When this cache was placed the area was new and clean but it appears local dog walkers have started throwing their waste here and the cache has become unpleasant. As a result its time to archive it and to make room and replace with something different.

26-Jun-19
Satellites were not kind today. Even went to find another cache close by And came back to reboot. Like others thought I knew what to look for. Recent lawn mowing I take it had been anticipated with hide. Have to come back. Thanks 4bait for these local cache

23-Jun-19
Sorry for this style of log, but there is nothing redeeming about this geocache or its location. The area is strewn with real dog crap and many, many plastic bags with dog crap in them that the local walkers have thrown into the bushes / trees near GZ. While the idea is somewhat novel, the location is, really, quite disgusting.

13-Jun-19
I thought I had a good idea about what to look for her but I couldn't find it.

24-May-19
Back in the area to track down a couple that I couldn’t locate yesterday. With spot on coordinates quickly located the container. Looking very realistic, stuck my finger in to make sure it wasn’t warm and steaming - nope, not real so all ok to handle. Nice concept and construction.. thanks..!!

16-May-19
Didn't find it although I had an idea what to look for (or so I thought). Will come back for it.

Our geopuppy was meant to have her groom last week but the groomer contacted us and told us the power was going to be turned off that day during our appointment time and could we reschedule to today. Normally it is just me taking her but because it was ANZAC day, GMelb had the day off too. So we decided we’d both go and do some caches nearby. This was the 2nd and we didn’t have much time left as the appointment is only 1 hour and the groomer likes you to be back on time!! Lol So we hotfooted it to GZ and GMelb happened to discover the cache immediately phew!! And it was exactly what I thought it would be lol. So we signed it and hotfooted back to the car, as no time for No 1 in the series. We arrived back at the groomers 4 mins late - whoops but geopuppy looks and smells gorgeous!!

Oh yeah, we liked this one. Great cache container, thanks for the hide.

08-Mar-19
The GPS was a little vague and I searched for some time without luck. The clue didn't help and I was about to leave when I decided to approach from a different direction. I examined all the rubbish and likely spots again before noticing something - and now it all makes sense. SIgned log and replaced. TFTC

Oh my god! This is sheer brilliance ! And the title is great! I LOVE THIS
A fav from me

10-Jan-19
A quick look with no luck. Will be back

05-Jan-19
This is the last one for us of this trail. We had a DNF from a long time ago on this one and today we came back to rectify that. It took a lot longer to find than it should’ve been because the gizmo wouldn’t give us a reasonable indication of where to look. It was sending us backwards and forwards until just after a constant search in the end it was an easy find.

31-Dec-18
Last minute caching to see 2018 out and to get my required points for the friends league for the month of December. This cache took about ten minutes to find and had to read a few previous logs to assist where to look. We also thought about the find of DBT Number one. Had a bonus find tonight, a knife in its holder stashed under the noise barrier of the bypass.
Took that away and disposed of it thoughtfully. HA HA. Anyway 4bait, thanks for the cache and out last find for 201`8. Only one more to find on this trail.

Did you know about the Law of Dnfs?
The Law of DNFs states : thy DNF number will always grow or stay the same, no matter how many caches thou shalt return to find, by the end of that day other caches shall be unfounded returning that number to where it was, or greater.

Yes it’s true

05-Nov-18
Soon all that will be left is the cache. Knocked a lot off . A lot

21-Oct-18
We read the description and we read the hint, and we were pretty sure we knew what we were looking for. However at GZ, we started our search and were getting quite disheartened by all the ground cover. We searched and searched. Even turned over a real one just to check, and it was still soft. Eeew! Some dog owners really do need to do the right thing. Was about to call it a DNF when a likely item was unearthed. It was buried under a lot of ground cover, It really was good to find this one. TFTC 4bait.

amaali and I spent a bit of time on this one however when we did find it what a laugh the number two says it all. The first one of it's type I've seen. Thanks again 4bait

Greytiger and I spent far to long on this one. The cache was finally found under a pile of herbage. A good hide and a first of type with this find for me. TFTC.

