Really fun, cool and historical geocache I did it with gladiator3 (I hate her) besides getting attacked by ants I loved this cache Thank you brewmaker!
Picked up the necessary details yesterday, remembrance day, and then came out bright and early this morning to complete the find
Finishing off a successful day of caching by ticking off a couple of the long list of multis/mysteries weve solved in the area. Realized after finding this I should of saved this one for tomorrow. Great cache to honor those who serve. Thanks for the cache. FP
It was poignant visiting this important memorial today bring near Remembranvce Day. Very interesting read and something that must not be forgotten. Enjoyed the puzzle and Mrs Rocket Ron found the cache quite quickly reallyTFTC
Checked on GZ while out and about. All is good with this one, despite muggle kids setting up some sort of lounge and table about 15m away. Take care to cover with plenty of natural camo please.
Belated log and long delayed find. We visited WP1 several years ago - probably pre-Covid - to collect what was needed. Mrs Gaztek spent a lot of time at the nearby ground during her football days. This afternoon we finally returned to the area and made our way to GZ. Circled around a few times until we came upon the container. Always nice to acknowledge our service people. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Thanks for this wonderful and very meaningful multi. Spent some time at WP1 reflecting on the meaning of everything we could see there with the youngest LegoLad then went for a nighttime wander to GZ followed by a Gelato Messina detour!
A good straight forward multi. Mananged to do the calculations quickly and got the green light on the first go. A short to walk to GZ and soon had CIH. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks Brewmaker for another interesting cache.
Double and triple checked my numbers at WP1 then realised something that might have been misinterpreted before the geochecker wa sharply! With correct coords in hand I headed to GZ. Night caching g with a torch in the bush and an indecisive GPS makes for a frustrating time, but soon entered from the right angle and the cache was soon in hand! Signed the log and replaced the nicely camoed cache back where I found it

On a walk to check on this one. Still hidden under it's camo. Please ensure lid is on tightly (listen for the click) so no water gets in there. Cache on!
After some help from the owner “BrewMaker” and numerous failed attempts, we finally got what we believed to be the correct coordinates and it sure was!!! We then proceeded to the location, and found the cache tucked away neatly with a bit of natural camouflage. But, but… we forgot the pen!!! So we took a photo instead. Will have to post the photo later as we are logging on a different device. Also discovered Miss Liz the leaf spinner spider, and don’t fall into the trap we did by wearing thongs instead of shoes!!! TFTC BrewMaker, we really enjoyed this cache!
FP from us!

Out on a walk, I stopped by to check on it. It was a little exposed, so I covered it with some nearby natural camo.
#3042 First of two finds in Miranda with Rieka as we attempt to finish the Shire Challenge. Great little multi but had to wait for a commemorative service by the local RSL to finish. Also had fun relocating Harry the Huntsmen who was guarding the cache. TFTC

This cache was a needed multi for today. A gave me trouble but was just me being careless. GZ checked and off I went. A little circle work at GZ and all was in order.
Thanks to Brewmaker for the fun and the adventure.
Thanks to Brewmaker for the fun and the adventure.
We have spent the weekend in Sydney, visiting family around the Sutherland shire and celebrating a family birthday.
It was great to have some blue sky on the weekend. We were staying not too far away and took a walk down to a small memorial area which we did not know existed.
It was then a short drive to get us close to GZ.
We walked a little gingerly through the very wet and muddy grass to GZ where we made a quick find.
Thanks Brewmaker. A lovely multi!

This final WP from the multi was another casualty from the rain sone weeks ago and had to wait until today. I was concerned about the approach but it had been recently cleaned up and was dry so I was soon looking at an excellent container and dry log. Thanks for another top multi starting from a place of such meaning and importance.
Whooooop - After failing two previous caches, we found this bad boy. Such a good mini adventure.
I often come to The Shire but after a day's walking I never seen to have enough time or energy to complete multi caches and beat the school zone and peak hour traffic so today I made it the day for Multis in the Shire.
This was the first one I visited. What a well presented War Memorial!
I found the information easily but the checker did not like my answer. Hmm, rechecked everything and it was dumb fingers punching the wrong number on the very last digit.
Lots of dogs were using the park near the memorial which was nice.
So off I went to GZ.
Found a lovely park and I was the only person using it. Why is no one here?
Found GZ and the cache then began my walk back to the geomobile which had grabbed the last parking spot in the suggested area. No problems on the way to GZ but on the way back I took a different line ...... and I know why no one is here ....... this park is waterlogged!!
Anyway it didn't spoil my visit to this nice spot.

