Checked on this one today and unfortunately some muppet has swiped it. Quite annoyed as the container was from our Florida holiday.
Was out with KerriMG and we poked around thinking we had a fairly good idea of what we were looking for but having no success. Increased our search radius but still no luck.
I'll keep an eye on this one.

We had no luck here today. We searched for quite a while then went off to do a nearby cache before coming back to have another attempt - but we left empty handed. We are fairly certain that we know what we are looking for but that didn't help us today!
A Moose cache will generally make us a little apprehensive, but we were in the area. There were a few girls playing on the swings nearby GZ. Being that it was after dark I figured they would dissappear with a strange bloke poking around in the nearby bushes, that took a lot longer than common sense would dictate. Once the muggles disappeared a quick retrieval and replacement was made. The boss really liked this container, TFTC!
Didn't find the cache after a while searching, so left this one for another day. Crunchy Queen and I found and helped a baby bird though, so not a complete waste of time.
Got it!! Took 3 return attempts but got it! Under canopy GPS bounces around like its on a trampoline. In the end it wasn't as hard as I thought. Ammo tin? Yes, I guess! TFTC
Now what is Despicable about this Cache is how does the CO manage to make my GPS erratic at the location? Today at one point it had me in the creek, on the swings and even wanted me inside of Zupps. Eventually after 20 mins it settled on a spot not to far from where i eventually located the faint sound of a cache. On finally locating said cache all I can say it is a Despicable Cache indeed.
After finding a nearby cache, I made my way to this one. My phone kept jumping around all over the place and simply refused to settle. I am pleased that I kept following it as it eventually decided to take me to the right spot. There, I found a really cute container.I had heard of these but never seen one until today. I signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot before heading back home. TFTC
Thank you Brucemoose. Indeed despicable. Was determined to find this on the International Geocaching Day. Thanks and see you at my workplace.
Z.ummy wanted to drop through to this park after a dnf. Using my geo senses was able to lay hands on the cache.
This was my 3rd attempt to find.
Ls1patrol had a day off with me so after an awesome brunch at the crepe cafe I told him we MUST find this cache.
After a bit of searching here, there, everywhere.
It was Ls1patrol who put all the cryptic clues in previous logs together and had cache in hand.
Loved this cache.
And happy to finally have a smile here.
TFTC.

Out at a nearby location today and whilst my arrow was going all over the place, I thought that the fellow coming ky waycwas either 'Pokemon-ing' or caching and I just caught a glimps of his phone screen to see he was caching! Introducing ourselves to each other we each set about looking for this cache. I was on a timeframe and had to go. Giving up on the new geo ap I looked around some obvious spots. No luck today however.
oh dear what a way to start the day. way to good for us. bit like the state of origin team. Thank you for placing this cache. Visiting family in Brisbane. Caching during the day family at night.
Maintenance run this morning. Cache is still there! Even after the deluges. Actually, I knew that based on a couple of logs. Log is a little damp but useable and tin is safely secured. Carry on.
No luck for me today - looks like council have been cutting up fallen trees from the big blow a few weeks back - perhaps I should go over to the lost and found department over at Virginia; -)
On my way to be on a job interview panel nearby, I couldn't resist swinging in here for another quick shot. There were a couple of mums and kids on the swings but they looked very involved in their play.
I walked all over the scene, getting nice and dusty but failing to find an ammo can in any likely spots.
Time to read more logs. After a bit, I turned back to the front page. Ah, the benefits of finding a few thousand caches...
Now I had a bit of a sense of where to look, and pleasingly put my hand right on it shortly thereafter. I fear that the log is intact but saturated so that blue stuff after Brissy Guy's autograph is mine.
Coords are difficult here but my phone suggested something like decimals 368/940 by the end: maybe.
As I emerged, a mum was giving me a very suspicious glare so I went over and gave her the whole spiel, which satisfied her entirely: we might even have a new convert.
TFTC - though that log could certainly use a dry airing. A sneaky one!

This one took some working out. 368/940 worked for me too. Log is wet but thanks to the trusty ink pen was able to scrible on this one. Tftc.
Too Despicable for me this morning. I note Prime p found it on the day of the great flood but cannot help but wonder if the tide level came up even higher after his visit. GZ today seemed to be over in the playground so that didn't help matters either noting that others have had a similar issue on occasions.
1999 - On my way home from work and a stop to grab a few things from the shops, I headed past here to grab my cache of the day. I parked in the designated parking area and walked into the Park and saw the evidence everywhere of the water that had roared through this location over the weekend. I made a quick pass through to the bridge where I checked out the creek and allowed for a couple of muggles to walk past. I then made a couple of different searches in what I thought was ground zero, but the dumb phone wouldn't settle in one spot for too long. I was almost going to admit defeat and move off, when I back tracked and searched in a new area, which I initially thought was more than 10 - 12 metres away from the given coordinates. I then spotted a perfect cache hiding spot for the type of cache I had imagined I would find, and what do you know, there it was! When I allowed the dumb phone to settle it indicated I was 3 metres from GZ, with a 4 metre accuracy, well within the acceptable limits. I am not sure why the thing bounced around so much in here? I found the cache in good condition, and the log was reasonably dry - yes the container is obviously water tight. Sorry for the late log ruzzlez, but I am confident it would still be there. Thanks for another different type of cache brucemoose!
Looks like this area was forcefully inundated over the weekend, with debris everywhere. I'll let the area recover before seeing if the cache survived. Ta.
Thanks for bringing us here, cache is good, log is wet from what looks like a badly flooded hit.