13-Sep-18
I FOUND IT!!! I found it!! I FINALLY found it.
Woohoo!!

Really it shouldn't have been quite this hard but some discarded clothing really does, consciously or subconsciously, effect where you look.

In the end, it WAS what I thought it would be and I did have to be a little brave - especially as the opening is very well disguised too. Log book is in perfect condition!

Thanks.

Gosh...I'm not going to recognize the map without the sad blue face here

27-Aug-18
Turned over every bit of sheoak found nothing. Not sure how big the thing is supposed to be and I was a bit put off by the pants and underpants nearby.

06-Aug-18
Cache is still in place. DNFs are not unusual on this cache. It sometimes gets covered in leaf litter if its been windy or unfound for a while. And blends into its surrounds.

03-Aug-18
So I've been keeping an eye on this for a few months, since my DNF.

Looking again at it the other day, I finally clicked on what the cache must surely be. So here I am. Trying again. Except the Worlds Slowest Walker is making her way in this direction...

Ok. I've had a good look and I'm pretty sure it isnt there. 4bait, could you please check on it?

03-Aug-18
After a string of DNFs and a few really intensive searches, it would be great if CO could check it out.

28-Jul-18
Will need to try again another day. No luck today.

Oh dear. Was hoping for another pleasant easy find before work as I'm on the way to Neptune and have another odd 70 points to get.
Sigh.. but I really MUST learn to do more research before I get to a location as I was looking in the wrong area the whole time. The big question is.. will I leave work early and go back?

Today I was out to gain some points for the Planetary Pursuit series of souvenirs, so I was targetting highly favourited caches, multis, and solved puzzles. Unfortunately, I loaded my GPS before adding the puzzles, so they will need to wait for another day. I thought I knew what I was looking for, and in the end it turned out that I did, but it still took around 10 minutes of wandering around before I found it. Great job on the camouflage. Another favourite from me.

Thanks for the cache, 4bait.

05-Mar-18
Back in Victoria we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.

This took a while to find after a few falce finds, but after reading previous we made the find, this took longer than it should have done. A great well constructed cammo hide!

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

26-Feb-18
To good for me tonight. Had an idea what it may be but many muggles made search hard.

02-Jan-18
Went looking for this one last night but couldnt find it even though i guessed what we were looking for. So went again tonight and had it in my hands within 5 minutes. Extremely well made cache.

30-Dec-17
It was getting a bit late and I was conscious of the muggles so giving this one a miss till later.

27-Dec-17
After a DNF here a few months ago, it was good to make a quick find today while out on a morning ride. This is just what I was looking for last time and I am sure that I looked here...but obviously not. Added my name to the log and returned. Thanks for the cache, 4bait and for the fun container.

12-Dec-17
Well this one has taken a bit of effort but I got there in the end.

Yes, it was pretty much what I was expecting.
Yes, the coordinates were accurate for me.
Yes, I had looked in that spot on previous visits!

I do recall being here after work over winter and bemoaning the lack of natural light. Today was bright and sunny and I had no such excuse. Having checked a few red herrings and trying a few different angles I spotted something and sure enough it was the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache 4bait. Another nice camo construction job.

09-Nov-17
I keep getting maintenance logs on this from HQ. But rest assured it has been checked and all is good

05-Nov-17
I dunno, couldn't see anything.

15-Oct-17
Sadly a DNF for this one. Had a good search but no luck.
Thanks

03-Oct-17
A sad morning. I decided to get my cache before work, but as I approached the DBT, there were workmen everywhere, so I turned away from the spoon full of auger and headed down to this one, still slot of working muggles... I made it into the GZ unseen, and had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for and the GPS even had me at less than a metre, but still I could don't find anything g that looked like a cache...

Now I'm running late for work though... Will try for another cache later today!

