I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
After the previous log by an expert cacher I wasn't hopeful here.
No luck for me either, there are signs that some tidying up has been done around here. On the way back I spotted a rubbish bag full of aluminium cans etc that looked like someone was intending to collect it so I wonder if the cache may have been mistakenly removed. I certainly wasn't willing to hunt through the bag to see if the cache was among the trash!
But thanks anyway for taking me to this nice hidden spot, if I do find the cache in future it will be worth a favorite point.
I was grateful for the helpful directions as I could well have gone astray otherwise.
A bit premature to log a NM at this stage but it might be worth the COs taking a look.
Was hoping to investigate the library but it has very limited and unusual hours and wasn't open till later in the day today. So if you want to pop in check the hours online or in the window first!

Thanks CO for your prompt attention. As I was arrived and was returning by train and on foot there was no way I could CITO the bag!
This appears to have gone walkabout. Had a good look around and rummaged through the rubbish bag not far away, but no luck. I removed the rubbish bag and will replace the cache when I'm able to. Thanks!
A new area for me. Took a while to spot the cache as phone GPS coordinates weren't very accurate. TFTC
Great spot thanks. Cache super wet, book wet. Replacement log page is ok though. Cheers.
I came up the coast today to boost my numbers for September.
I parked up next to the library and wandered over until I spotted the trail. I spied what was left of the pallet bridge so I knew not to go that way. Quite a pleasant stroll, despite it being wet. Reached the GZ and spent a bit of time looking around before eventually spying the cache. A bit wet on the inside, but still serviceable. TFTC

Nice walk and drier than I thought it would be after the rain. Only read instructions after we had crossed the pallet bridge and ended up back on a road. Easily fixed and a great view. Thanks
Secret path indeed, but some stunning views. Log book is an unusable soggy mess, so added a temporary bit of paper. TFTC.
Found lying exposed with lid off and full of water, eptied and rehid but need new logbook.
Visited with 4YO 8YO and 12YO. What a great spot! We've visited the playground before but didn't realise this trail was here. Cache was quickly spotted by the 12YO. Decent size with some nice loot. 4YO traded in a key ring for a sparkly butterfly. TFTC
Visited this little hidden away enclave of native beauty today. Did so with team geocacher zboy wonder.
Made a straightforward find once we got to GZ. All in order. True to coords, description and hint.
Log signed, then cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC
The Turtle strikes again!

Definitely a secret trail! Beautiful walk through the bush to an easy find, thanks
nice easy find thanks to the helpful description, another undiscovered part of Pukerua Bay that we enjoyed today
A beautiful day on Kapiti Coast.
Lots of trees, but found quickly.
Cache in good order.
Thanks

Found on an afternoon's visit to Pukerua Bay. Quickly arrived at GZ but couldn't find the cache. Revisited a previously searched area and bingo - there it was. A nice "V" shaped view of the ocean.
Cache # 3,621 - A lovely little walk today after the rain and before the heat. Did with Astro Hunter and Violet Butterfly. Just a little bit of searching needed, but cache found in due order and all well inside. TNLNSL. TFTC!

A nice little area and a great view from the lookout near the cache. All in order. TFTC
Find #2731. After the last two days of gales and rain, the day cleared this afternoon to a fairly good day.
Doing the loop Plimmerton to Plimmerton via the inland track to Pukerua Bay then back along the coast.
Took the side trip to find this, pretty straight forward then opted to go back to the road and down the zigzag. SL TFTC
Finished the round trip of 17km in 3 1/2 hours. Hard going along the beach and there is a lot of evidence of some huge waves in the last couple of days. Huge amounts of driftwood high above the beach. Even the old road to the quarry has disappeared under a layer of boulders tossed up by the sea. Awesome forces!!

