Thanks for the great walk along the beach. Really interesting rocks and coastlines along here. Thanks for bringing us here. Answers sent to the CO.
The morning was overcast and cool and so the beach didn’t appeal. A walk to Roadknight seemed the better choice. It was a good choice, even though the sun came out most of the afternoon. Thanks Na’wal for making us look at the rocks too - answers sent
This is one i did a while ago, then again, then again. Yes its my daily walk loop , sometimes twice a day. Sometimes a surf check. Sometimes to marvel at the hooded plovers. Sometimes to marvel at the tenacity of the monnahs to hang on, till they topple and land . Finally logged . Love the cliffs, but avoid the edge
We decided to take a day off today and head down the coast for some rest and relaxation. We packed the geodogs into the geomobile and headed towards the Great Ocean Road. We wandered out on the beach to obtain the information for this Earthcache. We had taken the geodogs for a walk on the area of the beach that dogs are allowed before returning them to the geomobile so that we could walk along this area of the beach that they are not allowed on. We were thankful that we had done this and that they were not allowed as we encountered a huge bull Australian Fur Seal near the end of the point (he was located within inches of GZ of the Traditional Cache on the point stopping us from signing the log). As we have found with Earthcaches by Na'wal that we have completed before, there is a great deal of interest to observe. We had a fantastic time learning about the geology of this beautiful part of the world. Thank you, Na'wal, for the time and effort in creating this Earthcache. An FP from us for this one was one of the best experiences we have had caching.
TFTC! Absolutely loved this earth cache! I visited at the perfect time - low tide. So was able to explore the beach in both directions. Lot of people enjoying the surf today!

A day of winter sunshine, gave us the perfect excuse to be out and about caching close to the strait - along the iconic G.O.R.
We learnt so much about the coastal geology.
Logged with a tick from the CO.
Our thanks 'Na'wal' for the great effort of creating this Earthcache and encouraging us to learn more about the geology and history of places we visit.

In Anglesea for the long weekend and we decided a trip to the beach was in order. Gathered these answers and spent plenty of time swimming and boogie boarding with the kids and friends. Thanks for a great EC. Some amazing coastlines along here. Answers have been sent.
Stayed in Angelsea with family friends for few days.
Enjoy walking along with my daughter and grandson.
We really enjoy doing earthcache and explore along here.
Thanks for earthcache.

Starting at the posted co-ords after parking nearby, we were sure we'd get wet completing this earthcache today. We checked out the first two locations then I waded to the last one without my phone or GPSr, I don't trust myself... or the waves. Then We got back to the car, moved it to the next posted carpark and made our way to the end of this cool earthcache. Great weather, great company, great experience here which earns it a favourite point from me. Logging with permission, thanks for the earthcache Na'wal.

Gevonden!
Back on the road again for another international trip. This time to Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and South Korea.
Like our previous trips we focussed on old caches, high favorites, rare cache types and pretty locations.
Most of the trip was together with Plaguerider, Zanna and FLtravelers, but some of it I did solo.
Logs were signed as DATT (Do All The Things) and if there were answers, we typically sent them as a group.
Thanks for maintaining the caches for us.

**Trip log:**
Found during Team DATT's (Do All The Things) annual international caching trip consisting of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5 and myself. Africa kicked it all off back in 2016, with a follow up European tour last year. I tried to pitch Asia but the pull of the Great Ocean Road and completing our 6th continent was too strong, and we landed on week long road trips through both Australia and New Zealand. Before meeting the team in Sydney though, I was able to schedule some layovers in Asia (Beijing, Bangkok and Singapore), so in the end I got a bit of everything. =)
**Australia Day 5 - Melbourne -> Port Campbell:**
The bulk of today was spent along the Great Ocean Road and WOW, what an experience! Definitely the highlight of the trip. We made it to the 12 Apostles before the receding light became a problem then decided to head back to Melba Gully (which we had skipped earlier in the day) in order to view the glowworms in all their glory. What an amazing nighttime trek that was! After our arrival into Port Campbell, we finished the day with pizza and beer at our hostel. =)
**Cache Log:**
This place was AWESOME! Talk about a tucked away wonder. Really enjoyed climbing around taking pictures. Answers have been or will be sent by a team member soon.