16-Sep-17
Couldn't find this one, although we are so rusty it's not funny, so it's most likely us.

Accompanied with crank1 for the caching day. Nice day today. Very quiet path to walk along. Found it but got me surprised!!! Nice one! Thanks 4bait for the cache.

10-Aug-17
Such nice weather for a winter's day, so I got the deadly treadly out and set off for Karkarook Park and the nearby bike trail. The car parks were chockers! they must have stocked the lake with fish - fishing muggles everywhere. Not a good sign for caching! Fortunately, most of the caching areas were empty.
Under the highway and out onto the bike track. I went left first and this was my first in this series.
The wall close by played hell with the GPSr. All I knew was it was between the road and the bike path!
Spent a bit of time looking in the wrong spots (seemed a good idea at the time)
It i one of those caches where the clue only means anything after you find the cache.
Still, a very well made cache. After the mud at 3 goats, I could pick up anything! Smile
Thanks, Robmc.

04-Aug-17
Out with xambo4u, we parked nearby and walked along the trail. We started our search having a fair idea of what we were looking for!! Thanks 4bait

04-Aug-17
Looked for this for quite some time, but no luck. I think I know what I was looking for, but could not bag the cache,

04-Aug-17
Out and about on this freezing day with echidna44. Having decided just to walk around this fantastic area to enjoy some caching, chatting and scenery. We parked in the street nearby and walked along the bike path to start. I have seen this type before so I had an idea what to look for. We had a good laugh, thanks for the cache 4bait

18-Jul-17
Was looking for an unfound cache with more than ten favourite points not too far from home and this one fitted the bill.

From the description and hint I had a strong idea of what I was looking for and ultimately it was a matter of quartering the area until I spotted something that fit the bill - weirdly I must have passed it at least twice during my scrabblings, then just as I was starting to get frustrated I turned around and there it was behind me, quite obvious, less than a foot away.

Signed the log, thanks for another interesting cache container, 4bait - only the second variant on this that I've ever seen, so definitely worth another fave point.

14-Jul-17
Checked today and found cache in perfect condition just a little covered in leaf litter so its still ready to be found

11-Jul-17
While I noted a number of DNFs I had a good idea of what I was looking for but even though I had the chance to do a fairly thorough search no success. I will wait for 4bait to give this one the thumbs up before I return.

10-Jul-17
Will check on this again suspect its still there but last time it got covered over with leaves etc

08-Jul-17
Continuing the run of DNFs on this cache. Nothing that we could find that matched the theme. Over 6 months since the last finder.

18-Jun-17
What a bummer. We had a good search but couldn't come up with the goods. Reading previous logs it all started to make sense but unfortunately we could not put this one in the bag. We will return for another crack.

24-Apr-17
No luck for me here. Having found a nearby cache I headed on to this one but dark was closing in and despite searching around a fair bit with my torch I couldn't spot it. Thanks anyway.

19-Apr-17
Knew exactly what I was looking for having read previous logs and with a previous finder in tow but even with that knowledge in hand we couldn't find this one today. Will keep an eye on this one and try again. TFTC.

29-Dec-16
I decided that I would get the bike out and collect the DBT series. I parked at Karkarook Park and thought that I would start in the middle of the series. The temperature was really hot such that I thought that I was melting however I had packed lots and lots of water. On this part of the trail I had a fierce head wind.

A quick find. Great camo...TFTC.

22-Dec-16
After a 30 minute search we found it and replaced the logbook

Ready for the next finder

Just what I was expecting .... TFTC log needs replacing very wet......

19-Nov-16
After EB Nano had completed Saturday school basketball, we made a slight diversion up Warrigul Rd to attempt these two caches. We made our way to No 2 first as there was a gaggle of gossiping girls at No 1.

I saw the camouflage from the path and sent EB Nano into to retrieve. He was very reluctant to handle the container, picking it up with great care before passing it to me so I could complete signing duties.

