Had inadvertently parked right next to this one when looking for its predecessor! A very quick find with a view, cheers.
Hoping to get enough caches today for the 100,10,7 cache after doing 73 of the Apple caches on Sunday last week. Thanks for the cache. Found the cache exposed from it's hiding spot. Signed and re-hid as should have been. Great view from up here.
I have been a bit tardy getting this replacement cache organised. I now have a new one ready to go - and it will be in place tomorrow.
Thanks for the full log heads-up otbot2468. This little nano was the second ever cache hidden by me nearly 7 years ago, 2 months after I started caching. I will replace it shortly with a larger container.
Nice spot close to our amazing Airbnb. Almost failed to open this little thing.
Hardest part was rolling it back up! What a view on a stunning day as well. Tftc
Oh no another Nano, out for a drive with Natril, taken photo as both of us have arthritic hands, tftc RogerW1nz
Had been visiting Grandma in Wellington and had time for a quick stop afterwards to find a cache. Was a bit worried that we were going to have trouble with parking but managed to fluke a park very close by. The cache was quickly found by youngest son. A great view from up here, we saw the Interislander and a police boat in the water. TFTC
Last cache for the day. And cache number 1432ish overall. And the last cache of the 49 finds on my Wellington trip – it has been a wonderful 4 days in my favourite city. This was pretty much across the road so of course I had to go and find it. It took me maybe longer than it should have, but find it I did, and I managed to get the tiny log back in as well. Then back to the CO’s house for a while before heading off to the airport and up into the sky. Thank you once again RogerW1nz!
It has taken 7 weeks for the street to be re-kerbed, but finally it’s finished.
The cache is ready to go again.

The replacement of kerbing along the street near GZ means that it’s not very accessible just now. I will reinstate it when the works have finished.
This one ended up being a lot trickier than it should have been. Firstly, the road is half closed in that you can only come in from the north. The reason being some major works on the footpaths, and the digger was parked exactly next to where the cache was (where else would it be). Fortunately, being a public holiday, there was no activity so after finding a park some way away and walking back I jumped the barrier and quickly found the cache. However in my haste I had forgotten a pen, so walked back to the car to sign, Then when I returned the was a gathering of neighbours going on next to the road works, so had to do some pretend photography while waiting for them to disperse. TFTC.
Was here with KiwiTab we signed the log book with the 10th instead of the 11th. Sorry about that.
I'd parked down on Sutherland Road and came up the walkway via what must be #1 in this series. Walking along View Road meant being able to take in the view and not worrying about where to park. A natural place to hide a cache presented itself as I arrived but my first look yielded nothing. But I'd forgotten I was looking for a nano so in for a another look and there it was. Now, where do I go to sign it? Went along a bit to the fence where I could see the airport and attended to the log. Not normally a fan of the nano but I can see why one was used here. Nice walk around an area I would not likely have visited otherwise. TFTC.
A nice quick find in the rain. Included a very friendly dog walking by! Tftc
Was a quick find in the rain with limited muggles. Except for the 4 legged cutey who wanted to be my friend
Quick easy find with @peadub on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Quick find on a stunning Wellington evening - absolutely still and a beautiful sunset. Filled in another dot day despite a very busy day. TFTC.
One of five located on a very pleasant Sunday afternoon outing to this part of town and a walk with the geohound along part of the Southern Walkway. Needed to be stealthy for this one considering there were likely to be neighbours at home at this time of day. Fortunately Mrs tbird spotted it reasonably quickly. #3221. TFTC.
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #690, still there.
After doing a Lyall Bay Lookout cache yesterday, was keen to come back and do another in the series. My mobile wasn't so good at honing into gz so did a wide initial sweep gaining the attentions of a neighbour who came out of her house! Explained what I was doing, all good. At that point just used common sense to find the gc and soon had it in my hand. TFTC
Lunch at The Botanist, followed by a walk around the area with nice views of Houghton and Lyall Bay and attempting a bunch of caches.
This was a relatively quick find, few places it could be! TFTC

After work today I still needed to find my daily cache in order to keep up my current daily geo streak. A nice quick find here. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. Cool view of the bay! Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Found with 12YO. After grabbing #1 we climbed up the walkway to get this one. Great views from up here - amazing! Nice and calm this afternoon too. 12YO spotted the cache before me. We've found a few nano caches like this and I'm glad we found this quickly as they can be very tricky to locate. TFTC
Quick find this morning after a bit of huffing and puffing up the hill.
Trying to fill in all my dot days so grabbing a couple of caches while up here for another bridge tournament and time to catch up with my friends John and Kate who now live near here.
TFTC
Great views on the walk around here

Quick easy find with Geobecky8 - thanks for the hint. Only 2 spots left in the log book before it will need replacing. TFTC
No luck. GPS didn't seem to be right but looked all around base of lamp post with no luck.
Quick find where all good at GZ. Thanks for another smilie.
Another day, another airport run.

Gidday Roger
I'm spending a wet Sunday afternoon catching up with a few caches that I found during the week that I haven't recorded online yet. I came out here for a look on Wednesday after work, following the exact same routine as yesterday. I drove up to GZ rather than tackling the steps. This one took me quite a while to find. I had the right idea, just wasn't thorough enough on my first and second passes. Then I went off to look for alternative spots, before coming back for a third (more careful) look at my original spot. Ah ha! Gotya!
I enjoyed the view from up here. I haven't been up this way for ages and had forgotten how nice it is to look out over the bay and the airport. I stayed an extra few minutes to watch a plane take off. In the end, the cache was safely returned to its hiding spot and I was on my way off to a Harriers speedwork session out in Lower Hutt.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

A find after leaving the cache owners house, where we had been discussing geocaching for perhaps too much of the night. This one caught me a little by surprise as it didn't fit with the other caches I found this afternoon. Thank you RogerW1nz.
My legs needed a stretch after a tough caching hill climb yesterday, and this cache has been on my 'to do' list for far too long... (I live close by, and am always driving past on my way to somewhere). So quickly dashed out tonight to put another yellow smiley face on my geocache map. Very quick find, went back to the car to keep the log dry when I signed it, and then replaced.

Not too difficult to find in the dark, the clue was a great help.
The log is full, but just managed to squeeze our initials on the end
Introduced a friend to geocaching, looks like she'll be making an account soon!
We did a nice loop around this area.
Thanks for the cache

Nice spot - never been along here before! Great view of all the activity down in the bay. Nice easy find - it was hidden just as I expected. Was kept entertained while I signed the log by a bus and a car trying to get past each other - involved a fair bit of reversing by the car. TFTC.
I made hard work of this one doing the geodance towing and frowing and checking and was about to give up when I spotted and as I grabbed it, a voice came from above “have you found it”. Great to meet the CO and have a chat. It is a great view from her. TFTH
Thanks Rogerw1nz, I wasn't very stealthlike! Have been here before & never had a pen!? Looking forward to locating your other caches
