Day #2 Leaping Forward AdventuresAfter leaving my dinner event in town and high tailing it across to Colac for the night, today was a journey to eventually cross the SA border, at some point. How many stops will there be? .Almost thought I needed a ladder as my coords were taking me closer to the river. I began the rock scramble and search and eventually found it.Thanks shelley roberts for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Bullertrout, Nanzie and i are caching our way to Adelaide for the mega. Picking up what we can in the time available. The scramble wasn't as bad as i was expecting although i was a little nervous about what may have been lurking in the rocks. All logs are being signed as BT, N, PC or some variation of that to save space. TFTC shelley roberts#15174

PCNBT TEAM on our trip to join our other caching friends in Adelaide for the Event this was a nice easy find cache thanks shelley roberts

05-Feb-24
We pulled over for this one and LumpyJ took one look at the terrain and declined the challenge. However, LumpyR, determined to not let a steep incline stop us getting another find, went up, searched, found came down with cache so LumpyJ could sign the log, then scrambled back up to replace the cache. Greater love etc!!! Tftc

If it is meant to be on the bridge abutment then it’s not there. If it’s under rocks, I couldn’t be bothered turning over any more than I did.

31-Oct-22
With the recent heavy rain and flooding, getting to this one proved a little hard today

17-Feb-19
An interesting spot for sure.
Another one of which side of the water do we go first.
Spent about 10 minutes to locate .
3LG ventured to the spot whilst The X-Trailers and I pointed the way.
Can imagine this being a cool spot in summer.

17-Feb-19
Found with earthlight and Gwen of The X-Trailers while making our way to Portland.

12-Jan-19
A last minute decision was made with Na'wal, to head down the coast for a lightning visit. With one particular cache being the main focus of our trip, we grabbed a few others as well. The weather was perfect and the caching was awesome. We didn't grab a heap, as we tried to concentrate on quality over quantity.

This was a very frustrating find, as the GPSr kept losing its signal here. After a 20 minute search, we reached out for some help. Wow, how did we miss that !! Not in the place we expected at all.......TFTC shelley roberts Big Grin

12-Jan-19
DAB and I were on the road again, this time more west, which we haven't done for a while. The day was going to be a hot one, so we packed plenty of things to keep us hydrated and had another great day out.

We didn't think this one would give us much trouble after parking the geo wheels safely nearby. But after an extensive search, both of us were cache blind today. We ended up using a PAF to help with an idea of where this one was hiding and thankfully with that help we were able to make the find.

**Thanks shelley roberts for hiding this cache for us to find and enjoy**

09-Jan-19
On this well traveled road,
I managed to get under its skin today Smile
And went looking for this evil little cache Twisted

Twenty minutes of looking later,
and I retreated to daylight to brush the spider webs out of me hair [:o]
I'd given up on this one !! [:o]

But ... after reading the previous finders logs again ...
... I was back for another look Razz
Optimism ??
Pure !! Smile

And a few minutes later,
I spied the cache [:o][:o][:o]

Another well travelled road. TFTC
A trip east to Parkville 2018 had us stopping on the way to collect a few caches and again stopping on the way home. Well that’s what cachers do when they head to a mega don’t they.

23-Nov-18
Now that was different. Clear skies up there?

Found on the Parkville mega event round trip. This cache added to the experience.

Thanks shelley roberts. and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

We are travelling to Adelaide via Warrnambool, Mt Gambier and Victor Harbour. We have stayed in Warrnambool for a couple of nights and today are on our way to Mount Gambier. This was another stop along the way and took us quite a while to locate. GPS lead us astray so we looked at the clue and then located the cache. GPS was showing about 20m at GZ.

On our final day of the road trip with CPwanderer on our way back to Adelaide.
Luckily, the grass was well trodden & the clue pointed us in the right direction.
That certainly had my workout for the day, thanks for the cache & interesting location Shelley Roberts

18-Feb-18
Found with clare007. Our gps had us elsewhere (probably because of the bridge) but the hint made it obvious. Thanks for the hide!!!

I had to attend an appointment in Warrnambool, so I talked HevWalker into joining me on an adventure. This was our first stop, and I hoped to get the sad face off my map. This time I had company and we made a reasonably quick find.
Thanks from mogni Smile

13-Mar-17
Heading home after a fabulous long weekend in and around the Portland area we made sure we turned this DNF into a smiley today. Our last visit was after heavy rains and flooding , leaving us sure that this one had floated away after an extensive search brought up zippo. However on this occasion we spotted it straight away. Thanks for another in this series shelley roberts.

13-Mar-17
Suscoe was wandering the countryside this afternoon.
We had been to Warrnambool and then we headed back over here to catch up on a few caches we missed on Friday.
This took a short search and thankfully we started in the right spot.
Log signed and all good.
Thanks to shelley roberts for this hide.

As previous logs have said - the coords are well off here. However the rest of the information made for an easy enough find.

11-Mar-17
On my way to Portland for today's event. I left Warrnambool early so that I had time to pick up some caches on the way. At first I didn't spot this one, but as my eyes adjusted, I spotted the hide. TFTC shelley roberts.

Travelling to Portland with Liz and Bruce, for the 8 months to Alexandra Event, we chose a route via a number of caches, suitable for a leg stretch stop and hopefully reward both teams with a smiley token.
Satellites today had our GZ 20 metres west of where we found the cache.

Apologies for the late logs, we are still catching up after an almost fatal computer meltdown.

Thanks shelley roberts for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.
