We spent a long time trying to find this one. Perhaps a child would have found it far quicker than we did. Past logs helped greatly telling us to look on the opposite side of the path, but it still eluded us. After a final inspection before giving up icw made the find! Tftc.

26-Oct-24
Some say its easy, well if your lucky yes, BUT not for us whose gps put us near the fence line. Once reading the hints we eventually got there. TFTC

Wet but the paper you can still write onTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache

Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Saturn's day the nineteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Lol...it took a few minutes for me to find this cache with so many hiding places I resorted to reading some previous logs then I started a systematic search and spied the tiniest bit of shine could it be I thought..yes it was..turns out my write all pen didn't work to well on the waterproof paper you might want to bring a sharpy.

21-May-24
Spent a few minutes looking before it got too dark.Hunter

This was a tricky hide and could have taken much longer. I just happened to sit down to browse some logs for a clue and my headtorch shone a light right on the cache! Thanks xambo4u - such a lovely little spot to bring kids to play. I'll have to bring my 5-year old here.

Had a good luck, but no cache for me: David

03-Sep-23
An extremely well hidden cache. Could keep the grandkids entertained for quite some time. Loved the container A FP for that TFTC xambo4u

Found it straight away no trouble at all and I absolutely love the cache container! TFTC

01-Aug-23
After a FTF nearby, I took the opportunity to search out a few more caches in the area.
This one took a good minute or six to locate.
As for previous finders, the cache was on the opposite side of the path from the location shown on the map.
I've not seen this container type in this size before.
All in good condition.

As I approached this cache I was certain that I had been here before, but upon seeing the playground I realised I definitely hadn't. But there are some very similar looking courts near here and when I checked the geo-map I saw a smiley nearby that was what I had remembered.

The cache itself was an interesting one, I enjoy this kind of cache. It took me a moment to work out how to get in but I enjoyed the challenge!

Thanks heaps for the cache!

30-May-23
Found it! Today the plan was to find 12 caches to complete the challenge for the month. I decided to cache around Wantirna to save on traveling too far for favourite caches, as they are a bit sparse now for me. This was the first one and it didn’t take me too long. The phone had me on one side but found the hiding place on the other. I didn’t have to leave the path. I was pleased there weren’t any muggles about today!! TFTC SL. Favourite point for the container as I haven’t seen one of these before! The log sheet is nice and dry! ️

03-May-23
After picking up the GeoRanger MkII from some additional mods, Inswung by this nearby cache before the skies opened up.

I spotted something quickly and soon had the cache in hand. I’ve not seen a cache of this type in this size before.

Thanks xambo4u for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Decided to wander over to this one while waiting on my chicken and chips expecting an easy find, this was not the case with the case. Such a sneaky hiding spot, unexpectedly difficult.

Really enjoyed finding it though and super cool container!

Happy to report the the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

21-Nov-22
Spending a few days on the road with Wilbert as we travel to and from the Whittlesea Mega event.
Having a great time finding an array of different types and D/T rated caches.
Thanks to all the CO’s for hiding your particular cache.
Day 3 and we’re hunting LGA’s today.
My apologies for the boiler style log.

15-Nov-22
While on my way to the MEGA event in Whittlesea, I had the opportunity to get in a few extra days of caching beforehand. This got me to go to areas I would not have normally seen and to some awesome caches. Today I arranged to meet up with Snickersallan and we would do some caches around the area, fill in some grid spaces and look at some labs. We had fun chasing multi’s, although a couple did not work out even when the checker agreed with us. We got in a few caches around this area before we had to head back to a dinner event I had organised.

This one we managed to get in between the rain showers, just wait ten minutes and the sun will be back. Thanks for the cache and with the log signed and cache replaced as found we moved onto the next one in the area.

15-Nov-22
Visiting from Qld for the Whittlesea Mega and picking up a few districts in the mean time.
Thanks xambo4u for maintaining your cache so well, found in the rain and not seen a container like this before...a favourite point coming your

Decided to check this one out today as due to the couple of DNF. It looks if it’s gone I have replaced with different container. passerby warned the presence of a blue tongue lizard, so beware.

05-Oct-22
No luck for us today. Cache may have gone missing. Found perfect nook for a container to sitin, but no cache. PAF and contacted cache owner, both hints still left us empty handed.

Got it thanks to a friend of mine!!!! Well hidden j just say.

21-Dec-21
Nice hide. You cache is a bit wet some logs are illegal but nice container.

