Thank you! Very difficult, I was right beside it and even touched and felt the spot a few times before we went back and found it! Very clever - dont look at the ladys photo unless you want it to be spoilt!
A wonderful day to be in La Perouse. Some people were swimming in front of GZ. I think you would have to be a nut this time of year to take a dip.Quick find thanks to various clues by previous finders.TFTC!
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU.
I could look longer and I kinda knowWhat Im after but there are people eating close by and I look dodgy

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visite on foot a part of Sydney, we walk the streets guided by the caches. Sydney IS very Big.Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Not easy. The camouflage is very well integrated. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
We opened the gate to look under the restaurant but it was outside of the gate! Great find
Thanks to the low tide it was very easy to access the cache location by just walking around The Boat Shed. While the rest of the geo family was waiting for the sun to set I went out for a very short walk. The coordinates are spot on and the cache container was found quickly. Only problem I didn't bring a pen (I should have read that this is a BYOP cache) so I headed back to the car for a pen and went back to the cache to sign the log this time.
Container and log are in good shape.

Trying to catch up with some late logs, prior to the Mega, so some travel bugs can get dropped off. Sorry for the generic log.
Found this hide while staying around the area. We love coming here for a great seafood feed and finally today we made this well camoed hide.
Thanks marj01 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

The evening crowd was in full swing but we were somehow invisible to them as we poked about close by. PPE finally hit the right spot and we grabbed another digit. Thanks marj01.
Seemed to be pointing to an area which was the site of some digging with another temp fence. But reading logs may have been located at another level. Oh well have to come back.
One of the best we have seen, so cool! We looked for ages, gave up, then came back with more knowledge based on some of the other caches by the same user nearby. Thanks for the awesome hide.
Out caching with Uncle M. Sadly no pen with us so here is a photo of the log book.

Not sure whether I'm meant to go down on the sand or stay up on the concrete. We looked to suspicious unscrewing bolts with muggles looking at us.
Looked and looked at the GZ nothing to be found. Perhaps some muggles found an extra gift on new year's eve
too many muggles to even warrant a look methinks... will do some others in the area and come back.
Geowife and I came out for a walk up along the beach today, she doesn't usually get involved but she found this one before I did TFTC
Came by as we were in the area but after 20 minutes we couldn't find anything. Decided to leave it for another day.
Finding the cache was quick and easy. (Don't you hate it when others say that, but it was!)
Finding somewhere to park the geomobile though was extremely difficult and took a couple of circuits until I spotted someone leaving. What is everyone doing here? There didn't seem to be as many people around as cars in the area.
It was then a much longer walk to GZ where it was a bit tricky keeping my distance from people on the sand.
I walked round to where I thought I'd begin my search and immediately spotted the cache, even before the GPS had come to life. The only muggles who could possibly see me were busy smothering themselves with sunscreen so were well and truly occupied and didn't notice me. My phone rang so I think they thought I'd stopped there to take the call. A good decoy!

I’m glad I persisted! I laid fingers on it a few times before realising it was the cache. Lots of muggles close by but they were none the wiser. TFTC!
Being in the area for work this was very close so decided it was daily exercise time. Surprised to see so many people about but we kept our distance. We tried one angle but realised we need another so repositioned so after checking a few items came up with the well concealed hide. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
My family and I travelled down from Brisbane to Vincentia to spend the Christmas period with relatives. With bush fires burning in the surrounding areas, we decided to head off to Canberra on 28th December for New Year in an (ultimately futile) attempt to escape the smoke.
I was due to pick up some geocaching friends from Sydney today for a planned hike in Kosciusko National Park (ultimately cancelled due to closures by bush fires ), but the smoke was so bad in Canberra yesterday that I headed off a day early in search of some fresher air. After spending the night camped in my car I ventured out early this morning to find a few caches to while away the time until their arrival.
Staff were setting up tables overhead so I kept on moving away from GZ everytime they came close, so this (as well as a tricky hide) delayed the finding of the cache. After checking numerous places I finally tuned my focus to the correct location where the cache was found safe and well. TFTC

Nice little hide with Keno7 directing from up behind the fence! Getting ready for the Bloody Long Walk tomorrow. TFTC
Found with pinkih while she did all the hard work and I shouted hints from above tftc
TFTC after the ssspring sssskills event. OCW Sensible Shoes, Little Shoes, Coast blue and Purple cache water.
OCW Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior, Purple cache eater, coastblue and GZed. Found after a bit of looking. TFTC
OCW The Shoes family and PurpleCacheEater after the nearby Geocaching NSW Skills Event. The kids did the first sweep but it was found on the second sweep by Sensible Shoes. A muggle asked us what we saw and I explained about geocaching. He conveniently left before we had to replace the cache. TFTC!

Lucky the tide was low enough today. After a quick search managed to find it! Yay! Out with coastblue & Sensible Shoes! Container in good condition. Log book dry. TFTCSL Thanks for placing marj01

Back in NZ from our excursion to Sydney. Time now to log the caches located with bkj97. Thanks to all the COs for giving us an excuse to do lots of walking and the opportunity to discover some interesting places and history. T4tcsl
Found with little blue hen. Spotted what was the likely container hide from the path but had to wait for the tide to recede before nabbing. Retrieved, signed and returned unobserved. Favourite added and the coffee was ok too.
Daughter and I took a stroll around the beach area today and grabbed a few caches. TFTC
On a gorgeous winters day, I paid a visit to this beautiful location. First stop was coffee at the Boat Shed but first the cache. I was able to access GZ without any problems and luckily the muggles above were far and few between, it was still early. In spite of this, these exposed locations give me the heebie jeebies and I walked away twice, not sure I'd have the guts to search properly, but the muggles above cant see you if you stay in the right position. I soon had the cache after touching it and discarding it on one of my walk aways. This time it came away in my hand and I was able to quickly sign the log and collect the clue. a very brazen hide.
What an adventure this series was. Found this arvo and into the sunset to nightfall with @geoket and @cache_me_if_you_cam .
Found this one as the sun was setting. Another great Camo.

Nice hide. We came late but we were able to come up with it. I got it out with Babagada. TFTC
Having finished work nearby at a reasonable hour, I decided to try my luck here to continue my streak, despite the previous DNF and concern about access.
Despite the profusion of wedding photography being conducted along the beach, I managed to find the GZ relatively deserted.
I initially had the same concern about access, but after a quick scout, I spied something slightly out of place and had the CIH.
Favourite point from me for the location and the construction.

No find for us today but we could only acceess the outside of the railings. I see from previous posters that you could access both sides. Lovely spot though.
Difficult find, got there in the end. My first trip out this way, really enjoyed it.

Found at 2:31 PM GAFF3.
We had to wait out a sudden shower and then descended upon the area noting that there was a room full of diners right above us. We concentrated on one particular item that caught our attention, only to find that it was a construction spacer and so abandoned that idea. We then pushed and pulled everything that we could until c-pprass suddenly discovers the cache - once again just a great hide and deserves an FP
Thanks marj01
