This morning I attended the Rockier Saturday Social at Rocks Riverside Park and afterwards I told everyone that I needed to go home and prod my teenagers to do some study. When I arrived at home they were both working hard and I realised that they didn't need me around, so I headed out for the afternoon and drove down to Beenleigh to search for a few more caches with the off-road attribute. After visiting the Dead End 2.0 cache at the end of Eaglby Rd, I decided to grab of few of the Do you believe in...? caches in the area. I enjoyed a lovely walk through the bush from one cache to another and then arrived at an obvious hiding spot for a troll cache. Another quick find and this one is still in great condition. Thanks for the cache placement Sewrainbow and for the ongoing maintenance RoddyC!
Out and about early this morning to pick up a few caches while the geowife completes a course. Made my way to the south side and quickly made my way to ground zero, where it didnt take long to locate the prize.Log extracted and signed. Replaced safely and off on the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
Teamed up with Snickersallan, Granny Smith 1947 and chamad on the hunt for the Multis Jigsaws, Wherigos and whatever took our fancy whilst out on our travels within the Logan shire. What a fantastic selection of caches and containers on offer for GC LOGAN event. It was great to be with my usual buddies, delightful to meet up with new ones and strengthening our ties. Thanks so much to GC Logan team for arranging events and placing caches for our enjoyment.
We have been attending all of the GCLogan activities and events; enjoying the events and caching activities, I teamed up with Bluewattle, Grannysmith and Snickersallan as we worked our way around the areas collecting the new caches, and even some older ones. We managed to attend most events, a few citos and some meal events. It was great to see the many different faces turning up to the different events. Today we are heading to a few caches and a couple of the events. Our team was happy to grab a whereigo or a UGO as they are known down this way. I am glad we got to do these as a group, we always seem to run into issues like the phone dying or the app dies off so there is safety in numbers. We then started a few multi caches as well. Between events and cache runs we also stopped at a few to clean out an area or stopped at for a particular reason. This was one of those that we did on the way and early this morning, we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for placing.
GCLOGAN Day 3Out with TBU1BIKESU and Grumpy Bumpy Found the cache and signed the log Tftc . RoddyC
We came from the wrong side and worked us through the bush......After starting the day with a paddle on the Logan River, we continued to search for couple of caches - before heading to the Flash Mob event. This was one of our finds . We signed the log.Tftc RoddyC
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - RoddyC [^]
This was a pleasant stroll. The only sounds were bird calls until I saw GZ. I'm afraid I called you some unkind names, thinking I was going to get muddy. However, the GPSr was insistent about the location, and sure enough, I stayed clean and dry while signing the log.
Visiting from NZ and using the opportunity to find enough caches to earn the Cosmic souvenir.A muggle motorcyclist was using the trails here with his young son on board. There were several branches poking out on to the narrow track, so I helped him clear some of them out of the way. Once he had moved on, it was a nice quick find here thx. TFTC
Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance. I bush bashed to a piece of infrastructure I was not expecting to see. A short hunt and a freshly replaced cache was found.
Went to have a look at this one but decided to come back once council have mowed and have another go.
GC6J2JN Do you believe in... Trolls?Out for a day of caching with KerriMG. Well I believe in billy goats so I guess by association yes. We did not take the T1.5 route in but got there we did. It was a quick find and retraced our non T1.5 steps out. TFTC RoddyC
I took the recommendation and walked from the pixie cache, enjoying the lovely meandering bush track through to this cache. Once there, we quickly uncovered the cache. It was slightly damp but still singable. We then got to enjoy the bush path in reverse as we returned to our car. Thanks RoddyC
What a lovely Trail through bushland in the middle of suburbia. Enjoyed my wander through here to GZ where the cache was found safe but just a little damp. TFTC
Found this one after looking around and under things, get a little muddy noticed this one has been hit by the weather.
Great little cache, it’s all in the name! Accessible via track no need to walk through the bush!
Hot tip park on pixie hollow court and follow the path around. Saves you bush bashing. TFTC
This evening, it was a trip down south to Beenleigh to attend the [Logan Geocaching Catch Up](https://coord.info/GC9ZMGK) Event. Traffic congestion was terrible, but it was a good chance to find a few geocaches in Eagleby prior to the event, and then grab a couple of geocaches in Belivah prior to heading home.
I seriously thought that this cache would have disappeared in the January-February heavy rains / flood event, and note that the last time this cache was found was in December 2021. Having made multiple trips to the area, I thought I'd allow someone else to check on the cache first (following Jan-Feb), before making the trek, but with a small time window before tonight's event, I thought I'd take a look. I saw a small park in line with this geocache off Copperhead Drive, so that was the route that I took. There was a bit of bush bashing, and everything was wet from the drizzle/rain during the day, so it wasn't the best idea to pursue this cache. However, on route, I did find a small drone that must have come down in the last few months, so that was a nice find.
As I closed on GZ, I did find this rather cool boardwalk that wasn't on any of my maps, and so I had thought about where the cache would be. Amazingly, the cache was still here, and it had been submerged and stuck in the mud, but it was likely the mud that was ensuring it wasn't washed away! Consequently, for the most part, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Sewrainbow for the cache placement, and RoddyC for its ongoing maintenance.

