Attended on Get Outdoors Day 2016.
It was good to see so many people here, bright and early.
Thank you for the bacon and egg sandwich.
Thanks also for hosting this Event +Wife.

We ventured out for the day with the direction of Bendigo as the target. We arrived at this event to see a good turnout and when I was handed a magnificent egg and bacon roll I understood why. It was great to get an early start and my breakfast was the energy I needed for a day on a cache run.
Our sincere thanks to +wife for hosting the event and with that breakfast cooking you can be my +wife anytime.
Regards

We had friends staying with us that were leaving early to head to the airport so despite the weather Mrs Crackers decided that it would be good to attend this event. There were many people here, a few we knew but a lot more new cachers that we hadn't yet met.
The eggs and bacon looked good but breakfast had been had at home so we watched the others enjoy them.
Thanks for organising this event +Wife

I was awake early so I decided to attend. Not too far from home. Great to see both new and old friends. The rain was on and off but there was enough shelter to keep dry. The breakfast was appreciated, and I even dashed across and found the nearby cache. Thanks for breakfast and the event +Wife

A not so nice morning made all the more better by attending this event and catching up with old friends and meeting some new. A yummy bacon and egg breakfast to start my day. Thanks to the CO for putting this one on.

Thank you all for making the effort to get outdoors and join us for breakfast. Smile
Nice to meet some new friends from near and far and to catch up with many others too. [^]
Thanks for the trackable madre6095, we will take it to We Were Champions Thoroughbred Rescue Centre on Monday. We will also take it for drives into the country side and take pictures of it with horses.
I hope everyone enjoyed the bacon and egg rolls and thanks once again for helping to make this another successful event. Cool

Great turn up for such a horrible day. Rain rain and more rain!

***{ftf} through lottery! Thanks guys!***

Out on a cold and rainy day! Thanks for hosting!

11-Jun-16
Egg and bacon roll plus coffee...just what was needed for a typical Melbourne Winter morning. None of the predicted hail thankfully. Thank you for the effort you put into granting us a souvenir. Great to put a face to familiar names and see some old acquaintances. TFTC

11-Jun-16
Its cold and wet and here we are standing huddled trying to stay dry just to get a souvenir! Nice to meet a lot off new people

With Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.

Thanks to +wife for organising this one.

Thanks +Wife for hosting this event.
I was only scanning the area last night when I spied this event. What a great way to start a long weekend and a souvenir to boot.
There was a large crowd in attendance, everyone enjoying the delicious looking Bacon and Egg Rolls. The rain didn't dampen anyones spirits as there were smiles all around.

Chatted to some cachers I hadn't met before and some old ones as well, which happens at all events.
A lovely Saturday morning was had, thank you

Thanks for the early morning breakfast, well for me anyway. I will send you some pictures later even though I missed out on FTF. Good gathering considering the weather.

Despite turning up late because of my extraordinarily last minute decision to come, after sports were cancelled- and then getting lost (really did go up the m3 and then back down the same stretch again, 2 mins later) I made it!! With Mia ("will we *ever* get there mummy?") who very much enjoyed her breakfast roll, thanks Christine. It was fab to meet people - people I have talked to so often and now I am claiming them ALL as IRL friends. Loved the couple of hugs I got, too. Love this game and the people who play it. Best. Hobby. Ever.

I didn't log a "will attend" because I didn't expect to be awake this early today, but I was and didn't feel like going back to sleep so I got up, got dressed and left the house. Pretty feral really. Well it was raining. Surely no one would notice if I was a bit rough around the edges. Nope it all went down well. I fancied a B&E sandwich so that was extra welcome. Found the trad in the park too. Then home to actually get up. TftEventc

I'm glad I was cooking the bacon, it was not quite as cold over at the BBQ.
A last minute decision to bring the pop up gazebo made it a bit easier.
Thanks For The bacon & egg rolls, coffee, smiley faces and the Get Outdoors Day souvenir.
Good to see such a large turnout on a typically cold, wet, Melbourne winter's day.
Great to catch up with old friends and new.
With geocachers coming from (very)near and as far away as NZ (G--2) and Canada (madre6095), we were very pleased with the event.
Thank you madre6095 for the trackables.

Getting out of bed early on a Saturday morning and driving 45 minutes from the Yarra Valley to this event, standing around in the cold and rain, might have been a silly idea. However the warmth of the greeting and the pleasure of catching up with like minded "fools" made it all worth while. Not to mention the b and e rolls and a cup of tea provided by the hostess with the mostest +wife. See you all again soon.

*11/06/2016, Found @ 8:16 AM, Find # 5394.*

An early start to this National Get Outdoors Day and while on my way to a couple of events, I found some other caches along the way.
I arrived to find the event in full swing with a lot of cachers already here huddled under the shelter escaping from the rain.
Its always good to catch up and discuss all things caching and the egg and bacon roll went down well as well.

**Thanks to +Wife for holding this event cache .**

11-Jun-16
Thanks to +wife for organising the event. Was great to catch up with other like minded people and meet new people as well put faces to people we talk to on Facebook. And the breaky was yum too.
Even though it was raining it was a great turnout.

Not quite what groundspeak had in mind for the badge. A typical cold wet and windy Melbourne winters morning, I was soon warmed by the egg and bacon roll and the friendly crowd of like minded people. Was nice to catch up with friends old and new and swapping tales of caching adventures. Thanks to +wife for hosting the event.

**Find # 4581**
**Attended at 8:19am on Saturday, 11 June 2016**
An early rise (for me Big Grin) was greeted by gloom and rain, but nevertheless, I went to Noble Park and huddled out of the rain with all my mates. A bit of adversity adds to the enjoyment we must tell ourselves.
Pleasant conversation and coffee was a great way to start the day.
After a while I left a bit early to go to event #2 for me at Bendigo, where I met a few others from here with a similar plan.
**Thanks +Wife**

Will be delighted to meet you all for breakfast. This Canadian cacher is bringing foreign travel bugs if anyone would like to trade. See you soon!

01-Jun-16
I'll need the nourishment to get me to the next event!

01-Jun-16
Just idly moving the map back from the next micro-adventure up near Mt. Donna Buang and I happen to come across this event!
Needless to say I will try my utmost to make it given the host, the fact there is a souvenir available and attendance contributes to meeting a challenge cache down near Ballarat.
Plus of course I really should be making it out to suburbs I normally have no reason to visit!
