319. We were over this way playing a cricket match. Did this before the team got here. Quick find. Log was missing from the cache. We messaged the CO asking if we could claim. TFTC
Sneaky sneaky! Had a good search for this one. Thankfully I was accompanied by a fellow cacher who pointed me in the right direction and gave me a TOT to retrieve the log. Very impressive hide tftc
Found on the 07/03 with Team SEAC (sorry, haven't logged until now). We have searched for this one a number of times, but as it's a busy place, haven't had much luck. This time, with more brains together , we thought about different places it could be. Then after a short search, we had the cache in hand. Once we found it, I thought, of course! That was the logical place for it to be! Why on earth didn't we look there before?! Thanks for the cache
17 June 2021 18:39. Number 9797. Wandering up from the viaduct area now. Was prepared for a lengthy search in the dark, but fortunately it wasn't needed! TFTC
I was familiar with the location, having found the original one many years ago, and failing to find the second iteration a couple years back (granted that attempt was in the dark, and I was all but done caching for the day by then, so didn't really try hard at it).
Second weekend in Auckland in a row, this time working at a client site nearby, so took the opportunity to pop out at lunchtime to have another crack at this one. Following the detailed hint I carefully examined the specified location, but it still took me a few minutes to spot the rolled-up logsheet (the cache missing it's cover). Still had troubles getting the logsheet out as I didn't have tweezers, but was able to macgyver a solution from local resources.
Signed and replaced as found, then carried on my way. TFTC

This one had eluded me a couple of times. But today I finally found it. Huzzah! TFTC.
Finally ... After 3 failed attempts over countless years, with the updated hint it was a breeze in the early morning sun. Not sure how I missed it so many times before.. Thanks for the cache.
Long overdue to wander a bit further on and Auckland visit.
Tricky in the pre dawn gloom
Got back to hotel with my pen in pieces so just sorted that and now logging
Thanks

Found this one about a month ago but didn't have the necessary tool for retrieval with me. I came back today with all I needed and it was a quick sign and replace. Last time I was here it had a lid but there's no lid now. TFTC!
After completing a nearby cache headed over here with Team SEAC. With many eyes it was soon spotted. TFTC
Found whilst out with Team SEAC on an adventure.
I spotted it first!
Thanks for the fun!

Out with Team Seac getting the challenging "the park" cache...mastered that one and had time to kill. So headed over here. Didn't take us long to find. Very crafty. TOTT were needed. Thanks Mr G2
After a successful mission at the nearby 'The Park' cache, the members of Team SEAC headed over to this cache. Thanks to the hint the cache was fairly quickly located and luckily one of the team had some tweezers for retrieval, TFTC!
In the area today with a group whom had gathered to locate a nearby cache for our D/T grids, and as this one also needed to be located, we just had to make the find....with many eyes the find was swift.....
TFTC.

Team SEAC joined up to do the nearby The Park cache after our latest lockdown, and as this was nearby, we decided to get this cache as well. A quick search and the log was soon in hand and signed as Team SEAC to save room. TFTC
After success at The Park, Team SEAC wandered over here to check out the wheel and soon found what we were looking for.
With the formalities complete we decided on a plan to wander for a few more caches and some ice cream of course!
Thanks for the cache.

With the hint we found it in less time than it took to count to 10, so then we had to walk back around the park (not across because not even us would walk through 3 different cricket matches) and go for coffee, just to kill some time before Daddypig123 sauntered off to meet up with people from Toyota to go out on the water to watch the racing.
Was on the bus and pushed the stop button to get off at akoranga station and unfortunately the bus continued onto the city without stopping so thought I would grab this cache while waiting for the return bus. Nice quick find thanks to good hint! Interesting sculpture! TFTC
Was heading to America's Cup village to watch the racing on the big screen & stopped off here on the way. A fav point. Thanks
We came out with a small group of cachers tonight in a bid to attempt another cache with a high D/T rating in this very park. Supernanny was sitting on a cache tally of 9999 and she was on a mission tonight to make it her #10,000th. So there I was with 3 previous finders trying to find this and although the will was there, I wheely let myself down and nearly needed them to hold my hand and show me where it was! Tftc
Thank goodness for the hint. Odd looking thing. I wonder what timber was used because it’s in pretty good condition for its age.
Parked not far from this GZ and back for another crack at this one which I first attempted last July, 2019, when everything was a lot more normal! Thanks to the recent CO intervention the cache was where it should be and I could add my details to the roll of honour. Nice placement here and a good place for a cache.
A medical appointment in the CBD today meant I had to leave work early to attend (shame). I left in good time to make sure I could find a decent parking place and a little diversion via Herne Bay first to grab another TMGT cache, and collateral nearby ones too. I only found a few but all was good, though I twisted my back getting out of the car just before the appointment so a slow walk up to Albert Street from Victoria Park.

