlands, Shazzar66 and I met up with our old mate Chamad to tick off the caches at Sgt Dan Stiller Memorial Reserve. After parking and working out our plan of attack, this was our first cache. Quick and easy find here.
When we saw the cache location we thought we would be in for a quick search. There wasn’t much to look around and there wasn’t much to find. We grabbed some sticks and started digging and we were either going to find a cache, a vein of uranium or a sacred burial site. Either way we were going to get our names in the paper.
We walked back onto the path deflated and we’re about to walk away when we decided to have a last look at places where the cache shouldn’t be.
We somehow found it in some grass about 5 metres away from where it was supposed to be. Seeing we had dug a moat around the tree looking for it there was nowhere to hide it except under the one bush in front of the tree. tftc

I didn't need to pull out the GPS as I remembered where the cache wasn't last time I was here. I walked straight up to it for a quick find. Left a trackable. Thanks for the cache
Bear with me. I have not forgotten this cache. I will get around to replacing it.

Myself, Absurd Aussie and the Geokid searched high and low, in the long grass and otherwise, but came up empty. We even had my mom, wethreesisters, searching along with us via video call from Canada.sff. Nothing. Will have to take a frown on this one.
Looked around for 45. Msgd the CO. No response. We'll come back when we have a full day to look.