We’re on our annual international geocaching trip as Team DATT (Do All The Things) comprised of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5, and zanna. This year we chose to explore Australia and New Zealand. Zanna and I decided to do a two-day stopover in Beijing, a three-day stopover in Bangkok, and a 12-hour layover in Singapore on our way to meet up with the rest of the team in Sydney.
Once we got the Team back together, we made a “bee-line” to Lane Cove and various caches around Sydney. Then we headed down the coast on A1. After visiting Wasp Head, we headed up through Canberra and down M31 to Melbourne, after a webcam stop on Mount Buller.
We had a great time in Melbourne, which is my favorite city in Australia so far, then onto the Great Ocean Road, the highlight of Australia for this trip. After a couple days (not nearly enough) we left the ocean road and headed up A6 towards Victor Harbor (webcam) and Adelaide (webcams) for our flight to Auckland. Seems we found every webcam in Australia.
We targeted old caches, highly favorited caches, earthcaches, virtuals, and of course webcam caches, and anything else that got our interest along the way. Logs were signed DATT. Answers, where required, were sent by one of the team members. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our trip with this cache. Great spot. Climbed around and took pictures for quite awhile.

Visiting Point Roadknight brought back memories of a holiday in Anglesea and coming to this beach to collect sand worms for fishing bait decades and decades ago Today I was on a different mission and learned lots about the geology here. As well as getting sand blown into every crevice of me and my clothing in the strong wind. Thanks for the adventure Na'wal
Found this one while on our holidays heading from Brisbane to Tasmania and visiting the GOR.
Today was the start of our GOR tour. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting all of the WP’s for this earth cache. We loved the chance to walk on these beautiful beaches and had a lot of fun. Each location was unique and we learnt a lot about the geology of the area.
Answers have been forwarded to the CO.
Thanks Na’wal for taking the time to set up the Earthcache.

This was next on the list whilst we visited from Caroline Springs. The weather was great and we really enjoyed all of the different colours that we saw in the soils and rocks - certainly memorable.
This was a 2 day adventure, enjoying the Great Ocean Road and all the glory it offers.
Thanks for another fun cache.

What chance does the porous rock have when confronted by its mortal enemy the malevolent sea?
This wild coast is alive with the forces of nature and inevitable erosion.
Back down here yet again to do a few earthcaches whilst recovering from surgery in the company of able bodied companions.
Cheers

There are times when we feel inadequate for geocaching: technical tree climbs, caving expeditions and kayaking are generally out of our reach. Today, though, has been a day when "Senior Moment" became the best thing since sliced bread! (Actually, we slice our own bread, so it's just the best thing. Full stop.)
We came down to Anglesea to do maintenance on a few caches, then decided that we would like to try one find for the day. This Earth Cache seemed just the right thing to do. We parked the car in the car park, which we have never seen quite so empty, and off we walked. What a beauty! Sunshine, no wind, a huge beach (obviously, the tide was out), and best of all: There were very few people out and about. Mainly a few surfers whom we watched in the distance, two fishermen in a tinnie, and just a hand-full of tourists on the beach. Everybody else was minding their own business (work?!), leaving the beach to us oldies. We frolicked in the sand, walked on baby muscles, on seaweed and through shallow rock pools, admired the different rock formations, peeped through gaps, waited for the waves to spray as they hit the reef, just spent time in this beautiful part of the world.
The few tourists that were there still managed to occasionally photobomb our efforts of capturing the lovely place and time out here, but that could not diminish our enjoyment.
We remember coming here for the first time, in the company of friends, with our very young children some 25 years ago. One of them used to scream when he saw the water, wherever we visited a beach. Here, however, he felt safe and played in the sand, even allowed the gentle waves to touch his legs. What a break-through - a memory that will always stay with us!
Thank you, Na'wal, for adding another layer of appreciation to one of our family's special places! Our blessing and favourite point come from the bottom of our (senior but ticking) hearts!

Down at Aireys Inlet with MuggleWifeDoes for the annual families weekend away with all her girlfriends and families, always a weekend for too much to eat, drink, tennis, walking, swimming, etc., etc., etc.
Two formations not too far apart but very different from each other, enjoyed being questioned about the differences. Most amazing formation at way point 1.
**Thanks for placing this cache Na'wal**

Today Neville_devil, Ausfox; and I were out cleaning up a few caches in this part of the world. What a beautiful little spot it is as well. There weather today was just ideal for caching with clear skies and not being too hot. I wouldn't have thought that it was really swimming weather but that didn't stop the 100's of holiday makers down here making the most of the beautiful waters.
Neville_devil and I also managed to duck of half way through the WP's of this Earth cache to find the nearby tradition.
Answers were sent by Ausfox during our drive home

Found as part of team Capital Crunchers (KittyKatch, SmittGranny and me) while attending the Surf Coast Event, this was going to be our last one before lunch. We had met a nice little family whose son was very interested in what we were doing so joined us on our adventure. Such a lovely place and the formations were amazing. tftc Na'Wal.

