We had a great day today, driving out to Mudgee via Coolah and Gulgong, managing 37 finds including 7 trigs in perfect weather, if a little hot at times.
We love these solar system models - we're going to have to check the rest now! The cache needs replacing, the lid is gone, and the container full of ants.... TFTC

A stop in Coolah for a coffee and cake then it was some quick finds before travelling on. This was one of them. Logbook was exposed. CO might like to check it.

Stopped on the way to Tamworth. Found the cache out in the open so I rehid it where I thought it should go.
Cache 7446 on 6 Apr 2021.
Finally, a real geocaching mission with an airplane flight, nights away, so many caches on the list and a road trip home! Flew up from CBR on 1 April with TikvaNZ to join Fox in Jox for a 5 day full-on mission centred around attending the Dayboro Mega event. Plan is to cache in around BNE, targeting old caches, virtuals, LBHs, Wherigos, DT combinations and anything else that takes our fancy and then start heading home Monday via as many counties as we can squeeze in. We have so many caches on the list we are unlikely to get them all, but we will try our best! Don’t care if it rains or snows - QLD here we come!
This cache: quick find!
Thanks smee1961 for the cache and the fun!

This was found out in the open with no logbook and a dead mouse inside. Cleaned it out as best we could and put a new sheet of paper inside, then placed where it should have been (as confirmed by the CO. TFTC smee1961. It is great to have some caches to find in this area, even if we weren't out to do them all today.
When we arrived, the log was sitting on the grass. Maybe washed out with the recent rains. We only had a mint tin so placed the log into it and replaced at where our GPS's said GZ was. Hope this was ok? Thanks for the cache and the bringing us to the interesting display nearby.
Very wet under foot was this location , Cache was received ,signed and replaced .[things a little damp]
Thanks smee1961 the cache just hit the 100th finds..

While staying Tamworth for a few days, I ran out of caches to find
So, I grabbed my geodog Scruffy and decided to find a few caches further afield.
And this was one of them ...

Camping in the Coolah Tops NP, and did some caching around Coolah. Easy find TFTC .
Camping in the Coolah Tops NP, on this extended Australia Day Long Weekend, we came off the mountain and had a day in and around Coolah. This was our first cache of the day, and a quick find, working our way down in all the obvious spots. TFTC.
First cache of the new year. Out caching with Team_lewin and decided to start in coolah. A quick find and on our way to the next cache in town.
Out and about for a new years day caching run from dubbo to Coolah, Binnaway and back home through Mendooran with brother aussieben in tow. Great afternoon full of laughs and smileys!
Thanks Smee1961 for another good cache. IndigoBlue the geopoodle likes this one.
Tge log is wet so I replaced it with a waterproof one.

Roadtripping to Orange and stopped at the bakery for lunch and for the kids to have a play in the park. Quick park and grab. Logged as R1BG. TFTC
We are on a road trip out West from Sydney and decided to come via Coolah purely because there’s caches here This was our first, and our geopooch (pic) very happy about it too, as there were lots of other doggy smells about for her to sniff while having a run around. Thanks for the cache!
I will get to replace this log within the next week. . Anyone who finds this can log a find without any problems. Cheers and happy caching
Quick find in the dark after crossing the muddy park. Unfortunately the log is soaking wet and not able to be signed and I didn't have any replacement logs on me to put in.
Now off to Mudgee.

Staying at Coolah for a couple of days to find the caches in this lovely litttle town. We decided to walk around Coolah this morning to find any that could be easily reached on foot. We found six and had only one DNF.
Great variety of containers and hides.

Another Neptune. I think it is the third one I have seen. Not sure about the dogs. TFTC
Got the better of me so I went back and looked again, found where our Geo friends Dunmowin had stamped it one year ago
Last place i looked. Used to travel through here a lot in the 80s. Even stayed at the pub. Thanks for bringing us back.

Many thanks for putting these caches out and maintaining them all the caches that we did today where in great shape, we were heading home with a drive from Dubbo to Maitland from seeing the Family, and heard this detore had a few caches for us, we also heard that there was a good Pie shop in Coolah "Coolah Bakery" just on the right as you get into town, well it was one of the best pies around for geocaching the one that you can drive with it in one hand and not slop it down your arm Oh and they taste great as well highly recommended, really love the area and the fact most containers where different yes a few minties but you need them but all in all we had a great 2 hours of caching from Coolah to 30 kms north or so to king and I , and what's more the geowife was happy as well win win , so we have done the approach from Dubbo and north of the town we will be back to finish the rest off in the near future another family trip thanks again, I will stamp pad this log
On a trip for a few days in our camper, hoping to pick up a few caches along the way. We called in on Neptune yesterday- it was the last one of the series we still had to visit! Got to the caravan park and checked caches - why didn't I do that on the way in?? Ended up with a multi at the caravan park and of course had to come back to Neptune for a second visit today! Quickly spotted by eagle eyed hubby, though hint told us where to be looking! Never thought yesterday there would be two reasons to visit this planet! Thanks for this cache, and the enjoyment of bringing me to Neptune a second time!
Found on the way to Queensland with aqau, doing the mystery in the museum.
Thanks for the cache

We found a couple of old magnets but couldn’t find the cash on our second attempt

An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.

Called in to Coolah for fuel.
Hope no dog had cocked his leg here. Thanks Smee

Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale and collecting a few caches along the way. Thanks so much to all the COs for your time and effort in making and placing these caches as well as making this drive a lot more interesting. Happy caching!
Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale after a stay in Sydney for 2 weeks. I apologise for the generic log, however due to the number of caches found, it would take me ages to do individual logs. To the CO's thank you for placing the caches in the spots you have. Enjoyed this part of the country and will probably be back in this area in next couple of months after the Mega Event in Queanbeyan in April. TFTC.
I found 2 little magnets (on on top of the other on the edge, where I could see them before I even bent down to look) But I also didnt find a cache ... and I looked, and looked ... not really anywhere it could be that I didn't look, unless it is at least 6 feet high.
I left the magnets where I found them.
Would have been nice to find this - the previous cache I found today was at another Neptune - so making detours to Neptune twice in a row while driving from Caloundra to Canberra would have been quite funny - lol
(Well, I suppose I did do that, but I can't "visit" my TBs to say they did)

Searched for a while, following the directions of the hint but to no avail. We did however find a magnet stuck to the underside, possibly the remains of a muggled/misplaced container??
#1989 - It's great to find a lot of caches in a small country town. All the more reason to spend some time (and money!) here while I am travelling in my camper. I am staying overnight at the local Sporting Club where I also had a great dinner.
Number four on my list for today. I am glad for my handy geo tools! Lower I couldn't go!

After leaving Dubbo we headed to Coolah for an over night stay & to locate the many caches in the area. Placing all the caches in town must be a boost for the local area.

A nice quick find on our way through to visit our grandkids in Coffs Harbour. It's great to get an easy one so we can be on our way again quickly. TFTC
Stopped here and thought this would be a likely spot for a geo cache. And it was!
Could see this one from quite a distance, so an easy find, we have seen most of these boards in our travels.