Nice multi that I miscounted the faint stars twice before a reasonable set of coordinates were obtained. Thank you for setting up this neat multi, Brewmaker
Nice neat multi with nothing ambiguous. It was busy around the war memorial today but I think it was mostly people parking there to go to the shops. Once at GZ I had the place to myself and made a quick find. Days since I’ve seen a homemade bong while geocaching have been reset to zero.
The cache itself is in good condition and still smells hygenically fresh. TFTC Brewmaker and lest we forget

This is a multi. It is not meant to be at the posted coordinates. Please read the description before attempting your search.
Now that the NSW Government is beginning to ease lockdown restrictions and we can now travel outside our local LGA, it’s time to bring my caches back into play. I know the COVID-19 virus is still about, so please take precautions to keep yourself and those around you safe by doing things such as wearing gloves to handle caches, as well as using hand sanitiser regularly. Take care everyone and enjoy your return to caching after such a long break. Brew
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, it is my personal opinion that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel (> 10km) and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis. You are breaking the law by doing so.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, I have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find I will DELETE IT.
Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to bringing my caches back into play as soon as the health crisis abates.
Regards,
Brewmaker

tried several combinations but geochecker kept giving me incorrect. It obviously depends on the definition of sub headings or I can`t count stars!, or both
3rd time's the charm!
A little tough for us to find GZ due to the GPS inaccuracy under the trees which sent us to the wrong spot.
Was hoping to find this with geowife on her birthday but had no success. Our second attempt later in the day was thwarted by mosquitos, so third time we went prepared with the Aeroguard and a helpful hint from the cache owner.
Left trackable, took nothing
Thanks Brewmaster

Staying the night nearby and needing a walk, we headed over to this one for a quick solve and then find at GZ.
We were up this way for errands and thought we would grab this one while out. TFTC ️ we had never been to the war memorial before.
Out doing some last minute Christmas shopping and had some time to pick up this multi. At wp1 I gathered all the info pretty easy and came up with some coords. At gz the camo was quickly found and the cache was in hand tftc
Driving lessons are a great excuse to just randomly drive to Sutherland for only a few caches. This little multi took a bit longer then expected, more for parking issues then anything else. All numbers and the cache were found quick and straight forward.

#6333 (2 of 2 today)
Dinner with friends in The Shire tonight, but before that I noticed that three multis would progress my next Museum Souvenir.
So targeted them, but could only get good coordinates out of two of them. Hmmm.
Picked up both I solved successfully, and got to my friends almost on time.

Found with sesblocker.
We needed a cache today for our caching calendar and I just happened to be in the vicinity of the memorial.
Nice easy find at GZ, although a bit paranoid about snakes on this hot day.

Having seen the CO'a name on many logs down near Canberra that they've collected on ACT caching runs it was a thrill for me to put my name on the log of this great multi. war memorials are all special places. This one now ringed by ovals and tennis courts and a sporting club - the bustle and athleticism an echo of the youth that served in all these wars. I collected the info for this one as the sun went down and having middle-aged eyes caused a slight error but the checker saved me. a short walk lead me into the bushes and I initially thought the darkness would get the better of me but it forces you to concentrate. a quick scan with my phone's torch lead me to the camouflaged cache. Tftc.
TFTC Brew. Great placement of the cache. Instructions were crystal clear so that the co-ords were right the first time. Lest we forget.
Did a check. It's there! But I didn't notice the many geocoins. But I wasn't looking for them. Has someone taken them and forgot to log them? Brew
Finally had the opportunity to attempt this one today. Luck was on my side with car parking. Found container after a short search. Picked up TB.

Fifth cache for the morning. After parking in the nearby carpark I wandered over to the memorial and collected the required information before retiring to the stone wall seating to do the calcs. Brilliant; success from the geo checker the first time. Punched in the co-ords and saw that wp2 was some 300metres away. Will I drive or walk? I'll walk' but why did I walk in the opposite direction back past the car into oblivion? Turned around and headed in the right direction passing the car again, will I drive? No I'll walk. Walking across the netball courts I suddenly realised that number two daughter lives in that tall apartment block. Probably be at work so I continued walking all the way around. Approaching GZ the periscope goes off; PDU from somewhere in the country. Stopped to listen before diving in among the trees for a quick find. TFTC Brew an a fav point for running me around.
#1808 well this multi took a lot longer than I thought it would got to listed early Saturday morning before any of the games had started. Took down the info and sat in my car to work out my calculations. Got coords and plugged them into the GPSr & thought that wouldn't be where I thought it would be so headed off there. When I approached GZ must have something wrong so headed back to the start to go through my options found something that my fading eyesight missed first time around and got new coords in a place where I thought it would be.
This time I had to contend with all the drivers trying to get a carparking space close enough to the netball so they wouldn't be late. Didn't take long to locate the cache
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the multi Brewmaker

Another classic Brewmaker multi!
Was out at the nearby shops when I decided to stop by and try this multi. Collected the required info and after a few fault starts I eventually got some sensible numbers and calculated a likely GZ. Strolled over to GZ under the shadow of the rising smoke from the bushfire and once there it was a quick find of a good sized container. Signed the log but no sign of all the trackables listed in the cache. Cache is in good order.
This is another great multi from this CO. Brings you to a location for some interesting history and maths! A perfect combo and some nice points for Geosports!