The Capital Crunchers Team met up at this beach and spent a lovely hour or so wandering the beach, gathering info and grabbing the trad at the end of the point. I am so glad I got to spend some time on the beach exploring and enjoying the sun and waves. Top earthcache gets a FP from me - thanks a lot
During the Surf Coast Mega we cached our way around the area. A most interesting aspect was the Earthcaches which highlighted the wide variety in the geology of the area. This was one of them.
This was a fascinating area to visit. The geology of the area was very different from other nearby locations. The answers to the questions have been forwarded to the CO and approval to log has been received. Thanks Na'wal for a very informative and enjoyable caching experience.

A nice early morning walk to this spot during the mega. After failing to find the nearby cache , it was good to be able to put the brain to use and make some interesting observations. Very scenic albeit windy spot.
Beautiful walk with the tide out. The way these rocks are formed are very interesting and was an easy earth cache to do. Thanks for bringing us out here while we are here for the mega. Answers have been submitted.
In the area for the Mega and myself and Quasar3671 made out way along the beach for this great earthcache. The sun had just started biting and during the walk it went from a small storm to a gold coast summer day in 20 minutes.
Was really amazed to see the cliffs eroding so much, to the point that tree's were collapsing and others suspended in the air hanging on by their roots.
Really enjoyed this earthcache which was a perfect location and information to boot.
I don't know how the CO gathers all this info but I'm really impressed!
Cheers and thanks for another cool earthcache.

This was one of the caches I found while visiting Anglesea during the Mega Event. I had teamed up with Jacko83 and as we headed on down the coast, we found a number of caches as well as a few Earth Caches that we wanted to visit.
We had a nice walk along the beach, stopping at each of the specified locations. Some fascinating rock formations and a fav for me. Thanks Na'wal.

Visited with Glanville Girls in the morning as the tide was coming in, we needed to be quick to get to the waypoints! Really interesting geology here, thanks for teaching us about it Na'wal. Answers e-mailed.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LOCATION!!
So glad Caching brought me here and so glad I got to really enjoy the area!!
A definite fav point from us!
Dripping candle wax and molten toffee rocks everywhere (not really)
Reminded me of the old school decorative fishtank rocks my mum had when I was a child, I'm guessing back in the day places like this would have been destroyed for just that!
Earth is absolutely amazing and I'm so glad I get to see it in all it's glory!
We were in the area this weekend for The Surf Coast event, our second ever Mega.
Not usually liking crowds I have to say I really enjoyed the Mega, I was reminded how diverse and friendly our caching community is and this mega also reminded how many friends I have within the community, a warm fuzzy buzz has lasted several days!
We didn't do any crazy numbers and avoided the power trails mostly.
I had my family with me, caching wears thin on them after awhile so we did some easy ones near the Mega then we ventured out and focused on my favourite caches which are Earth caches and letterboxes.
Ms-enchantress and her lovely family came along.
*Logging with the CO's go ahead - Thanks Na'wal for the prompt reply

A great ramble along the beach on our way to find a nearby traditional cache, with our attention being drawn to the fascinating rocks of the area.
As we came onto the beach, a 4 year old lad asked what were doing. When he was told we were treasure hunting he was quite interested and the family was invited to tag along with us. I included him in the process by getting him to describe what he could see at each spot. It was a great experience.

I stopped early evening (around 6pm) to log this cache and unfortunately to DNF the nearby trad. I took photos at each WP but by far the majority of my time at this point was spent looking for the trad. I attach a few of the photos from my visit. Thanks for the cache.

As far as earthcaches go, this one certainly had a lot of "Wow!" moments! Impressive looking rocks and cliff formations! Answers have been sent.