Detoured to collect this cache before tackling all the new ones on the Skyline walk. A pleasant little spot!
That was nicely hidden. My GPS initially tried leading to a place a couple of metres away. After I found the cache it belatedly informed me I was practically standing on it. Thanks for the cache in a nice location.
#8710. A little exploration in Pukerua Bay. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Relatively quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

10 December 2016 11:45. A quick diversion on the way north, but hopes of a quick find at Gz was dashed as the Gps refused to settle. Eventually located by looking at every likely hint object. A nice spot, thanks for sharing it.
A little bit of exploration, and I was soon on the right track to where the cache was. No problems locating it when I got there. TFTC
Wow didn't expect this. A gorgeous secret trail that is well worth a visit. So many birds about early in the morning. Thanks for bringing us here
I managed to find another secret trail and made my way to the cache site (without increasing the terrain rating) for a quick and easy find. I found the library on my way out.
Nabbing a couple of Pukerua Bay caches with geo daughter in tow. She likes the sound of the cache name so we had to visit this one.
Didn't take too long to spot it.
TFTC.

A secret trail for some but when you are staying with a geocacher who's back gate leads directly to the trail it is not so secret. A nice quick find at the view point.
Thanks ryanja sproggles conkycon for the cache.

A pleasant stroll through the trees led to GZ and the cache was soon in hand. Co-ords were good and the description of which path to take and how far to go was very useful. A nice view of the water from here. This is a good geokids cache as it is easy to get to and there is a nice little playground close by. Signed log, left some swag, cache replaced and covered with some plant material. Thanks for placing a cache here. I've given it a FP.
Out and about this morning, called in to find this nicely located cache. A very pleasant short stroll through the trees and a quick find. Signed log, TFTC
Another place you wouldn't know was there unless you had a reason to find it. We searched and almost gave up but the hint was true and I found it while Selesi was on the other side of the spot.
Handy to have trail marked by brodifacoum notice took longer than it should have. Gilgul found it under tree I had overlooked TFTC
Nice find with Just-Lookin tonight.
Had not been in this area before and never had noticed the little library.
Short walk and good co-ords at cache site.

Little blue hen did a bookshop stop in PKB so I took the time to clear some emails and had a look on the phone to see what we hadn't done close by. After her shop we detoured and were surprised to find the dinky little library. Nice clear instructions on the cache description and the chicken's beady eyes and the ability to scratch about soon had the cache in hand. All good. TFTCSL
Happy to stroll down the secret trail with bkj97. Nice spot and a different view of the water. Added favorite. T4TCSL
Nice quick stroll through the forest to the view out tot the water. The cache is safe & sound and quickly to hand. Worth a FV to recommend the cache to others. TFTC
This one is almost in out backyard Today after some gardening work we went to the *for-us-not-secret-trail* and soon found the cache - thanks for this one [^]

I had a bit of spare time this morning so I had a chance to stop off and investigate this new cache on my way past.
I had no problems spotting the nicely hidden container and enjoyed the views as the dawn was breaking.
Thanks heaps for the cache and for showing me this nice little reserve.

8am and not even the first visitor for the day. Nice hidden walkway. Amazing how many of these there are. Thanks for the cache.
Never been along here before so thanks for showing us this little reserve. We quickly made our way to GZ and then found the cache right away with help from the hint. We thought about continuing the walk but kids weren't as keen so decided to walk along the beach instead and see the interesting driftwood structures people have made!

Either the coordinates are still way off, or this is more than a terrain two. Came back with a grazed hand and a sore behind from sliding down the track, but no cache despite an hour or so of searching.
WOW another {FTF }22:00, Saw this cache when it was published but thought that I would leave it for another cacher. Noticed the dnf logs later in the evening and thought about going out but decided to get other things done first.
Checked the cache out again and noted that there was still no find on it so decided to go and check it out
Managed to get a car park at the given parking coordinatesand then checked where to goas this was the first time that I have ever being in this area. After finding the correct route to GZ it was long before I managed to find a likely spot and checked it out and managed to find the cache in the first spot that I looked.
Was quite surprised that I found it that easy, coordinatesare not too bad, just remember to stay to the terrain rating and follow the track and it shouldn'tbe too hard.
Thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing me to a new spot that I didn't know about, TFTC TNLNSL Yeetrees ftf craze also visited the cache as well as Taney Ruru.
Must come back in the daytime to check out the views.