Needing a cache for the day to keep the streak alive, I was watching the amazing weather this morning wondering what my plan of attack might end up being today. Perhaps an inner-urban kayak cache? Anything not overly weatherproof will be in trouble me thinks - I know, grab an ammo can cache - they are always good in all sorts of weather. And here is one not too far from home too.
OK, so I navigated HMAS Prime on a bearing of 275°, reaching 25 knots cruising speed, and pulled into the Good(life) dock a little after the afternoon's first bell, and took liberty leave to check out the sights in port. The area has seen better days - debris lined all structures, all muddy and water running everywhere - you'd think we had a storm or something. For some reason my sights were set on the fo'c'sle equipment - but I had a stronger belief in nearby, more geo-friendly, environs. I read the description a bit closely and came up with a theory. And a looksee soon had me at one likely locale - and viola a cache. Oh yes, theory confirmed.
Logsheet in fine and dry condition - like any ammo can would be.
Thanks for placing this cache, brucemoose. Found in good condition.

I think I've found a cache here before... The damp weather was keeping everyone away so I had the car park to myself. A little walk brought me to a good looking hiding spot and there was the cache. A cute container. TFTC, brucemoose.
Nuk nuk nuk, found the ammo tin. Just logging after the event when I realised I have overlooked this one. Tftc
Geowife found this one, while I and the Geokids enjoyed the park! TFTC, pretty excited to be the fourth name in the logbook!
Having found the other despicable cache and being totally sucked in by its twist, I wasn't quite sure what to expect here. I narrowed in on what seemed to be the GZ, and having only the phone with me, experienced quite a lot of bounce.
After eliminating a couple of areas and extending the search radius, I found a spot that is where I would hide it, and there it was!

This cache was found in good condition, and adds to our total of 2435 smilies. Thanks **brucemoose** for showing us this spot. This log is trackable. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

I wasn't planning on caching today with my eldest child's formal on tonight, however when this cache came through and it was so close to home, off went the dress I had on and on went caching clothes pronto! And 1GiantPanda flew to the car.
Arriving at GZ I wondered a number of things - who else would arrive for the hunt, where is the cache likely to be, hmmmm it's a brucemoose cache so what will it REALLY be, and hey does there have to be so much GPS bounce here today. 1GiantPanda and I began the ruthless search bouncing from this spot, to over there, to back again multiple times and scratching our heads. A lovely elderly muggle walking her two chihuahuas asked if we had lost something, and I thanked her but explained that my 9 year old and I are playing a game, which was enough explanation for her to happily continue on her way.
Then along came someone else - hahahaha hi RhoBoCacher! She certainly wasn't one of the cachers I'd expected to see down here that quickly. The three of us continued our hunt, and then were asked by OneEyedPie if we had found it yet. Nope, feel free to join us. We searched here and there and then I decided to ignore the GPS and try using cachers eyes and brain for a while. All of a sudden (and possibly a little too excitedly) "I'VE FOUND IT"! I had the despicable cache in hand with some chuckling. Yes brucemoose you did not fail to disappoint once more here.
As we signed the log for a joint *FTF* (sorry OneEyedPie for the slight error in log signing here) along came Que Sera and finders141. We let them head over and enjoy the visual for themselves and were on our way. Thanks for the cache brucemoose, it was quite enjoyably despicable too! FP from me.

Joint *ftf* with 1 minnie moo & one eyed pie. So we were on our way to sunnybank from morayfield and we had just finished doing another cache to qualify for the monthly challenege. Then all of a sudden an email comes through with a release of a new cache. I said to hubby you wanna go for it?? He said well we have to drive straight past so we might as well. So we pull in and i thought beauty there is no one here then I saw 1minnie moo. So we started searching and then one eyed pie turned up so we had more search power. I had found there was lots of jumping with the gps and where we found it was not where gps had settled. So I was looking in the area where we eventually found it just not in far enough. then we heard the words that we love to hear "FOUND IT". Not long after that when the signing the log there was 2 other cachers approaching. TFTC brucemoose
Joint FTF with RhoBoCacher and 1MinnieMoo. Sneaky hide. There was so much bounce on the GPSR that it had us searching all over the place. TFTC
