Logs
Used my phone camera to search different areas and after a long search, finally found it. TFTC
Though we had a feeling where it was hidden, we still couldn't find it only after the 3rd attempt. Nice hide! Beautiful area.TFTC
Attending the CITO nearby today, cache found after a small search, cache do with a new container here. After visiting an event in the city today I headed out with Laighside Legends to attend a CITO and find a few caches around Penrith for a few hours. Thanks for the cache
Last of three finds today. Could spot the hide due to a different colour - compared to the surroundings. TFTC Ev4d for bringing us somewhere new yet familiar.
The second time around, we finally found it!! Woo hoo! Definitely need to scramble around for it
You need to be at the right level to spot this one. Log is dry but breaking up. Tftc, keeping my streak alive.
Attempting this one in daylight was easy, as previously mentioned. The log may need replacing.
We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather here in Victoria.
Out enjoying a BBQ in a park nearby and grabbed this on the way back to RV. This hide took longer than it should have, we searched from the top and also from underneath. When we were about to give up, the hide was discovered.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

A quick find during a long drive.
Not sure if I agree that the suburb may be more beautiful than a natural swamp. But that's just me.

We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches that have appeared around Luddenham & Wallacia since our last visit to the area, and will have a go at the new GFA Adventure Lab. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains to visit some previously unexplored caching locations, revisiting areas around Penrith & suburbs that have new or replaced caches, and maybe finish with a visit to the Londonderry area. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base. This was the 15th of 15 finds for the day (day 2), and 28th find of the holiday.
Today we headed up to Lapstone to make some finds for International Geocaching Day and the world wide caching record attempt for the most cachers caching on the same day (August 20). After trekking around the Lapstone gorge for a few hours we headed up to Glenbrook for some lunch, then grabbed some more caches in the lower Blue Mountains before heading back down to Emu Plains.
After returning to Emu Plains we were a bit too early for dinner, so we headed over to Penrith for a couple more caches, and this one was our next stop. Made a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Log was very wet but we still managed to sign it thanks to our trusty PowerTank pen. TFTC Ev4d, and Happy International Geocaching Day to everyone

Parked the car and then walked the short distance to Gz. The cache was soon found after a short search. The log was signed and then the cache replaced as found. Thank you Ev4d for placing this cache.
A nice afternoon of caching, HH joined me today (my less enthusiastic geo partner) really enjoyed this series, we struggled a bit to find this one but in the end we made it - TFTC Ev4d I really enjoyed it!
Time for another day chasing mint tins with marj01. With a predawn start we headed from the eastern suburbs out west to Penrith. We started caching at Wallacia and made our way north through the suburbs to Jordan Springs. We had lots of finds which included trads, multis and mysteries; also some dnfs that were too well hidden for us to find or weren't there. I lost count on the number of mint tins found but there certainly wasn't an oversupply. Thanks to all the CO's for placing their caches and TFTC Ev4d.
Out with Trodectus to do a few caches today. #8 for today. Parked near GZ and walked to GZ, after a short search had CIH. Log signed and returned. TFTC
8th and last find while out with Coybear2000. It was starting to get dark now but we decided to still go for this one. We parked nearby and walked to GZ. After a short search we spotted the hide. Log signed and all replaced, back to the car and we headed home. TFTC.
OCW the Bebes. Nice little area by the water on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Tftc.

Enjoyed a lovely wander along the waterside

I thought this was going to be not so "park and grab" after all... however with a change if perspective and keeping school years fire training in mind I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Quickish find, thanks for the placement, love the location. New home owners are blessed with this waterhole
Teamed up with Goingplaces2 today and we followed the gps without a very firm plan of where we were going to go caching other than head toward Penrith and this was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to Ev4d for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
With my son in Nepean Private Hospital for a op on one of the arteries in his neck to fix an problem and at 12 o'clock he was taken to surgery and we were told that only two people were allowed to remain it was decided that I take off and cache for a few hours before returning.
On my return all good with the operation so back to logging these six caches that I managed to find while filling in time.
Arrived here and after all the rain in the last few days everything was wet and the water level was higher than normal.
Well I looked here, there and everywhere but could not see anything that looked like a cache.
So looked at previous log to get a clue and then I saw one that said you don't have to get your feet wet so back to the drawing board and looked from a different angle and there it was but with the high water level you have too be very careful.
Thanks again Ev4d for placing this guy.

18/3/17. 3:38 PM. Cache #4855.
2nd of 5 this afternoon - Penrith, Cranebrook, Castlereagh.
After a DNF in Kingsgrove ("Lakeside"), I decided to head out west again today to get a few; 4 of my 5 finds were from Ev4d's PnG series.
A quick find at #13 Andrews Road, and then I came here. Luckily the rain had stopped for a while. I looked around various spots but couldn't spot it. Caved in and contacted a PAF. Hmm, thought I checked there?
Tried again and saw that it was well-hidden. Signed, replaced and then off to #1 Dead End. TFTC.

No problems finding this cache as the co-ords are very good. The cache container by the waterside really does have very good water views. It was successfully retrieved, our signature was added to the log and it was replaced where it had been found. Thanks to Ev4d for another cache in this park and grab series.
Tftc! A lovely cache and an equally lively sit. I like this area, but not the lego block houses.
Streak Day #1212 - After dinner dave8153 and i decided to attempt this one again after some intel and this time we found it, This was not our original GZ but i guess if we had of looked over here properly we may have found it the first time. TFTC
Found tonight with Snoopy1976 was an easy find tonight after being here once before and searched for quite some time with out a find. TFTC

Cache Condition: Great!
Yeah, this one definitely needs a fair bit of light and the perfect angle.
I don't really know how to give a better clue than that.
Light was fading fast and didn't bring the headlamp so it was the iPhone light that had to help us.
Eventually we found it and replaced as found.
A nice little spot, thanks for bringing us here.

Thanks to previous logs, I too found the right angle to spot this cache. Nice place for a cache. TFTC Ev4d.
Roped the Aussie local friend into the sport. His first find. Simple enough find!