Thanks 4bait for a very realistic version of a camo that I have come across before.

05-Nov-16
Continuing on from a few finds in Karkarook Park this was the first of 2 finds on the D.B.T today
Pretty obvious what the cache would be after reading the description and sure enough we were not disappointed
Signed the log and returned as found after the muggles were out of sight! Many thanx to 4bait

04-Nov-16
#1968 Yes, well named! Log was quite damp though - hopefully not by Number one! Thanks again 4bait.

Out with Lukie1987 today, getting some much needed bike-exercise, and picking up a few caches along the way.
Haha... Nice one.
Thanks for placing this series, 4bait.

22-Oct-16
Catching up on a few late logs! Hmm, after walking around looking for the obvious hide after reading some recent logs I couldn't spot this hide. We had to dodge a few puddles and wet branches but we soon had this well constructed hide in hand, first my 11 year old son needed a photo to show Mum. Thanks again 4bait for the hide, nice work!

20-Oct-16
We were meant to be heading to pikes creek today but one of our geobuddys got sick, the weather turned for the worse and some of the caches we were chasing are now underwater. So me and ozhockeychick decided to head to this group of caches for a ride. nice easy ride here and some great caches where found TFTC.

Very funny love it A fav from me.

19-Oct-16
Under different circumstances I'm not sure whether I would have gone anywhere near this one. Now than I'm geocaching nothing surprises me these days. Love the creativity of this cache it deserves a favourite point. TFTC

17-Oct-16
Great day for a bike ride on a very nice new track. Thanks 4bait.

07-Oct-16
GPS spot on so arrived and said - that has to be it. Always ready to put my hand anywhere to claim a cache. But then I stopped to admire the clever craftsmanship and wonder how to locate the log. Gets an FP for design. TFTC

11-Sep-16
I headed out for a bike ride today since so many new caches had popped up around this area. I found a few until a new cache was published a few klms away and so I headed of a joined a group of people for a DNF because the cache wasn't even there. That's the fun of going for FTF's I suppose.
The weather was average today so not too many people along here and in fact no one while I looked for the cache.
A minute or so later the find was made very cautiously. Nicely constructed. A favourite from me.
Thanks 4bait for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

13-Aug-16
The opportunity to do some caching was afoot as so off we went. Caught up with Square Pegs at one cache and then we went our separate ways to complete a few more. TNLN SL.

Many thanks 4bait

13-Aug-16
Found time to get out this arvo for some caching, one that had been put on the back burner given it needed a tall tool, today we met up with Square Pegs to get that one. Dunko used his extra arm reach here, after we continued on our way for a few more before heading back.
Many thanks 4bait

10-Jul-16
Reading teh description I had an idea of what this one would be, but not how well it was constructed. As I was standing there signing the log a muggle came past, quite unaware of my presence. Not so her dog who went a little mad! I walked off by the wall, trying to figure out how I was going to explain this, but fortunately I did not need to.

09-Jul-16
Find #1057. Usually the kind of thing you avoid but this cache was fantastic. Very creative container. Thanks 4bait for another great cache.

How charming.....!!!

Find # 352
This one was approached with trepidation as we guessed the probable "container" based on its name. After avoiding one possible candidate that was next to the path, we found another possible target further afield. After a test prod with a nearby stick, it was confirmed to be solid and we drew straws to see who would do the retrieval. One of the kids was the lucky winner and after a short time, the log was signed and the "container" returned to its settling place.
On to number 1 next, hopefully that isn't named in the same way Smile TFTC.

Find #2574. Found @16:14

Some recent family events have taken up much of my free time, and a great deal of my mental capacity of late. All of which has meant that I have not found any caches recently, so The Good Lady Wife decreed that I was to be sent forth to look for some caches.

