Found this one after a short search of GZ. Seems to of only just survived a rubbish burn off but will need to be replaced as lid is badly damaged. Returned as found.
Our first find, container is a bit brittle, we didn't have one to replace it. Thank you
Checked on cache this afternoon. It is still there albeit amongst extra growth since the rain
This was one of a few caches that Yeah09 and I found whilst travelling from my sisters house in St Arnaud, north to try and find the most northern spot in Victoria. We were ultimately unsuccessful in finding the spot, but we did find this cache. Our weekend was cut short on Saturday the 24th of September when we discovered that we both had COVID and had to return home to Melbourne to isiolate.
Waking up in Swan Hill after our unsuccessful attempt to find the northern point of Victoria yesterday, we started caching our way to Bendigo where we were supposed to be at a 40th birthday party. Obviously we never went to the party, but there were a few caches we did find before testing ourselves and finding a positive result. This was one of them.
Nope, we couldn't find this one anywhere. We spent 15 minutes or so searching, but nothing. Afterwards we went and tested ourselves as we both had a bit of a cough and we were due to attend a party. Thats when BANG... both positive. Soon as our results came in, we got in the car, made no further contact with anyone and headed the 4 hour drive back home. Not what we had planned. Oh well.

Quick stop, had to be quick as so close to a residence with occupants and a dog.

Another lovely discovery on our stay at Kerang. A misty, drizzly day so out for a drive. The pub looks good and caravan facilities for patrons. TFTC
After 2 days of rain, we have escaped the van and back on the caching trail. Some of the roads are tricky and some of our planned caches didnt eventuate because of our desire not to end up bogged. So pleased to be brought out to this little community, might well stay at the pub on our next trip around. Tftc
The long weekend is upon us and after organising to pick something up from Strathmerton in the morning, I checked the map before hand and here is a place that I have not visited before.
I guy I work with stayed here in January and recommend that it was worth a visit.
So after detouring via Conargo to see if the pub has finished being rebuilt (not open yet) I arrived at my destination.
After touring around Moulamein yesterday and spending a great night in my cabin at the pub that overlooked the Edwards River it was on to my next destination.
I was taking the less travelled roads which usually meant dirt roads but that was fine by me.
Made it to my planed destination Lake Boga and after visiting the museum it was time to head back south due to the place being booked out and of course going by the less travelled back roads.
Mystic Park had a great looking pub and had I realised it was there I would tried to stay the night there.
GPS lead me to a spot and the cache was quickly spotted as it was out in the open.
Signed the log and tried to rehide it a bit better.
Thanks Hercs&pinky TFTC.

It’s MEGA Road Trip time!! A plan is hatched and we are good to go.
DAY THIRTEEN: Another stinking hot day, so just ducking out for one multi to fill a calendar grid.
Ok, so maybe also a trad or two while we’re in town.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Hercs&pinky

Took a bit of work to find this cache. The coordinates are good. Do get distracted by your geosense.
e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found as I made my way from Adelaide to the Mega event at Wangaratta with Freddo.
We meandered our way across northern Victoria, camping along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks. We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other caches opportunistically as we were passing.
Thanks Hercs & pinky for the cache.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
Quick find using the hint.

Suscoe headed out for a trip to the west and north west of Kerang today.
It was a sunny day, it got quite warm as the day passed by.
We saw some terrific country out here and visited some places that we have never been to before.
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide, took us a few laps before we could locate the cache.
Must be the heat???????

With so many caches to be sought around Swan Hill we had to book an extra night's accommodation.
A couple of years back we discovered the "H & P stamping ground" and it was exciting to add our name to the log of another cache marking the site of a closed school - quick find today.
Our thanks to 'Hercs&pinky' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Day #10 of the adventure although it’s day 1 of adventures on my own as the others had to go home. Aim of the day is to explore Kerang and some of its surrounding lakes.
Wasn’t sure where the gps was taking me. It looked a little overgrown but the cache wasn’t actually that hard to find in the end
Thanks Hercs&pinky for placing the hide!