Just time to squeeze in another cache before catching the nearby bus. Found on second option (of course), first to sign on the new log. Thanks again G-2!
Found - sort of. At least I found where it should have been. The test tube described was right where the hint said it would be. Alas that’s all there was. No lid on the tube and no log paper. Shame, I can see this would be a great cache when in proper condition.
Stopped by here momentarily this afternoon.
Nice hide!
I don’t think it’s as intended (without a lid), but I imagine that as intended it was pretty cool!
Thanks for the cache!

Have always loved this piece of artwork. Quick find but cache needs maintenance and I didn't have the right things with me.
The lid of the cache is missing and the log is not there/fallen out. It is a great hiding place but needs maintenance
OMG
I had to search here for at least half an hour. this is a very interesting way to hide a cash I think that the lid has been lost you can only see the open tube with the lockbook.

This day was similar to other days while waiting for our flight back to Sweden. Walking, lunch in a park and a walk back. Good for the brain and the body.
Always keeping the distance of 2 meters to other people and using hand sanitizer before and after logging.
Paper and lid were gone and just the container without cover left in place. Left a new paper. Need some restauration.

Tricky... but excellent hint, thanks. And thanks for bringing us to an ... interesting ... sculpture.
Was over in town today and took a moment to have another go at this clever wee hide. Success today. We had to get a TOTT to help us get the log out. No lid, but the log is all fine. SL. TFTC.
Easy find. No muggles. No cap on container so have pushed the log back into the tube as it would easily fall out. Thanks for the hide.

A day with a long caching walk through Auckland. Nice sunny weather. A city with construction works everywhere. Good to see such dynamics, less fun as a pedestrian. Several nice caches found, and nice spots visited.

Tis true. I persisted this time and found the little bugger.Think he’s flipped his lid but I ploughed ahead. Tftc.
Quickly found with the hint. Out for a morning walk whilst visiting from Dunedin for the weekend. Tftc
Found during our day in Auckland while here on MSC Magnifica on the world cruise. Thanks much for the cache.
Nice quick find this morning, although I had the feeling that something was missing...cheers V
Cache found after using the hint. Container doesn't seem to have a lid, not sure if intentional. TFTC
Wow... That was a quick find and log on 02022020 on my way to Sunday morning shopping...
Thank you for the cache

I finally presented my HOMAGE TO WILL. I am in Auckland since 4 years and has seen this artwork nearly every day on my way to work or home. And today was the D day. Thanks for the cache.
We had to drop our daughter and son-in-law off at the Sky City bus terminal early this morning, so afterwards we stopped at Victoria Park to find a cache. Hunted as per the hint but couldn't see the cache. Read back through some earlier logs then tried a bit lower. Spotted the crafty little tube. Thanks.
Fun find with a side of skateboarding, cool camo. We forgot to bring tweezers!

Start of a nice sunny geocaching day with DEvelyn and Paraonegirl! Good hide tftc
Yep. Still here. Quick easy find. You do need tweezers or similar I'd recommend.
Thanks for this Christmas day cache after dropping brother off to work. Let's all spare a thought to those working today.

We are not alone in failing to find this despite the explicit hint and a previous logs saying it was south-western not north-west of the two possible limbs. Such a shame as it’s a very nice sculpture and it would’ve been nice to be found to hide.

Had a good look here with geocacher buddies on Saturday, but reading it later, not sure we were looking for the right thing. So returned Sunday for another good look with the other half of the team. We couldn't locate it. Too clever for us.
Checked obvious spots but couldn't find anything, will be back another time to search more thoroughly
Had a look in what I thought were the obvious spots but couldn't find it. Searching got cut short by a meet up with friends but I'll be back!
Find number 5669. Spending the day caching with supernannny clearing some puzzle caches we had the final coordinates for. Being an Aucklander she did the driving and I gave directions. We were passing this one so I had a look. I was able to spot it straight away but looked elsewhere before returning to extract the log. Thank you for the placement.
