time to go I will sort a new place for this one on the next visit with any luck
Up from Canberra visiting my sister at her holiday house in Yeppoon. Quick find after a lovely trip out to Byfield to look around. Needed a cache for the day and this was a perfect one. I too suffered cache blindness but my sisters muggle husband’s eagle eye saved the day. TFTC
Stopped in here today to grab this one. I had some serious cache blindness going on here. Luckily my muggle Aunt spotted it. Tftc
I have it on good athority this one is fine. still waiting to be found
Thanks Blacklighter

Caching in and around the area, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

In the logs everyone said easy find, took me all morning to find. But i will also class this one as easy. Good one for the kids, but beware of the green ants.

Found after I turned and tripped over a branch. Result was a bloody gash to the shin, broken screen on iPad and a little cache box.
Mossies in plague proportions! And green ants! Left some lotion and an iPad pointer. TFTC
After spending a week just south of Bundaberg doing a farm sit so the family could go away for a well earned break, we decided to head north to Yeppoon for a few days to find a few caches to complete some more of the spaces on our next D/T Loop.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name in the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Rainforest Cookie for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Found in the company of s geo-newbie (The Mariner) on s war and blustery day. It took a while. But we got it TFTC
After a day of focusing on the CRY trail, a diversion was needed so we headed out on the road north. After a short walk up to the treatment plant, a brief search to the side was successful at 15:30. TFTC
on our way to Red Rock for a picnic with the family and stopped here for Ratdog 12 and I to find. Rainforest Cookie didn't need to sign as it's here cache - she stayed in the coolness of the airconditioned car and I can't say I blame here. its damn hot out here. we wandered our way over to GZ and I poked around in some suspicious rocks before RD12 told me she had spotted it. all good but then it was surrounded by an army of green ants, I reached across them all and grabbed the container. signed the log, returned to hiding spot without the cache guardians twigging to us being there thankfully. Now for lunch...
I did this one the hard way which considering I was wearing jandals probably made it much harder than it needed to be! Found and signed.
Very quick find! Am loving Yeppoon and all the other beaches. Visiting from Townsville QLD. Happy hunting.

After a massive effort for "Proximity" which ended in a DNF, this one was also going that way [:o)] Dave came to the rescue and unearthed a plain easy hide.
It is interesting to learn about how water gets to these towns.
Thanks Rainforest Cookie.

In Yeppoon for 7 days and head home in 2 days. My plan was to achieve 50 finds whilst up here without any really difficult ones, due to a crook knee at the moment, avoiding the puzzles and any needing water craft. I have achieved my goal of 50, actually have surpassed that number and now just finding ones close to where we are staying.
Parked right at GZ virtually. Did not take long to find. No sign saying to keep off the grass. Replaced where and how found. TFTC Rainforest Cookie.

A nice easy find today -no muggles and a gorgeous winter day in the tropics, thanks for the cache signed log and did a little trade.
Gotcha !!! Been saving this one for a "Get Outdoors Day " souvenir.
I remember when we came to live in Yeppoon over 40 years ago, the water came straight from Waterpark Creek and was often tea-coloured from the tannins . If you wanted a clean white wash you had to use tankwater. Thanks Rainforest Cookie for another in the water series. Visited TBs and GCs.