Couldn't find, due to some wet grass. Did find a dead baby snake though. Too many rocks to search.
Did a few laps here but the coords are sound and eventually pointed me to the correct spot

We decided to head up to Reedy Lake for a long weekend of free camping in a cool spot. It was a lovely spot and we collected a few caches along the way. We had intended to come for tea tomorrow night at the famous local pub but it was booked out so we came tonight instead. We scored a spectacular sunset as we searched for the cache.

GPS gave us the run around here, but we got there in the end. SL and replaced to it's hidey spot
Grabbing some smilies while the harvest is halted by bad weather. There are many disappeared towns around. Most disappeared schools have the outlined area with surviving gum trees but not here. The nearby hotel seems out of place, however, good luck to it.

As we headed from Swan Hill to Bendigo today, we stopped along the way to look for some caches. This was one of them.
Despite accurate coordinates and the hint, it took a few minutes of hunting to locate this cache as there were a number of possible hiding spots within a small area. Then we saw the tell tale sign. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hercs&pinky for the cache and others you have placed in the area.

A fun stop in this Mystical Place took me to somebody's lounge room view
At least they were not at home,
so after 10 minutes of poking around,
no cache I did find

Great little find on our travels around district. Lid was stuck so returned to spot but couldn’t sign. Thanks
Did not find. Didn’t want to disturb residents next door! Too many bushes, could be snakes
**Out and about around en route to Swan Hill**...
*Grabbing a few smilies along the way with Sully and The Empire*...
A nice quick find too (always good).
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Hercs&pinky. Without Geocaching I would never have found so many interesting places in my travels.

My second visit here and this time brought my daughter and her younger eyes. She found it in no time TFTC
Found by The Empire @ 2pmish with Snap Happy and sully
On my way to the '6 Months to the event in Alexandra - Swan Hill' event! After bypassing Bendigo, I detoured through Terrick Terrick, then onto Pyramid Hill for the earthcache. Snap Happy chased an old Steam Train and I chased Snap Happy. We ended up miiiles away from caches and after heading back to the main road we ended up in Kerang. Caught up with sully for some lunch, now on our way to Swan Hill. Thanks for the cache, Hercs&pinky.

Found on the way to Swan Hill for the Lunch event tomorrow along with SnapHappy and The Empire. A pretty quick find, and we were off, we were all in need of coffee now. Thanks to Hercs&pinky for another of your hides, and nice to see you again so soon. Cheers, Lisa
5714 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1115 on a drive around the district. Left Red Centre Experience 2017 Easter Event trackable cards for the next finder. The camo hadn't been replaced on this hide and it was quite easy to see. Love the theme. SL Tnx H&p
A nice quick find in the drizzling rain this morning.

Pretty in pink alright, it's pink, pink and pink. Found it after a bit of a search. Took a while but sussed it out in the end. Great hide, nice location. Had to keep an eye on the work-men up the road making a new footpath...just for the pub. TFTC. SL. Took a swap and left a loom-band. Thanks for bringing us to this spot. Cheers.Oh. forgot to say it was Pinky's virgin log-book, so, a FTF. Thanks Pinky.
Muggle partner and I had left Victoria on the late in the day on the 13th, after completing the Lake Eildon GeoTour, for a mad dash back to Adelaide to attend the birthday party for 2 of the grandchildren
Yesterday we arose at 1am and left home at 1.30am to head back to Victoria to complete the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series with some fantastic company
We stayed in Heathcote last night and then travelled home today via Mt Pilot and Tresco
Crazy...maybe but then again, I am a geocacher
On the way home I managed to find 12 caches and 2 of those were FTFs I also had 2 DNFs on possible FTF caches
DNF! Knowing that this was a possible FTF we stopped here for a look but your cache hiding skills were just too good for us tonight It is nearly midnight and we've still got a long drive ahead so I'm conceeding defeat and leaving this unfound
