I tried to find this cache today, but my luck was not good, or maybe it was my eyesight, or maybe it was not there. Will have to return at a later time effect a find.
I did find a tiny magnet by his feet, but nothing attached. Needs to be checked by the CO
This was my 3 DNF out of 3 DNFs and a total of 2 Finds on this outing.

Found some tape up high but no cache... spotted a nice plump red back spider too...
Found with Team RatBags. Geokids are at dancing, the d-i-l is shopping so a good chance to spend time with the geoson. A quick drive down SW Hwy and pick up some caches. TFTC
Nice quick find on a funky piece of art.
TFTC Johnson and Johnson this is find # 2733 for us.

Passing through Byford today and just had to try and remove the blue dnf and replace with a smiley. Tried to look normal but it was hard given the very public location of this fabulous statue. Will be back to do the multi. TFTC, J&J.
**Day 7** into my House Sit in Bedfordale*...
*Out and about letting my GPS be my guide*...
A lovely day to be out and about. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ. A short search, stamped log and replaced as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Johnson and Johnson. Appreciate your efforts. A favourite point for highlighting this great sculpture and giving me a reason too stop.
Greetings from Victoria.

Took our drinks and the geopooch as 'cover' and gave most of this amazing sculpture a fairly good once over. Wasn't going low among the cobwebs. Still appreciate being brought to this location. Tftc
Out on the SWH today doing some reconnaissance and just had to have a go at the odd cache here and there. This one's been on the to-do list for a while, was pleased to have some time to pull over and have a squiz.
Too many cobwebs for my liking and felt somewhat exposed. Just as I gave the game away I was sprung by a passing muggle who inquired what I was up to. Turns out she had heard of geocaching and actually found a couple but alas she didn't know where this one was.
Johnson and Johnson I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 10 finds today so all is not lost.

Pommieparkin2 searching for this one was a sight to see, but find it we did. TFTC by the way the bison has become very dry & hard to open could do with some TLC....or WD40
Geosister made the find with muggle wife before their game of indoor soccer. TFTC.
Must have been missing last time as we checked. Got now though. Now to sign the log. And yes a replaced log sheet, first to fill it in.
I replaced the cache container today due to a few people saying that the previous container couldn't be opened. I could not find the old cache container so there might be two there now. You will be able to open and log your visit when you find the new container.
Been here many a time doing pick up from scout camp and been meaning to find this but no time finally had time today could not open tube to sign log
I had some spare time today and I decided to try and tackle some of the South West Highway caches. All the caches were found fairly easily with the odd one taking a little longer than others. Thanks to all the cache owners who have placed a cache here. I loved the huge variety of caches - some very small, others very big. Many of them were very unique
In total, I found 14 caches today. All of the caches were found in a good condition, I signed the log books and replaced them as I found them. Thanks for the hide.

Another fun find with Just-Lookin while on a 3 week geocaching trip around the Perth area.
We really enjoyed the drive around finding some caches.

Eliktrisiti and I decided that a little bit of rain wasn't going to deter us from tackling some of the bush caches in the Armadale hills area before the weather got too warm. Others thought we were crazy, but we donned our wet weather gear and ended up having a really great day of it. Admittedly, we got rained on more than a couple of times, but we were picking up smileys and feeling very smug about it too. This was one of the ones we nabbed as the skies were opening up on us, but the rains probably ensured that passing motorists focused on their driving rather than what two loons like us were up to. Eli found the cache in a spot that I had already looked, doh! Thanks for the smiley Johnson and Johnson
Out caching with Mistraluna when the rain started. Found it eventually on a place we both looked. Thank you inspector.
I planned to drive from Thomas Rd, down SWH to Pinjarra and pick up all the new ones along that route.
Due to recent surgery I am unable to drive for 6 weeks so hubby was good enough to chauffeur me around.
Turns out that we only managed to get just out side of Byford at the end of the day due to all the new ones that had been placed since I was last in this area.
We found a total of 10 for the day with no DNFs.
Had an interesting read of the plaque then made a quick find.
Love the work that goes into these statues.

Gotta be sneaky with this one. Am so sore from hurting my back that I found this one difficult to find. Log is wet and starting to fall apart. Was good to see what this sculpture was all about. Tfth
I just love the sculptures in Byford and wish our neighbouring council would follow suit with something this quirky and original. We tried to dry out the log as best we could before replacing.
Stopped here with megawat60 on the way to Jarrahdale. Love the public art in this town, and thank you for bringing us to one. Log a bit damp, but powertankpen coped! TFTC!
A quick find today by SWMBO, who has no qualms about sticking her hand in small places that may be inhabited by her 8 legged friends. The log is damp, but I could just about make out my name when I finished signing . The highway was very busy but we looked for and replaced the cache during the breaks. Thanks to Johnson and Johnson for the cache.
Driving down SWH to Jarrahdale picking up some caches along the way. I had heard about this fella from a Byford friend.
Thanks Johnson and Johnson for the cache.
Thanks Johnson and Johnson for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1345. Sorry not to have more time in Byford. Very impressed by all the sculptures around the town, and by Lemas coffee and the bakery. Enjoyed this rotund official standing near the footpath. Our thanks to Johnson and Johnson.
NICE TRAFFIC INSPECTOR!!!! BUT WHILE FINDING IT WITH THE UNDEAD GOLEM, WE GOT DRENCHED
Out for an afternoon of bushwalking and geocaching.
Introduced our nephew to it who was thrilled to find it first.
He's now hooked.