Went about getting this cache from the wrong starting point.. found cache and a nice pathway out..
Third time lucky for this one, following recent logs I got on the right path this time and found the cache. I don't know about trolls but I was greeted by this cache guardian ...

Catching up on family day out.
On this side of town for another purpose , but decided to grab some caches while here.
Enjoyable walk...as long as you go the right way.

This cache would be great ... if you want to put your life in danger !!! Hard pass !
Was not expecting to find the GZ that I did.
Came at this one through the low hanging trees by Embley Court. As the path began to narrow between the bush and backyards, I began to wonder if I was going the wrong way. Then it began to widen and and a great little path appeared. Found the cache with the wind blowing in the tall grass and the leaves of the paperbacks.

Butterflies.... butterflies... and even more butterflies...
But no trolls... ️
Left a Tb, was half way out and read RoddyC’s last maintenance log, felt guilty, returned and retrieved the Tb... the log was quite damp, so I’ve double bagged it with some silica... it still functions though... oh and left some American coin... tftc... and I’ve kept to my midday time limit... woo hoo...

Checked out our Eagleby caches today. Happy to say there is a new cache here, as it looks as if the previous may have floated away!
It's my last week in Australia for a while, unless I'm stranded here, so what better way to cram in the caches than to join RoddyC for another maintenance run. Today we went round lots of hides in the Eagleby area, not just Rod's and got quite a haul.
Here we discovered that the cache was gone, probably swept away in the floods. We replaced it. Tftc and UTV

Out caching with CaptainVimes. We enjoyed a pleasant stroll along the path to GZ. When we arrived I immediately spotted the container in plain sight. Contents were mostly dry except for the log which was saturated. Stamped it as best we could and replaced where we thought it should go. Thanks for the cache
Lance Constable Bluejohn went missing - three days we searched. Turned out that the large boulder that magically turned up in in front of the palace was Bluejohn. This summer has got him hard.
Walked to this one from Pixie as advised, and it was a nice easy walk to GZ. Once there though, my GPS was stupidly pointing in completely the wrong direction and of course this threw me initially. I soon had my caching eyes back on and spotted the sneaky hide exactly where it should be! TFTC!
With Patrol 14 pickuping up a cache or two as we go on a lovely Saturday afternoon.
Sad to see the cache was not in place. Hope it is still there for the next finder.

We walked to this one from ‘Pixie’ and what a lovely walk it is too. Such a delight on this pleasant day where the temperatures have finally become quite lovely. The cache has been unloved for a while and we had difficulty spotting it. Our co-ords seemed to be out but we had trouble with the app after the next cache so the co-ords being out for us may have been our problem.
After a PAF brought us in the right direction the cache was found in good condition and we gladly signed the log.
Cheers and happy caching!

Today’s plan was to get a few caches to accumulate some of the souvenirs available for the Hidden Creatures challenge. Met up with gunnie69 at Eagleby who had an ambitious plan for the day. It started with questioning our beliefs in mythical creatures, finishing off a series of ones around Mt Warren Park.
Cache 2 of 29 for the day.
Thanks RoddyC for the hunt and the cache!