19-Nov-21
An easy enough find, although when I found it, it was FULL of water! Luckily the logbook is on the right sort of paper and I just tipped the water out.

30-Oct-21
Wow I thought this one was tough. After two failed attempts, I had to reach out to another friendly cache for an additional hint and finally the cache was in hand. TFTC

26-Oct-21
found it! Second attempt as muggles were here after school last week and we couldn’t wait them out TFTC!

11-Oct-21
Back over here again so took the opportunity to grab a nice quick cache whilst we were here. Thanks for placing it for us to find.

11-Oct-21
Shame that the grandkids aren't allowed to visit as they would have happily helped find this one with us. Nice quick find and off to my appt. Thanks for placing the cache.

I thought I’d sit down and have a rest and then I looked forward and there it was. The inside of the container was wet. The log is fine though. Love the container. Hard to open though. TFTC

master 5 found this one!

Found @09:47 #7829
At last this is found. Being close to home its always been left to be an emergency cache or for a lockdown. Well had attempted earlier in the year during lockdown 3.0 but no luck and today I wasn't so sure luck would be with me. Like last time check all spots seen and nope still nothing. Then checked previous logs and then a photo was seen and this at least allow me to locate that position and so now with a smaller area to search the cache was soon quickly found. Mmmm not sure how I missed that. Still very pleased to have a smiley now here at last. Coordinates are spot on. [^]

No luck indeed

No luck

31-Mar-21
I had tried this one some time ago but Muggles out walking and old Mate with his mower made it hard to search, today the place was empty and the cache was soon found.

Thanks xambo4u for the cache.

24-Mar-21
Finally found it. Looked in that spot last time too. How am I so blind!

16-Mar-21
Didn't find it

24-Feb-21
Did a run here today and dried it out.

09-Jan-21
With a bit of spare time before picking up my wife from work nearby, finding a cache or two was (of course) the sensible way to use up that time.

This one is clever and more challenging than it has a right to be in this location. Very well hidden in all the circumstances. Unfortunately the log was rather wet and could not be written on (even with the waterproof paper; my pen just wasn't having it) - I have attached a photo as evidence. TFTC Smile

22-Oct-20
We are open for business again

09-Jul-20
This cache is temporarily unavailable.

xambo4u: Sadly, metropolitan Melbourne is now back under Stage 3 COVID-19 restrictions. As a result, I am disabling this cache during this heightened period of risk.

05-Mar-20
Took a little searching, and some investigative works of a photo form a previous log, but eventually found this one. Looked there first, but obviously not hard enough. TFTC Smile

04-Mar-20
Suuper waterloggged log, however waterproofed paper, so still able to log! Great find!

12-Feb-20
Out for a walk and diverted via this cache to fill in another day on the caching calendar. We had been here once before without success. Today we looked in all the obvious spots without luck then Mr Pooky looked more thoroughly and he eventually made the find of the very well hidden cache. TFTC and bringing us to this park.

02-Feb-20
Found on third attempt with help through pinkpiggy7. Phew thanks everyone

02-Feb-20
Great hiding spot. Thanks

22-Jan-20
The weather is not very nice.. been playing up like shower and sun.
Glad that found it bit longer.
Thanks xambol4u for placing it.

A Did Not Find for us today looked for ages and even with previous logs had no joy

24-Oct-19
Easy to find and quick to log due to raining. Thanks xambo4u for placing this cache

20-Oct-19
My gps told me to go to the bridge with all the rocks around it and I thought that I would be searching there for ever then my gps told me to go elsewhere great hide tftc

02-Oct-19
Beautiful sunny October morning and it’s always great to discover a new park. The geohound investigated the little bridge and mushrooms whilst I pondered the rocky terrain!

I thought I had an obvious spot sorted but it turned out the real hide was close by.

The sheets were quite wet due to a damaged bag. I dried out the sheets (still plenty of room on them) and replaced the bag Smile

Nice one

07-Sep-19
Nice lucky find

07-Sep-19
Finally found but very wet

12-Jul-19
Almost exactly 2 years ago we tried to find this one but had no luck. I hadn't realised until we got here and the memories of these rocks came flooding back. We found ourselves looking in the same spots until bingo! How did we not try that before? It's a nice little playground even though it's a bit wet today.

30-Jun-19
Found it clever hide

18-Jun-19
BubsMagee and MisterMagee headed out in the rain to find this one, to help us meet the requirements for a challenge cache. Having a playground nearby was an extra incentive!