This one has been taunting me since it got published, I hate to have an unfound cache within my 5km radius. A previous excursion here with The Good Lady Wife and j-bean didn't pan out. It was spur of the moment, and I only had the phone with me, which doesn't seem to do too well with the wall nearby. We located something that matched what we thought the cache camouflage would be, and it was a little too convincing (especially when prodded with a stick).

I came back today and after getting interrupted by a phone call from my sister when I got to GZ, I found the cache pretty quickly. An excellent job on the camouflage (which I had to poke with a stick to make sure it was okay to grab). I took a picture to show the family, but obviously I won't put it with my log.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log, and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache 4bait. Enjoy your attached favourite point.

As I made my way to GZ I was contemplating what the title meant. A look around and I spotted something, and it confirmed what I was expecting. This was a very fine specimen, if one can use that term Smile
This was to be my final find in this series today. It made for an enjoyable journey as I made my way along with such a variety of well thought out container. Thanks 4bait.

It was getting too dark to keep looking... The area had just had a recent deposit of mulch and I was wondering whether This may have affected the cache

#1733 @14:44

I was back on the caching trail with Burge today. It was good to be out and about picking up some of the new hides in the area and today we were caching on foot around Karkarook Park and the Dingley Bypass. All up we found 19 caches although we did have one DNF. A great afternoon all round.

Thankfully this trail seems to have very little foot/bike traffic and so we could search in peace today. The hint gave us a clue as to what we should be looking for although the container we found was still very unexpected! A great hide. Thanks for the cache, 4bait!

26-May-16
Out on a day time caching run with PantherX in the Karkarook Park area.

Given this was the same series as our last find we decided to trust the gps and we quickly located the find but was a little concerned about touching it so I used a stick to test it out prior to picking it up. nice camo.

Help! I haven't found a cache in a week! I need one now! so today i headed out for a walk with my mum and geo dog. I was sure I knew what to expect for this cache. Headed to gz from Kakarook park as there was one in there that I needed to get. We had to wait for muggles to walk passed before getting closer to the cache. WoW!! what a whopper. Of course my dog had to have a good sniff, wee and poo around the place too. thanks 4bait. Love your work.

23-May-16
Given the variety of camo and great hides by the CO I was careful to rule no object out in the vicinity of GZ.
As it turned out I had seen such a container before (pays to idly surf looking at containers) but just to be sure I have it a prod with a nearby stick.
Thanks for the effort!

**Find #: 4553**
**Time: 3:01 pm**
**Date: Thu 19 May 2016**
Another day where I had time to attack my 10km circle.
Although it rained, I managed another nine while dodging the rain, sometimes difficult when a bike trail is involved.
I parked near the playground in Sherwood Avenue, and walked to this one.
I must have walked right past it the other day before it was published, when I found the caches either side of it.
I read the description, and made an assumption which turned out to be completely wrong.
Thus disoriented, I started again and spent some time looking at what might be a homeless person's shelter, or just a hollow with some rubbish in it. It vaguely fit the description but it got too gross so I decided it wasn't that.
I was about to move on when I saw something else and knew that I'd found it.
It was very well made, much better than those you can buy, and it took me a while to find the log it was so good.
Get's a fav point from me.
**Thanks for placing this cache 4bait**

*14/05/2016, Found @ 4:01 AM, Find # 5348.*

I was asleep but the alert for this new publication woke me up, I had a look and noticed that it was a new DBT cache, I thought about getting it later on but I wasn't going back to sleep while there was an unfounded cache close by so I went for a drive.
I drive to a point and then went for a walk and arrived in the area of GZ, a quick look at the obvious thing but nothing was found.
While I was wandering around, I was thinking about the cache size and something come to mind as what it may be, I continued looking around and then I spot the very thing that I was thinking of, a closer I section was needed, all safe and the cache was found.
I was pretty sure that no one was here before me but you never know so out came the logbook, a check through the pages front and back revealed that I was in fact the FTF.
It was put back in place and now it's time to go back to bed

**Thanks to 4bait for placing this cache.**