Sunday morning was our time to volunteer at the Mega - G doing car parking and me doing registration. Being the second day it was fairly quiet with most activity being the Bingo sheets, a fun time was had by me anyway! lol
After our timeslot was up we then went to find all the Lab Caches with Q1 and lb, just making it back in time for their Where-i-go session with Day. Once that was finished Q1 and lb had to head back to Melbourne but lucky us are staying another night so we went a-caching again after a little bit of a rest lol
It was extremely windy here but had stopped raining so we soldiered on, it is such a gorgeous area!! We visited all 4 WP's driving to the 4th. Got some lovely pphotos at 3 & 4. In fact one of the photos at WP 4 is now my FB cover photo!!! Answers sent

A fairly lengthy earthcache this one, with a few long walks between waypoints, but I got there in the end and sent off my answers. Hopefully I'll get a pass mark.
**Thanks for placing this cache Na'wal**

Taking the opportunity to clean up Anglesea's map before mega, on such a lovely sunny day, we went for a stroll along this beautiful beach. Having used this beach many times in my youth and not really ever taking any notice of these rock formations, I was excited to read your information and learn about the geology of Pt Roadnight and Demo Bluff. Today in the company of MrT, we examined them very thoroughly, marvelling at mother natures artwork. We were fascinated with each wpt and how there was something different to see.
Thanks Na'wal for showing us this beautiful significant geological spot.
A favourite for the experience.

Out and about on this rainy windy day with The Pac man, scoping out places for hiding caches for the upcoming Surf Coast Mega when I spotted this unfound earth cache. Joe had already done it but we took the walk so I could gather the required information. A very cool spot, especially WP3.
**Thanks to Na'wal for the earth cache.**

Answers sent to the CO. This is almost my 'home beach' and I've been coming here for 45 years - have also pulled a fair few garfish, mullet and salmon out of these waters over the years! All that time I never knew the cliffs were called Demon's bluff - you learn something new every day. Went down with the geokids on a windy and wild day to get the clues. TFTC
Logged with permission.
We headed down to Anglesea for a CITO event and of course I had to see what else I could see.
Little Ruverbug was keen for some beach time, so she and semi geo husband hung out on the beach while I put way tooooooo looooong into a DNF on a nearby trad, the ECO of this cache may understand my DNF pain on that one
So on to this Earthcache. I spent much of my childhood along this part of the coast, a month a year camping locally. I was familiar with the geology of the area. As always though, it's nice to look at something you are so familiar with through different eyes, looking at features and structures that have been passed over in favour of others or looking at in differing detail, and the way time and the elements have worn and changed a place.
Cheers Na'wal, I appreciate your work as always.

Suscoe is logging this Earth Cache with the permission of the ECO.
Well all good things must come to an end and this was our last stop on the surf coast run for this morning.
Visisted each waypoint and observed and pondered what and why at each spot.
Such an interesting variation in geological objects.
Folks were going about their sight seeing this morning. fishing too.
Lots of photos being taken and people enjoying a beaut sunny morning.
Thanks to Na'wal for taking the time to create this Knights&Demons EC.
A great spot for a walk too.

Logging this cache with the owners permission after spending a lot of time in the area gathering the required information.
I have been to this area both at night time and during the day to find caches during the past years.
This landscape always impresses me with its rugged beauty and tortured shapes that have been created by the forces of nature.
Gathered my answers along here and then moved around the other side of the bay where some surprises were in store for me as I have never ventured here before.
This cliff and how it was formed is something I have no idea how it was formed with its unusual characteristics and something you do not see from a distance.
Really enjoyed gathering the answers to this Earth Cache and it gets a F.P. from me.

We headed down to Anglesea today to scope out the area before the MEGA later in the year.
The rain held off for most of the day and the town was pretty quiet.
We made the trek to this one in the wind and drizzle.
The rock formations are great here and we nearly got caught by the tide!
Lots to take in around the point and the Demons Bluff area was a nice walk.
Thanks for another great EarthCache.

Found with the family.
It was good to get down to the beach even if it wasn't swimming weather.
Thanks for the hide and we enjoyed the spot.

Found with Mum, Dad and Eddie.
We got thoroughly wet at the stops as I wanted to jump in the puddles at literally every cache.
Still a fun day in the wet weather.
Thanks for the hide!

What a spectacular site on a beautiful but brisk Queen's Birthday morning at low tide. I hope that everyone who attends the Mega Event in November takes the time to come and admire this magnificent area. Plenty of surfers out, while others are enjoying a stroll along the beach and around the rocks. Have emailed Na'wal with my answers. I often walk the Anglesea beach, but this is an area I don't visit often enough. TFTC
EC #201.
I've always enjoyed visiting this area, so I didn't need too much prompting to visit again this morning. Low tide on a sunny day made for a great walk on the beach, this time with a more analytical view as I gathered the required answers. This sure is a fragile area! The views were stunning this morning.
Answers emailed and promptly confirmed by the CO.
Thanks for the EC lesson and for bringing me out here to this great location, Na'wal.
