Tftc. Quick easy find as it was sitting out in the open, covered it in a few more rocks for a better hide. The dogs must have been good today as we didnt hear a single bark on arrival
Have been dodging the rain all day but managed to find this one before I got really wet
We felt sorry for the neighbours who had to listen to the barking dogs but decided to proceed nonetheless. Done and dusted now. Tftc.
Picked up Detofinbars and headed to Burra for lunch and beers with a mate that I played cricket against over 30 years ago. He's currently on holidays visiting his parents and relatives. Picked him up and he joined us and learned about geocaching, as well as a magnificent, guided tour and history of the Burra area after a great lunch. With little or no internet, we still manage to get a few caches around the town. We also got a few on the way there and home. Overall a fantastic day was had. TFTCFound with a lot of barking from nearby dogs.
We did pull up to find the cache but setting off all the neighbourhood dogs during the day wasnt very stealthy. May return another time..thanks anyway
Well... OK... This was really dodgy. Naughtybunny and I felt really exposed when the dogs started barking as we walked up to GZ. Not only the dogs that were in the nearby property, but also the dogs that were up the street and the dogs that were down the street. In fact - every damn dog in the neighbourhood. As I grabbed the cache (which was found right away), a person came out of the house to drag one of the dogs away. Just had to wait till he went back inside before I could place it back. TNLN. Cheers.
The 2 dogs at the adjacent property did not like us being there! I felt really intrusive here, hope the neighbours are hard of hearing!TFTC Kennedysupercats
The dog at the house near GZ did not appreciate us being here. With Squib Esquire!
I replaced cache as it was filled with soggy paper will send pic to CO!

Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Walked from town. The neighbours 3 dogs alerted him to our presence- he knew about the cache and directed us to it Log sheets are wet and mouldy. Needs attention.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Today, we are exploring beautiful Burra and some of the surrounding countryside. Thanks for the hide here.
Just as I was about to retrieve cache, the neighbour from the house next door pulled up. Had to wait till he was gone inside, then an easy find. TFTC

Cache find _ on day _ of Rutherglen trip now on to work trip to Adelaide.
Came to gz and wondered where it would be hidden before I spotted it straight away. The dogs there would not stop barking at me. I quickly hid the cache back before the owner came out to shut up the dogs.
Thanks for placing this cache McSupercats

On our travels stopped to grab a couple of caches, a nice quick find although the log is a bit wet, thanks for placing this cache
My second attempt at this one. The first time we were put off by the nearby barking dogs & it just felt a little hard to be stealthy. This time, I ignored them & made the find anyway. Log book is damp. TFTC!
The logs - scraps of paper - are damp, so I signed only GW. I didn't check all the logs, but some I spotted went something like:
"For a good time call (phone number)"
"Stay away"
Something about dogs.
Sad this is happening, but CO needs to visit.

Needs a CO visit to replace the log, and read the messages, to see if any are 'important'.
Took a few minutes. The resident dog was very keen to help and the resident gave us a bit of help as well. Cache OK
Felt a bit awkward foraging around near the houses. But found easily enough. A lot of scraps of paper are being used as log sheets.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Last cache for the day as I toured around tidying up the few remaining unfound caches in the immediate Burra area. Headed to GZ and parked closeby. Left engine running and wandered to GZ spotting the cache as I got close. Bent over and got out the log. As I was signing, the dogs from the nearby property decided to come over and scare the !@#$ out of me. Finished signing the log and then replaaced all as found. Then back to the car to calm down before heading back to our accommodation.

Such a grand entry statement.
If only these could talk and tell us the history.
It's great to be able to travel and see so many quaint little country towns.
As we meander down towards GeoVenture 2020 (in 2021), Millicent, we stopped to put a smiley here.
It's wonderful to explore SA through the eyes of a Geocacher,
especially when it takes us to such interesting places.
We found your cache and with signing duties done and dusted,
we replace the cache as found.
Thanks for sharing this interesting location.

quick find. slowly clearing out burra.
found with Mogni. Headed out in the general direction of clare and planned to clean out clare before the June Long Weekend End Event in 2022. As usual there was ALOT of caches found before then and only a couple of caches where found in clare before staying in Farrel Flat for the night. The next day was cleaning out Burra and slowly making our way home. Damn doing multi's takes so long, since the final has a habit of not being in the direction you are planning to go next. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and logs found wet where replaced, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

It was school holidays and I needed a break from school and chores and needed to just have some fun. I talked sir_spectre into joining me for a weekend away caching near Clare and Burra. We avoided the big towns and focused on the caches we normally drive past on the way to somewhere else. Any caches that needed some attention got it.
Thanks to McSupercats from mogni

Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 10, Jamestown to Burra.
Unfortunately not the most attractive part of Burra. Fortunately Ol spotted it before we started moving the many rocks around the area

Team Honda off on a journey for a week to escape the Covid madness and chase Yellow Faces to reduce the city stresses.
Thanks to the caching community to ensure we have plenty to search for. If it were not for them, we would not be at this hide today.

Staying at Burra for a couple of nights. Whilst checking out historic sites did some geocaching. Town is very well kept, great shops & gardens. Tftc
Found during our trip to Burra for a few days, staying out in the campground at Redbanks. Interesting to wander around the historic buildings, the mines, and tour the township. Thanks for the cache Kennedysupercats!
Felt dodgy here finding this one as it is right near people’s houses
Today I headed from Adelaide up north caching my way along from cache to cache and found myself in Peterborough for the evening. Stopped at Clare and Burra along the way as well as doing a few lab caches. Roughly 80 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Tftc! A few miggles watching from behind a car but managed to sink down and snatch a smiley
Dog started barking as soon as we made an attempt, bailed, felt wrong so close to houses.
While staying in Burra for a few days we are sightseeing and grabbing a few caches as we wander around in this beautiful historic town.
This was our first find this morning. Many thanks for the hide Kennedysupercats

I was staying at World's End camping ground for a few days with some muggle friends before we headed to Broken Hill. Today I headed into Burra and stopped for a few caches along the way. [^]
Had read a few logs and I was glad that this was a quick find, as the dog was barking and just as I was replacing the cache the home owners got into their car and drove out the driveway. Not sure if they know about this cache. [?]