Ghostgums and I certailny didn't choose the right parking spot for this one, but it looked like the closest approach point, so we headed in and hoped for the best. That didn't work our brilliantly and we had to follow the back fenceline of the nearby houses, in order to find the path. We were also greeted by the full of life blue heeler as we strolled and what a bundle of energy he is, as he jumped the six foot fence back into his yard...
All that out fo the way, we followed the path, found GZ and split up to tackle both sides. I spotted the container and brought it out for business. Names in the log, it was tucked back and we headed to the next icon before wandering back to the car.
Cheers Sewrainbow and RoddyC.

Beware

Was out and about today and saw this cache on the map and thought of finding it . I parked Pixie Hollow CT and walked down the trail to reach GZ. After a quick search a GZ the cache was soon found . Thanks for the cache RoddyC . TFTC!!!
We didn't really scope this one out as well as we should have!
We opted to drive closer from Pixie but should really have started at Pixie Hollows CT. A local put us right when he casually said there was a nice walk just up further with a little wooden bridge. We thanked him and went on our way (we knew we were looking for a bridge)
After reading others logs we were expecting cache to be in a somewhat different position to where we actually found it.
Cache found safe and dry in the end where you would expect to find it. After signing log and safely replacing for next person we were on our way.
We are really thankful to the CO's who place, monitor and look after these caches for our enjoyment.
Thanks RoddyC

We had parked on Copperfield Drive, but it would be easier to park on another “magical” street - Pixie Hollow Ct
Very wet cache, due to being in a wet hide...Will need a new logbook, although some temporary pages are currently in situ. Thanks RoddyC
Found it. Water inside the cach, and the log to wet too sign. Owner maintenance required. Nice little walking trail though. TFTC.
Off on another venture and a quick find resulted. It was a pleasant walk along that track/ bike track and across a little bridge. Sadly another very wet log and this one was too wet to get it out of the bag, photo taken. Replaced as found but I need to take spare logs with me in future. TFTC
Gorgeous bit of bushland here. I rounded the corner and saw a trolls hideout. The log and contents were damp but I was surprised it hadn't been washed away. Tftc
My gps was taking me elsewhere but with the title... searched more and found it! Thanks for the cache!!
Wednesday geocaching in the Eagleby area with Team Benders. Trolls? Gotta be on a bridge. We parked near 'Pixies" then walked the delightful pathway along to a walkway (alias bridge). Team Benders soon spotted the cache hiding place and logging duties were done. I wondered where this path led to. Map check - Oh! It leads to Pixie Hollow Court. Of course it would!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 10.05am on 14th December 2016. TFTC

Out with RoddyC to find a few caches in the area.
Headed to this cache next which was a nice walk.
Arrived at GZ and I pointed to where I thought it was and it was quickly retrieved.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Sewrainbow All good with this cache

Geomum stayed sitting in the shade at the previous cache while I made my way to this one. My phone kept insisting that the cache was over there....but my geosenses said it was elsewhere. I stuck to my thoughts and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
I am heading to Tweed head and have allowed a few days caching along the way from Toowoomba.
Over 2 half days and 2 full days caching I found over 130 caches.
Today was my second full day caching and found over 50 caches again.
Found after a short search.
Thanks for the cache.

As there aren't a lot of full day's caching around home anymore we decided to head south & pick up some smilies on a few newer releases & a couple of oldies but goodies.
After a quick find at 'Pixies' we enjoyed the short walk along the path to this GZ.
Another nice quick find.
All good with the cache.

A nice quick find on a morning out with Mrs. Thanks for placing these caches. Tftc
Finally found the path after reading the other logs, travel down the hill first. A quick find while having a lovely sit down, travel bug is missing. Tftc
Tough Mothers day out. ...A surprise it was still there with the signs of a decent water flow.
Out for a day of caching with Snickersallan. Met up with the Tough Mothers group a couple of times while searching around the area. Loved all the caches for their variety and also got to see a suburb that you would normally miss if driving to Brisbane. Thanks Sewrainbow for the effort and planning you put into this series.
A very enjoyable series found on a day out caching with joojoo57. Half way through the morning we came across a likely group of people doing what we were doing, they turned out to be the Tough Mothers, it was certainly nice to meet them all. Thanks Sewrainbow for your well though out series and TFTC.
