We are on our way to Maldon for a two nights to allow us to travel on the Victorian Goldfields Railway - and the steam train, J549, is back in operation. Apologies for some generic log as most of the finds for this series were straightforward. Thanks to Saint.Anthony for the cache.
Quick find at GZ but really y he ad to bust the muscles out to get the lid off!! TFTC!
Chasing caches on a lovely sunny Saturday, Thanks for the cache Saint Anthony. SL TN LN
The SW hint threw me, no idea what it was referencing. Plus my GPS was about 7m out, so ended up using a little geosense. Nice hide.TFTC TNLN
Out in the area hitting up a few more in the CDLGM series and stopped for this one on the way past. No issues making the grab and my name was soon in the log.
Thanks again for another one Saint.Anthony....

Extended my camping weekend into the week and now staying in the Creswick area. Grabbed a few Ausmer date based caches and continuing on some unfinished trails from a previous trip.
A quick find in a likely geocache location. Moving on to put some smileys on some more of this trail.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.

Our first week away after lockdown number 2. Combining caching with gold detecting and enjoying the bush. Staying in creswick for 2 days helping the regional towns out as we travel along. TFTC

Found this cache where it should be. No one wants to be the only cacher that can't find one! Tftc
A quick stop off here, the cache was found in the first place I looked.
Today I was making my way from Ararat to Ballarat collect the odd cache here and there.

started my day off by attending the Ballarat Breakfast event and continued Northish to find some more. Spotted a bunch of caches to be found in this area so I went to work to find as many as I could. This is the first cache I have found in the Ballarat area that was in a coomon hide. TFTC.
Heading to St. Arnaud for the mega event. Day 69 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 12 for the day and 1938 for the trip. TFTC
Today we decided to do some caching in the Creswick area. We did some of the mine caches a couple of years ago and we were keen to come back and add some more smilies to the map. Along the way we also did a couple cemetery caches just for variety. All the caches were reasonably quick finds with good coordinates. A great way to spend such a lovely day. TFTC
Out and about getting a few smilies and this was one of them.

On a rare day where both the jiwilly's have the day off and no children, we attempted a few more on the search for this series. Got this one on a quick drive by, taking in the sights of the area. TFTC, TNLNSL, CIGC
Visiting get daughter from Qld. This is the first days since I arrived that there hasn’t been any rain. It’s nice to get out and find a few caches.
After finishing the nearby rail trail we turned of and headed here. A nice quick find. Thanks for placing Saint Anthony. Caching today with geomum Beckster22.
Newstead Day 3
Todays trip was around the mining area as far south as Creswick. We came accross some amazing caches & locations, a really enjoyable day.
The weather started quite bad, rain jackets & beanies to keep warm. The unsealed roads were good to drive on as we kriss cossed the country side. Learnin a little about the area as we went.

Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
Thanks St.Anthony

Crikey !! [:o]
Who knew that statistics were so important in everyday aspects of life !!
Even whether a road sign should,
or should not be placed,
is calculated using data analysed and quantified,
then finally passed through a mathematical sieve,
to decide !!
I'm glad me decisions on what to do each day are not governed by such tedium,
and are usually random
This cache was found in the most likely place for it to be,
based upon thousands of similar finds.
This particular location fell well within the 80th percentile

Geocaching day with our awesome geocaching friends, 2 adults and 9 children, with our family on a quest to reach 200. We got started early in the hope that we could beat the intense heat, but there wasn't much chance of that. Finished the Broomfield rail trail and Dive Wombat decided to pull a fast one and stop for one more. The Meadows Geohog spotted it again. as it was hidden in the usual spot for this type of cache. Thanks for the cache.
A group effort today working our way along the creswick to bloomfeild rail reserve, with AlbertMedows and his family and one of the WildFam and one bewildered muggle, all up about 11 of us all scrabbling around looking for caches on a very hot day. we walked half the track and noticed how good the track is and thought let’s drive it, Park the kids under a tree and headed back for the cars.
This was an extra to our trip down the rail reserve and our final cache for the day. Can’t believe I was beaten to the cache by Albert Medows bloody phone took me to the wrong corner of the bridge but his etrex was spot on.
Thanks for the cache

My wife wanted some time to check out the MIll Market antique centre so I headed back out this way to go for a walk along the trail. A very pleasant way to spent a couple of hours, pleased to say the weather came to the party as well. Had a good hit rate with only a couple of DNFs. A quick P'N"G here on the way back to Daylesford. Thanks for the hides. Cheers and TFTC
Away for a long weekend of caching with Freddo and Four Fun.
Over 300 caches in 4 days means that the logs will be mainly generic.
The main target of our mission was to finish off the Mt Disappointment series. We achieved our target along with other caches as we headed east and then west.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Away for an extended long weekend of caching with Freddo and Team Waldron.
The main target was the Dad's Driving Series, and it was definately a fun exercise collecting the series but with that completed we focused on some other caches and making our way back to SA, very slowly [^]
This was one of the fun stops along the way
Cheers & TFTH Saint.Anthony

Definitely didn't know that there was that much criteria for one of these signs. Thanks for the lesson. Quick find for us here. Thanks for the cache.
On approach, I was confident this one was mine to grab & I was right. Find #968 for me.

Still out caching in the pitch dark and freezing cold with the legendary Bushfire and Mogni. We were all quite cold and quite a bit damp as it had rained on and off during the day But were we deterred, not one bit. Determination won the day I was hardly out of the vehicle before this one was found TFTC Saint Anthony
