I have moved house and have to relocate cache

20-Mar-20
This was at least my second try at finding this cache, so I used a PAF. I then went straight to where he’d described, found the screw but no cache. There were some people working on a car out the back, so I took my heart in my hand and approached them asking for Blamo! It turns out she’d moved out 2-3 years ago and removed the cache a couple of months ago, so it looks like it’s a Dead Letterbox!

Hmmm. Wasn't sure whether to leave the bugs there. Could I suggest some absorbent pellets to help keep things dry.
You know you have the perfect set up to put a propper tb structure with an insert with draws. It could be locked securely with a coded lock.
Initially my GPS Put me at the neighbours and I could not see what for the life of me could be a tb hotel. They must be very tolerant people.
Left 2 tbs.

One of those dumb moments when you strain to reach the container, then find the attachment. Just sort of one of those days today. Container and contents in good condition.

Thanks Blamo for this placement, a good cache to get a smiley on.

Hi there Blamo!.

We are leaving the Latrobe Valley tomorrow, so our caching run today concentrated on trading as many travel bugs as we could. We managed to log 8, which we will distribute somewhere in SA or WA.

All up we found 5 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are wet.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** 1 in, 4 out

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Dropped a bunch of travel bugs off to be on their way. The cache was quite wet, looks like it’s taken in a bit of the recent rain we’ve had. I didn’t have time to check the log to see if it managed to stay dry but might be worth a check and a dry out Smile

Finally haha had to come back without kids, felt weird looking through yards! Lol took nothing, left nothing (sorry). It had a big puddle in it guys, might need a new container?

Took us a little bit as we weren’t 100% sure whose place we were supposed to be poking around but we got there in the end. No trackables, so we dropped off the 2 that we had - a geocoin and a kombi van. Peeked at the house and saw someone through the window, gave a wave but not sure if you saw us. SL Thanks for the cache. Cheers Smile

We were fortunate to have Ozglory, a caching couple from Kempsey we met up with earlier in the year on our trip north, drop in for a few days. They are prolific hiders in the Kempsey area and have put out some innovative and imaginative series which we enjoyed wholeheartedly along with their hospitality.
So of course we had to head out and do some caching. We began with a few of our own hides locally just to whet the appetite and then headed off for a senior lunch at the Traralgon Bowling Club before doing some more caches.
We pulled up quite close to this one, but it had us a little concerned for a while. There did not appear to be a lot of hiding places and we felt quite exposed, but the trusty GPSr led us to a particular spot where we soon got a visual on the cache. A quick look around and no one in sight so it was retrieved, the signing done and returned.
No Travel Bugs inside, but hopefully some soon.

I was in need of 5 more points for the 4th Mary Hyde souvenir and a trackable that needed releasing. I am also headed out this way to retrieve Geokid from his weekend away. So what better than to find a cache specifically made for TBs?
TN left a bonkazonk (and the TB 'Computer Bug')

On the way back from some training in I had to do in Drouin I had time to look for a couple of caches. I can see why there could be lots of muggles about here but being school holidays meant it was quiet. Found the cache and all the TB's in it but I had already dropped off the TB's I had today Sad Maybe I will drop off some next time I am going through. TFTC

Didn't seem right looking for this cache in someone's front yard and probably wouldn't have stopped except for the multi cache way point across the road.
Found very quickly however and didn't need to enter any properties.
No TBs stored here, even with a few listed.
Thanks for the cache Blamo!

Gps jumping around like crazy and I don't like the idea of wandering around on someone's property, especially if I don't know it's the right one

Popped in today to collect trackables to take away with Kato Potato and I, but alas, they're all gone! Sad

02-Jan-17
Dropped to continue your adventure. Good luck and safe travels

02-Jan-17
Kato Potato and I were abandoned by our husbands who'd gone on a man-date out cycling, so what are two lonesome wives to do but take their geokids caching? Right? As there were a few new local caches, we piled the four kids into the geo-vehicles and set out on a mini-adventure. This was our first stop to both gather info on the multi and pop our names on this new Trackable hotel's log. A really great set of coordinates led me straight to the cache then my brain shut down and I tried to maneuver it through the gap between the front and side fences. I then decided to lean over the fence.....when I spotted the easy way of extracting the cache. I am so disappointed in my observational abilities. Either way, our names are on the log and I took down the codes of the TBs as I'm not going to be able to move them on any time soon. TFTC Blamo! and we'll be back to fill it up over time.

02-Jan-17
After enlisting the help of Mummy Short Legs to clear out a few new caches in the area we stopped off nearby this one to collect the final details for a nearby multi. When we checked the map we happily discovered that this one was right next to us... ie 15m away. Winner! So while I was crunching the multi numbers MSL wandered over and made a quick find, taking snaps of the resident travel bugs for logging purposes. I couldn't justify moving on any bugs at the present time because of my lack of caching flexibility however no doubt we will bring a few more back to roost over time. Thank you so much for this exciting addition to the Traralgon cache collection Blamo!

The rain had stopped and Christmad fun done. So it's time to geocache!!!. At first we were a bit apprehensive of where the co-ordinates were leading us but the clue helped. Thanks for the fun. Silkyie

Ducked past to see the new trackables
Dropped in another from nearby

25-Dec-16
When this cache popped up on my alerts I was excited to have a cache close by that would have regular Trackables. Stopped by with belladekka and debbatron, and when we realised where the cache was likely to be we all felt a bit awkward. But the lure of the duck travel bug was too strong for me so we went looking and once the GPS settled we found the cache. I collected the duck who I have affectionately called Sir Quacksalott, I even found a friend for him later in the evening in another cache! Thanks for the hide, hopefully lots of trackables will come to visit! Smile

**FTF** 20:25 21/12/16 with A.

The kids and I were cooking tea … and the emails came through …. 3 new caches, 1 in Traralgon, 1 in Callignee and 1 near Warragul. Well Warragul is too far away but let’s go for the other two.
Only A wanted to go, so off we set.
We tackled the Traralgon cache first. The co-ords were spot on and as we were reaching for the cache the CO (Blamo!) and her little tikes came out … including the one and only Lincoln!!
I dropped off a TB (duck) and picked up a cute little purse.
I would have loved to stop to talk … but …. another FTF was on offer … and it was Lincoln’s! …
Off we ran to chase the next cache.
Lovely to meet you Blamo! and Lincoln. Sorry we couldn’t talk longer … this FTF chasing is an illness.
