Hi sheltz1,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. The cache is being temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current COVID19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue.
CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO. Don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.
#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and Victorian Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain this cache now, please feel free to do so.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you expect/hope you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
#Please Note#
When the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
**JUST A HINT:-** In case you are not aware, there is a new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own. Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Last time we came to seek this there were bike riding muggles everywhere. Somehow we missed the Wednesday night warning. Ah well coming back as geokid #2 and her hubby have moved back to town. Doc found this one relatively easy. Cheers for the Star Trek reference. TFTC our 300th.
searched for 40 minutes and could not find. this is my first geocache however, so could just be that. hasn’t been found by anyone in a while, a lot of leaves falling so could have just been buried.
Took me forever , but finally found it with my almost 5years old dayghter. Beautiful view..Thanks
**Found after the nearby St Arnaud lead up event**
Out and about with muggle father and a few other caching teams.
Thanks for the cache. Appreciate your efforts.

We looked and looked, lots of new bark around and landscaping... maybe it’s buried?
DNF but if it had a been a better day I might have actually doing a big walk walked out to this one and when I got there the wind was that strong i was almost getting blown over so decided I might go and have a look out there another day when I'm not having to fight the wind to stand up.
First day in Portland with BettyBoo3747, The Morris, and beckNmonts.
Today we started with some diving in the morning, and a bit of caching in the afternoon.
There were a few very junior BMX riders here today, but we would have to say they probably rode it better than we could!
Fortunately, there were not using the start line.
Thanks, Robmc.

We are in Portland for a few days with Robmc, BettyBoo and beckNmonts. After some of the party went scuba diving this morning and then lunch we headed around town doing some caches. There was some riders about but not where we needed to be.
It was a fun day thanks sheltz1

#14183. Our first day in Portland and after a quiet morning wandering around town with the geodogs we all went out to gather up a few caches in the afternoon.
I thought this would have been a lot busier on a Saturday afternoon - well there was nearby with other sports but not right at GZ. It is a nice looking BMX track though. At GZ we scrambled around for a quick find. The log sheet is totally full on both sides and nees replacing urgently.
Thanks sheltz1

We walked to ground zero to find the cache, whilst trying to work out how many lanes my jimny would need. Only two I think. The cache was soon found, although finding some space on the log to sign our names was difficult. TFTC sheltz1
No racing happening today !!
So I enjoyed the stroll in the fresh air,
to GZ.
There I found the cache in the first place I looked

With all the recent rain and the dismal overcast nature of the evening this place was deserted as expected. A reasonably quick find was made here as a result. TFTC
Nice little cache.
My resident student ‘expert’ found it on a school mapping experience. TFTC.

With luck on our side with no racing or sport events on today we quickly had the cache in hand. Great caching day with hevwalker. TFTC
We had come to this cache on Saturday but there were several small children riding there bikes here. We decided to leave it and come back on a school day when we were hoping the they would all be at school. We made a good choice when we saw where GZ was. SL TFTC
This hide took much longer than it should have for a seemingly easy hide! We searched everywhere in every nook and cranny until the fit half of the team went a bit lower than I was able to.
Thanks sheltz1 for the sneaky hide.

A new day and a little bit of time to find a few more caches around Portland before heading off to S.A.
As I was driving up to this one I heard a thud on the ground, looked around and it was a Koala which ran off in front of me to another tree, I then headed over to GZ, looked around and while I was I could hear all this ruckus going on.
There was a car driving along a nearby road, tooting its horn continuously, I then noticed the Greyhound running, must be a bit of training.
I went back to finding the cache and shortly after the log was signed.
**Thanks to sheltz1 for placing this cache.**

A quick and easy find on a long weekend geocaching road trip with Geoturtle37 and OzHockeyChic. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
After attending the 8 Months to Alexandra Event, we spent the afternoon with a group of friends caching our way around the town.
Apologies for the late logs, we are still catching up after an almost fatal computer meltdown.
Thanks sheltz1 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Here in Portland for the event. Great to get together with a larger group and do these varied caches and hides. Beautiful scenery and a location we very much enjoyed. Thanks to sheltz1 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found by Mary & David, with Phetlern, Alansee, Liz and Bruce, and Mrs Crackers, at 1540. After skipping two caches that were way too high for us and the equipment we had available, it was a relief to be able to sign a log here. The track was deserted in the rain today. Our thanks to sheltz1.
I was in town for the event & a days caching. The rain had eased off, so I parked & walked to this one. Fortunately it didn't take me long to find it. TFTC sheltz1.
Suscoe was down in this area for our annual dose of music at the PFFF,
we look forward to this weekend all year long.
So with an early arrival we headed to the Portland area for some caching time.
It was a beaut day and we had a great time.
No one riding today.
A quick find and sign.
Then it was cuppa time for us so we enjoyed the quiet and the horse and the two geese quietly working the paddock over next door.

Accurate coordinates, the hint and a total absence of muggles made for an easy search and a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks sheltz1 for the cache.
We're on our way to the Mega at Alice Springs and traveling all the back roads finding some great camps along the way.
Thanks for placing this cache sheltz1.

Out with my brother going for a nice afternoon drive and grabbing a couple of geocaches. A quick find in a great location.
Thanks

Today I decided to drive across to Portland, to visit my sister and her family while they are staying there, geocaching my way there and back. My sister said she'd drive me to find a few caches, and my 7-y.o. niece, Anna, came along. (Anna loves geocaching!) Even though my sister had lived in Portland for years, she had never been to the BMX track. My sister had whispered to me that she wanted me to let Anna find it. The others couldn't see the cache, but since there was only one logical place, I had a 'proper' look, and found it. Then I directed Anna to have a better look. Anna found the cache and retrieved the log, I wrote our names in it, and she replaced the cache. Then we spent five minutes explaining to Anna what BMX is, and how they race around the track! Thanks for the cache, sheltz1

I am in Warrnambool, camping here with Geo-Sons for our annual 10-days-in-a-tent. A few years ago, they started rolling their eyes and saying, "Do we HAVE to go geocaching?" As we've walked around town over the past couple of days, I've kept saying, "I bet we are walking past geocaches" Well, I think I have got the perfect balance this year! They both have to work in Melbourne this weekend, so I have put them on the train, and now have three days to myself until they return on Monday afternoon! Geocaching - here I come!!!

Catching up with some late logs.
We were out caching with SuperPop for the morning before heading off to the family Boxing Day party.
We have been visiting Portland for 13 years and we had no idea that this place even existed.
We were very impressed with the set up here and would have loved to have seen it in action but as we were here for a different reason we were happy that today we were the only one's here. The cache was located right were the GPSr indicated and our names have now been added to the log.
Thanks again sheltz1 for the cache and for showing us this location.

Parked nearby and walked through bushland to GZ. We were a little conscious of the possibility of snakes in the longish grass. Anyway having arrived near GZ a short search located the cache and we SL. All very quiet. TFTC

My second attempt at this one after being turned away by a swarm of two wheeled muggles a couple of days ago, no such trouble today and the cache was found in the second place I looked but not the first time I looked there.
Sneaky hide.