After stuffing up the numbers and sums a few times I finally got the ok to go. Made my way to GZ only to find a primary school cross country running past. Here I am skulking around the bushes like Mr Creep but I managed to locate cache and made out like a bandit with all Jaybeem’s loot. Thanks everyone.
Tftc! Whoever comes here next hits the jackpot! Leaving 7 new geo coins many of them collectible. Happy caching!
A mistake and a typo meant I had to use the geochecker a few more times the I'd have liked. After that a straightforward two part multi. TFTC
I love a good Multicache! Sometimes you have to go somewhere before you can get to where you want to be. So it is with war and peace, as we remember and respect those who gave their lives, so we can enjoy the peace and security that we cherish. Lest We Forget! TFTC Brewmaker

Found all the info quickly..then we had to figure out parking. Ev had a hunch that there'd be parking in the area. So we drove around and he was right! Reverse parked (coz we were discussing spies) and went to find cache. Gz was spotted quickly and logbook signed!

With the long weekend upon us, plans were in place with FurfacesLL to head towards Helensburgh to do the newly released puzzle series and what ever comes up. Yesterday we did Helensburgh, around the Shire, drove to Sydney Harbour Bridge and then back to accommodation. Today we attacked a few more in the shire, then to Wollongong to reclaim the SES unfound we had last time, then towards Bowral, and even Goulburn [:p] Apologies for the generic logs.
Parked up, obtained information then rechecked as we thought we had made an error based on GZ. Turns our no error. We almost got knocked out by a local being Greg Norman haha fortunately he was watching us more than we were watching him. Cache location, signed and replaced.
Thanks heaps to FurfacesLL for another awesome weekend away, thanks Brewmaker for the cache placement [^]

We headed out on a geocaching weekend with Rapidlywild to collect the new puzzle trail in Helensburg and others along the way. The weather was not kind on Saturday on our trek up, in fact it was downright revolting at times, but we persevered through the rain, flooded roads and detours to collect the smileys.
After a full day and night of caching and grabbing a few hours sleep, we woke to a lovely sunny morning, so we collected a few more around Cronulla before starting our return leg to Canberra. On our way home we decided to return to an area which the last time we visitted had been flooded, so we called past and collected the ones that we previously DNF'd.

My final find if the day.
Local school kids were playing tennis near to the memorial but I collected the info easily enough then sat down to do my sums.
First attempt was knocked back by the checker but it was only a typo, my maths isn't that bad !
A short walk on to GZ where the well camo'd cache was found.
There's lots of lovely green space around here.

I had time for one more cache before I had to pick up YGAT at a nearby event. I chose this one as I'm trying to lift my multi count.
This is an excellent multi. The instructions are clear and there is a nice walk to GZ.
Thanks again Brewmaker.

I first gave this a crack last year whilst me son played soccer nearby, we only play here from out of area once a year. I had made a single error on part 1 and when I finally was correct and confirmed with the CO it was too dark so I waited until we were back again this time bringing geo friends with me to share this one, we roll like that in a sharing is caring way!
Off we went and soon found it, I stuffed the cache with lots of trinkets before heading back to the oval just in time to watch the Camden Tigers beat Hurtsville in a heated game! Glad to mark this one off. Thanks Brewmaker for the communication last time and for creating this multi.

Thanks to the dedication of Pitman Clan checking the coordinates here with the CO, we were able to search out the cache while one of PC's kids played soccer here. Gabstar and I followed PC's lead, and it was the one of the geo-kidlets that made the find once we hit GZ. Well... it was more at his level than ours! lol TFTC!
One of the nearby sporting facilities were in use by school kids, but the area around the monument was clear for me to get the required info. Jus as it started to rain. So instead of walking I drove closer to gz for a shorter walk. Lucky I did as it started to come down much heavier after I found the cache.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I was out and about nearby and saw that there was a Multi Cache here. And a fitting time to find it being the day after Anzac Day.
Quickly had the final coordinates in hand but wasn't sure how to reach it. In the end I was right beside it without realising. So it was just a short walk over and then I was at GZ. A quick scout around there and I saw something that might be the cache hide. On closer inspection there it was. Signed the log and replaced it as found. TFTC

Brewmaker I found your cache Lest We Forget on 26/3/17, 12:29 pm. This is my find #1842 and find #4 today. Gathered all the information, made the calculations and took off for GZ. Geodog enjoyed the open spaces, after a quick search, CIH and log signed. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
I grabbed the required info a week or more ago and calculated the final which was to wait for another day. Some great panels at the start to read over. Today I was back to finish off and after parking a short walk brought me to GZ and a quick find. I am hoping one day there will be no scope to put a cache here (nothing against the cache but it would be great to see some progress here). TFTC!
After a rather long caching hiatus, this is the first in quite a while. It brought a nice and interesting experience, TFTC!