Given the hint, the hiding spot seemed obvious when we arrived, yet we couldn't lay hands on the cache. With a further hint from the CO, giving us confidence we were on the right track, we eventually found a very well hidden cache. Just glad we could retrieve it without releasing a Balrog!

Great hide, TFTC and +1 fav.

08-May-19
Took quite a bit of searching to locate this very well hidden cache. Almost gave up but one last check of an area I thought I had checked revealed the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams

27-Apr-19
The grandkids would have probably found this one quicker than us, we looked in all the wrong sport before finding the right spot. Nice hide and great for all the geocaching kids.

24-Apr-19
Out with BoabTree, we found this after investigating a few spots. It may be a little more tricky for Grandkids. Thanks xambo4u.

22-Mar-19
At last! Couldn't lay a hand on it a couple of years ago, probably looking for the wrong thing based on the hint. After a bit more probing today the cache was in hand. Then came the problem of extracting the log as the cache was jammed full with TB Liam. So decided to take Liam on a journey with me. TFTC

12-Mar-19
Did a bit of rocking and rolling and nearly gave up before I spotted something unusual! Loved this cache design, quite difficult to retrieve log though as it is stuffed full, I was unable to remove it and I had also forgotten a pen, silly me. Thank you for this find!! #81

02-Mar-19
Was a little harder to find that expected. A quick call to OHC confirmed we were on the right idea just a lot further in than I thought. Log finally signed. TFTC

08-Feb-19
Great secluded park for the kids!!! Dropped off a TB!

05-Feb-19
Hint was very indicative of the action required. Some rockin’ - rollin’ was required but the spotlight on the performer soon had my attention. Thanks xambo4u for the hunt and chase. SL TNLN.

04-Feb-19
Whoops, out and about recently and forgot to log this one. Thanks for placing it.

03-Feb-19
All in good condition.
So many cool hiding spots here.
No fear.

26-Jan-19
Had a good look have now idea where it is

16-Dec-18
It was some time ago but this was actually the second time I had visited - the last time there were muggles and not enough time for a decent search. This time around it was a quick find. tftc.

10-Nov-18
*10 Nov 2018, Found @9:47 am, Find # 2200.*

After a visit to the local dentist it was time to go and get a cache. Cache was located quickly although it is not in a good way. Bag contained a lot of water which I emptied out and the paper has rust on it.

**Thanks to xambo4u for placing this cache.**

Imagine finding a cute little Park at the end of a dead end street.
Cool
Thanks

16-Sep-18
Requires small hands and no fear. Lucky we had geoboy11 with us.

04-Sep-18
Found on the second attempt. A day off provided enough time for another quick search, but without a pen. Signing the log will have to wait for the third time lucky!

28-Aug-18
The GPS led me on a merry dance, but a little logic, looking at the map and reading the clue soon had the Cache in hand.
TFTC

09-Aug-18
Found it! Little black case. Signed by Jason Christian and Aaliyah.

07-Jul-18
With a previous finder here today, I got some redemption as OHC told me where to look , a lot of new mulch here meant it was very well covered, thanks for the hide Smile

01-Jul-18
Great Hide. Nice Park. Thanks for placing the cache. TFTC

30-Jun-18
Sprinkled with many places this could be hidden, it was eventually found. Not the sort of container I was looking for in this situation. But then after overlooking the hiding spot a few times it did pop out at me.

23-Jun-18
Second time lucky! It helps a lot when the iPhone can settle on a likely location. TFTC Xambo4U

16-Jun-18
I have a severe dislike of rock caches, but I was happy to locate this one and sign the log. tftc.

29-May-18
Previous logs and accurate coords had me finding this pretty quickly. Needed for the Double Calendar challenge so made a welcome detour on my way to Knox City.

09-May-18
I thought this was going to be a quick fing, but I definitely had rocks in my head. But which rocks? Those rocks? No, those rocks. Argh! Got there in the end. Thanks xambo4u.

28-Apr-18
Took us awhile to find this one as it’s our first time geocaching in awhile! Very satisfying find!!

24-Apr-18
Find number 6565 at 1:09:52 pm
I need 5 caches today to continue my journey to find 10 caches for every calendar day and then I go and book in my colonoscopy on the same day, sh&^%$#t... I know, I know, too much information Wink
Thankfully my lovely MuggleWifeDoes agreed to drive me around this afternoon so that I could continue my trek Smile
Been here before but got put off by a muggle, this time it was plain sailing and found exactly where I suspected it would be.
**Thanks for placing this cache xambo4u**
