Came along with ilook4geo after an appointment in Moonee. We looked around for quite a while but fond nothing. Seeing this one has had several DNF logs and hasn't been found in about 1.5 years, it would be good if the CO cold please check it out to see if it is still in play.
Only had time for a quick look this morning , if its the kind of hide I think it is they usually take me a long time so will need to come back.
No luck, bush/or tree has overgrown hugely and looks like work has been done in the area. Cache may need some maintenance
Seem to recall there was a cache near the mall entry years ago nothing on the map now.
Parked close to GZ and dived into the bushes. Seems this time of the afternoon is change of shift between late lunch drinkers and raffle hopefuls, oh, and a gardener in the pub gardens. Took me a while to spot the wee blighter. Nobody spotted me If they did, they decided to avoid the weirdo redhead with twigs growing out of her head crawling about in the shrubbery.

Found at night, security guard from Tavern came out of nowhere...ended up as allies. Thankyou!
Have been coming up this way for years and have eaten at the pub heaps! Just started and funny to find it here! Tftc

Little did I know, but as I was peering into this cache's likely hiding spot, my brand new sunglasses got dislodged from my hat by foliage. They're the first pair I've ever bought that I've paid a bit of money for – I usually only spend about $10 or $15 because I lose sunnies like I'm shelling peas.
Anyway, after finding and signing the cache, I retreated to my temporary lodging at Moonee campground, and it was only the next day that I discovered my expensive specs were nowhere to be found. And it was another whole day after that before it dawned on me to search at this GZ. (I'd logged three other finds in the area in the meantime.)
So, back I went, via the tavern for a swift couple to fortify myself for the search. If the difficulty rating of the cache is a 2, the rating of the glasses was about a 4. I spent 15 minutes rummaging through the greenery, with the cache container swinging gently the whole time in its spot in front of me. Finally, instead of scrambling around at ground level, I stood up to full height in the bushes and – boom! – there they were, my overpriced goggles, resting neatly over a branch. I'd assumed they had fallen to the ground.
So, I made a couple of finds here, but thanks for the one that counts, Mystery Sleuth.

Squirrellette was frustrated by me finding this cache as she’d been searching in that exact area for the last 5 minutes! Haha The description helped me narrow down the search area, as it did allow us to remain mostly invisible from the many pub and carpark muggles. Relieved to have found it, making it our fifth for the day. Now it's time for some pub grub!

Celebrating my geowife's 21st birthday (again) and noticed a cache nearby. After 800 finds this is only the 2nd that I have found in the dark. Suprisingly my specialgeoson and I found it quickly. TFTC Mystery Sleuth

Today we headed north as far as Arrawa then returned back to town, caching as we went.
This pub was so busy today, lots of families in attendance. We were able to find the cache out of sight of the locals.

Stopped off here to grab this cache. Very busy today. Got a great park very close to GZ. But too many people watching to look properly today. Will return when in the area again.
TFTC, quick find, I have had a couple of meals at the nearby pub and they were good, its actually a pretty good pub with plenty to entertain all ages.

We looked for 10 hours the whole day for the cache in the right place and did not find
Checked on this cache today and sure enough it was gone. Temporarily Disabling Listing whilst we decide whether or not to slightly move it and/or change it to a different type of cache.
Having done a number of caches around Nana Glen and the drive towards Moonee Beach it was time to stop and stock up on some needed food items while we are camping up in Wooli. Geohubby headed on in to the supermarket and I checked the iPhone for any nearby geocaches. I think we've found two nearby here previously in various places in this location. Anyway I saw the green box on the map and jumped out of the car and headed over. It wasn't long before the find was made and the log signed in a good location out of sight. Thanks Mystery Sleuth for placing the cache here for us and others to find. A good hide for those travelling the highways of Oz. Cheers and happy caching!