15/10/16. 8:55 AM. Cache #4312.
3rd of 3 finds (& 1 DNF) today - Bellevue Hill, Coogee, Miranda, Gymea.
I started the morning getting two new caches from the eastern suburbs. "Sunset Ridge 2" and "South Coogee wetlands". With these done, the eastern suburbs back to cleared again, at least until the next publish. So, a change of location; off to The Shire, where I hoped to get a bunch but only ended up finding this one.
The council carpark near the memorial was empty enough at this hour. Getting to the various parts of the memorial, I had the WP to myself and proceeded to gather the required information, which was easily found. I double checked my calculation with evince just in case and it was good to go. I decided to drive closer to save a bit of time. Headed across country and then a small bush bash to GZ. I tried looking in one direction and saw nothing; made my way around an obstacle and then made an easy find. Signed log and replaced.
Next I thought I'd see how I go at getting a few caches around Gymea. I had about 45 minutes of caching time left before I'd need to head back. Half an hour later and I had DNF'd "The Village" and was a bit fed up, so grabbed a coffee and headed home. TFTC.

TFTC,
Back in the area after 3 months away and it's time to try and clear my 5Km radius again. I don't think it will happen very soon.
#7 for today. Wazza made a simple mistake with the maths and spent 10 minutes driving around a block where a High voltage transmission tower is that has no public access to it. Time to check and soon on our way to where a now archived Elizabeth Carter cache once lived and had a quick find. Visited a group of trackables.
After yesterdays big effort to complete a 5/5 for my 4,000th find, it was back to basics today. What a day it has been with 11 found caches, left 3 trackables for others to move on and took 1 trackable to travel with for a while.
As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it or adding a comment to my logs. If you find a card, it provides a number for a trackable so you can "Discover me". It is for the Event Mascot. There is also the Web page address "red.ozmega.com.au" and a facebook page.

Found all the correct information, then off to find, but didn't work that one correctly, soon got the right GZ, a quick find on arrival. Thanks to Brewmaker.
I really enjoyed this cache. The concept was great and was very logical. Well done Brewmaker . A favorite point from me
Last night when we came back from the open night at the Green Point Observatory GeoDirk and I got the data for the container, but he didn't want to go with me into the forest at night. So today we came back and completed the quest. Log signed, and we're done!
Visited while out walking geodog. Yes -a bit of trail to the hide! Might need to fix that? All good here. Keep looking for it.
So happy to have found this one. Bit upset that geotwin (3 yrs) found cache before me!! Found with Jeanovanwam
Missa25 has been after this one for a few weeks and we just never got around to it! TFTC I used to walk through here on the way to the bus after high school and sometimes hid in these bushes when I didn't want to go to high school!
With an hour to kill I shunned Pokemon for some good old fashioned caching and made a quick find after initially messing up my calcs. There's a bit of a trail forming from cachers traipsing through and the camo was easy to spot for an experienced cacher like me. TFTC, this is number 850!
Despite being my number one priority on this morning's brekky run, it was actually my last attempt. With a minor self-correcting error out of the way, I soon had a set of coordinates. I couldn't quite believe it at first but after checking, it all seemed to add up. With time running out, it was a choice of leaving it until next time or go for it. Of course, we all know what the decision was don't we?
So, off I set to GZ hoping that I hadn't made an mistake but sure enough, there was the stash at 08:10 right where Upoj was telling me it would be. Good one.
TNLNSL. Thanks Brewmaker.

Home for the weekend and just needed to get out and find some caches. Been in Canberra all week and not had time to even find one, which was very frustrating! The weather gods certainly weren't suggesting a weekend of outdoor activities, but thankfully there were enough breaks in the rain today to find a few local ones. This one was perfect with enough of a leg stretch to feel I was outside doing something, and of course no muggles in sight. Now off to our nemesis Petros for the fourth time...TFTC Brewmaker! Keep the coming!

Usually my time here is spent watching my son play soccer on the adjacent oval, so a nice change of pace here this morning. Quickly gathered the info then headed off to GZ. Plenty of options up high to hide a cache but I knew better....