Over from South Australia for the WAGB event. Found with Everlasting after she kindly picked me up from the airport. We cached down the SWH trail and around Pinjarra until we could check into Fairbridge Village. Had a brilliant weekend, lovely weather and great company. Thankyou for placing this cache. TNLNSL

On the way to The WA Goes Event at Pinjarra with spidermonkey9, The weather was very lovely day. Enjoyed search, found and sign the log.

Had the day out with B12 the partner in crime when it comes to finding Geocaches.
Again we found our selves finding multiple caches and having a heap of fun.
Steve is on a mission to get to the magical 6000 finds at the WA Goes Big event over the WA long weekend and as such another day of caching was ahead of us.
thanks for keeping me out doors and away from the house work.... that will have to wait.

Headed out with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns to pick up a few caches. Happy to make a nice quick find here TFTC Johnson and Johnson
2TF pipped at the post by the Websta!!! LOL after being down in Fairbridge prepping our cache for the WAGB event we got home tired and ready for a kip. Mr ValoForce did the school run whilst I gratefully flopped on the bed to shut my eyes for 10mins when the phone goes off. Cache not 2ks away?? Dang it I can't let this go. Jumped in the car and raced down the highway.
Thankfully I knew exactly where this new statue was, was waiting for someone to put a cache on it and had to giggle when I passed someone this week on my way home standing in front of it with a phone. He had Geocacher written all over him LOL.
I got to know the statue fellow really well even if he didn't say much whilst I surveyed his body parts haha. Nice quick find and sign. Thanks for a another great cache Johnson & Johnson great start to the weekend!

TFTC! Had a days caching planned with Cravo10 as we haven't really gone out for a full day since our action packed whirlwind 3500 kilometre trip to Kalgoorlie, Leonora, Esperance, kulin and surrounds trip.
Had a sleep in this morning before we headed out on our mission to tackle a few caches on the Lep Track to Northam, with a few others along the way thrown in for good measure.
Planning the route last night i thought of the idea of a Land, Air & Seas day, with the kep track caches forming the land leg, a kayak on the Avon forming the sea leg (river) and the air leg being some tree climbing in wundowie. This was not mentioned to John in the plans as usual as he generally gets apprehensive about these "ideas", so when he turned up I just casually mentioned "I've gotta get a couple of things from the garage", that's when the face changed and I explained about the days "goals"
Anyway we had a later than usual start and tackled a bunch of the caches between mundaring and wundowie along the kep track before deviating to lake leschenaultia. The two field puzzles here chidlows well and assembly required weren't really on the days plans, as I generally have pretty poor form when it comes to field puzzles and I bring along muggle mate come geocacher Numbers Man to solve them which generally costs me a lunch.
Lake leschenaultia turned into the highlight of the day. WP2 of assembly required is probably one of the most fun geocaches I have ever come across. Such a simple task, but quite hard aswell as I struggle to follow instructions!! And chidlows well, was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the earlier logs but we had the container within about a minute of arrival, great job on that one. Tried to take all sorts of backways to grab the final for the assembly required puzzle but should have just walked from wp2, it would have been easier and not wasted thirty minutes of our time.
After completing the lake leschenaultia caches we then continued towards Northam but time was getting tight as we didn't bring any push bikes so we were walking from the car to the cache each time which was slowing Us down significantly. We eventually got to Northam a bit later than expected and grabbed some much needed supplies to refuel the body for our next leg.
We arrived at the banks of the Avon to complete the Avon a swim cache in the geo yaks, which has been on the radar for a while with all the caching growth in the area. We paddled down with a nice strong current pushing us down the river towards GZ, we took some notes from he listing and the maps as we didn't want to take the phones on the water. Was a nice quick find in a logical spot, well the only spot really. And we then paddled back against the strong current which gave the arms a good workout. Only got marginally wet, thankfully as it was a bit chilly!!
We then planned out assault on the tree climbing aspect of the day the eucalyptus cache in wundowie, unfortunately we arrived in darkness and even after coming prepared with an extremely large ladder we still couldn't reach it and didn't want to risk life or limb in the dark for just one cache, so we decided to leave it for another time
All in all another great day out, should be able fo complete the kep series on our next visit to the area which hopefully isn't too far away although the CPS series has really taken a back seat after this series was published!
Thanks to all the COs for their caches. Cheers!

How do you beat Valoforce to a FTF in their own neighbourhood you ask?
Well the only way to do it, is be even closer!
I had detoured via Byford on the way home from work to grab fuel when I got a 'ping'. Had pulled over an was organising a FTF hunt with friends on another cache when this one came through. Noticed it was in Byford so loaded it up and I knew instantly which new statue this was and I was on the rd and even heading in the right direction so headed straight there.
It wasn't until I was a GZ that I actually hit navigate to cache, I need not bothered it was on the obvious structure. So after a quick search of the postie the cache was revealed. It took my just 7 minutes from the time the notification came through to the time I signed the log. Certainly my quickest FTF yet. This makes up for being beaten to the FTF's on my own street when I was at home! Certainly need to be quick around these parts. TFTC Johnson and Johnson.
