The could be for one of several reasons:
- The cache is archived on the cache's listing site.

Logs
I cannot see any information that indicates the CO has taken steps to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore the cache is being Archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [here](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [Bunjil,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

It has now been more than a month since Bunjil posted a Needs Maintenance log and there has been no response from the CO. I am, therefore, posting a Needs Archived log, as advised bu Bunjil.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
I appreciate the good intentions of Gill & Tony in bringing the situation regarding this cache to the attention of the geocaching community.
Logging information regarding a cache is certainly to be encouraged and is a great way to alert the community to an issue with a cache. However, making direct contact with the CO via email/message and acquainting them of your observation AND/OR logging a 'Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page is the preferable first step. Please only use the 'Needs Archive' log when there are serious problems with the cache or its location, or if the CO has not responded to a 'Needs Maintenance' log.
Posting a 'Needs Maintenance' log on the cache page notifies both the geocaching community as well as the cache owner. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert other geocachers of the needed repairs. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers, but they are the first step in the Archive process.
If the geocache has not been found for a reasonable amount of time and the cache owner has not reacted to a "Needs Maintenance" log, then that is the time to post a "Needs Archived" log on the listing. Please read the Help Centre article: [When a cache needs maintenance](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=107&pgid=434)
**A recent Needs Maintenance log has not actually been placed on this cache. so I am placing one with this log.**

This has not been found since October 2016. The CO has not found a cache since June 2016 and has not logged on to the site since May 2016.
Perhaps the local reviewer could take a look at it.

This one needs checking by the CO. We checked with a previous finder and we couldn't locate it where they found it previously. Might be gone!
Had a fairly decent look but couldn't find anything. Perhaps the CO can confirm its still here?

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
Given the disturbance to the landscaping, we do really "wonder" if hides of this type give the public a very positive impression of the geo-game?
Thanks anyway to Wtb26 for bringing us to this location.

Forced our muggle friends to install the geocaching app & buy premium (was supposed to have a free trial so the e mail said but I couldn't figure it out!) and join the fun today so we could get the souvenir We hung back and let them make the discovery, their very first cache. Looks like we have got them hooked. TFTC.
Also I have sent this log 3 times from my phone and it just wont send, so if duplicates pop up can someone let me know & I will delete any doubles. Thanks

Such a lovely day, we had to get out and do a few caches, so BettyBoo3747 and I went to Wodonga then collected a few down the highway.
This maybe the edge of civilization at the moment, but not for long looking at the busy graders just over the fence!
Lots of hard things around here, it was a matter of picking the right one.
Thanks, Robmc.

#10778. Finally a sunny day dawned here in Beechworth so Robmc and I decided to do a caching loop, firstly to Wodonga then down the Freeway to Chiltern and home. It was a bonus day - the geo-dogs got plenty of walks and we found 10 caches. Unfortunately, we missed out on a FTF by an hour as we only discovered its publication when we were way down the highway.
I am not a fan of rock searches as so often the walls get damaged by caching searches. However, Rob managed to find it fairly quickly and we signed the log and returned it to its hiding spot and were on our way.
Thanks Wtb26

Met up with a fellow cacher here this morning who had managed to find the cache before I got there, so pointed me in the right directed after a heavy sigh of how many places of potential hiding places there is to search. TFTC, cheers.

**# 14352** Found on another winter day for a drive around.
No rain today, plus not many muggles around either.
Yes it's still there and nice and safely hidden.
Thanks for the cache Wtb26,

My last search on a disappointing day of caching. Was hoping that this would be the one I could find but it wasn't to be. Will have to return another time and try again.
I was in need of new hiking boots so I headed to Albury today just before lunch. Since leaving Wodonga in February and moving to Wangaratta there's been a sudden boom of new caches so I decided to clean up as I made my way to the boot store (arrived just before closing time). 21 finds all up, quite a satisfying afternoon with a variety of creative hides and interesting locations.
A Quick P&G here.

Discovered this little fella while out enjoying a drive, looking at the new development that is springing up around this area. Making the find was easy enough but didn't have a pen and the pencil was broken, so will return and sign log. Thanks Wtb26 for placing and maintaining cache for us to find.
We spent a bit of time picking up some local caches today and this one was on the list. We scoped the area on arrival and couldn't see any muggles about, so after a quick scratch through the rock located the container.

Hoping for a quick find on my way to the shops - I needed a cache to fill a blank day in my calendar. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be the one
Thanks Wtb26 for the cache, anyway

Tried to find earlier in the day but to many muggle builders around, so back again latter in the afternoon and it was a lot quieter didn't need the GPS spotted a likely spot so homed on it , the prize was found, signed and replaced quickly. This cache will be harder when the houses across the road are finished and occupied so glad found today. TFTC
Started with a wrong interpretation of the hint! After a few minutes, stopped, took a deep breath and changed my thinking. A quick find and smiley followed. A good hide! SL TFTC
FTF on a very wet and soggy Mother's Day!! Great hiding place and lovely new area to discover even in the pouring rain! SL at 2.35pm and left a Princess Travel Bug to honour your cache. #3651 TFTC and the thrill of a FTF - seems we beat the locals! Thanks again wtb26
