Away for the June Long Weekend with TheWhiteDogGang. We based ourselves at Orroroo and travelled far and wide over 4 days. We managed 1,500 kms during our travels. We managed to find some really old caches, one from 2001, and even managed to get all 9 terrain ratings. Not bad for 2 old farts with no coordination. The weather was dry if not cold on occasions.A good way to spend 4 days.Clever hide.TFTC
A LWE away caching w Team WaldronToured the mid north and surroundsSome great caches foundFixed a few as wellTFTC
While staying in Jamestown we headed west towards Stone Hut and Telowie Gorge before visiting Wirrabara and then enjoying lunch in Laura.

My 2nd day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today I left from Applia and ended up in Iron Knob for the night. This cache would be find number 6 of 34 for the day and find Number 14 in total for this trip away.
Guess where to look as I approached. Nice one.

Out in another chilly day with rain ️ threatening. Ranging a bit further afield from Port Pirie with iluvtrekking exploring the surrounds. Loving these back country roads - our type of caching. Thanks crispy89
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
Having found one of these before, we knew what to do. Wombat1, you missed one! Off to get ice cream. TFTC.
Full time nomads exploring SA. We are now heading north to Darwin, but diverted to Quorn to see the Silo Light show. Unhooked the caravan and headed out to tackle a few caches before returning in time to pack our picnic for the show.

Quick stop off and grab on the way out of Wirrabara, enjoying the morning with LynSteNet and Animal62, TFTC!
Clever hide, i like it. I didn't like the extra 457379657 litres of water on the grass that my shoes soaked up [B)] after the rain.
Dang! Who cares about my old shoes... the rain is waaaaay more important. Follow up rains is the boon for the crops already looking very healthy [^]

Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.

Found this a few weeks back but some how manage to miss log it. It was a quick roadsidw find from menory.
Nice solo caching day.
Found some great caches, good containers, superb views, workouts, climbs, drivebys, old caches...
and a few mint tins too!
Kept going into the night and early next morning too.
And this is why the NBN is so sketchy...

Accurate coordinates and the cache name led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks chrispy89 for the cache.
8602 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1440. Time for a wander towards the south for a look see. Several caches found and unless mentioned are in good order and condition. Left TB .SL Tnx chrispy89
So after a great weekend of fun, frivolity and food in Quorn we packed up camp and headed back home to Adelaide. We took the scenic route and found 33 caches on our way plus adding 5 new dnfs to our tally.
It was quite overcast but we didn't get wet so that was a bonus. It was nice to see some of these small country towns although we were quite underwhelmed by the Golden North factory at Laura we had been expecting something much grander and a nice ice cream cafe! We had a nice packed lunch at Wirrabra and finally arrived home at 6pm in time to cook a roast supper.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Quorn another part of the state we would like to explore further.
Nice hide here. Always good to find something other than a mint tin and good for a cache to be hidden in plain sight, only a cacher will know. TFTC chripsy89

While camping at nearby Ippinitchie campground we drove in to grab a few local caches. GeoAJ made a quick find here. TFTC
Out for another day of caching while waiting on van repairs. Whatever would we do without caching. It's been many a year since we last visited this area and a few new caches about. Had a smile at this one as we have an identical one of our own at home. Great minds think alike and are deserving of fav point. Tftc
Really should have found this during the 2016 event, but better late than never I suppose.
We got confused and nearly got caught by muggles but found it in the end. Good job hiding It!
On the road for work and decided to add a few caches to the GPS to break up the long days.
I don't understand why but the GPS sent me around the twist.. When I actually looked up... I worked it out.
Thanks for the cache Chrispy89

I wonder if I should make a quick call before finding the No one knows where I am. TFTC
Always love the hides you can walk straight up to. No fibres seen.
Thanks to chrispy89 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
39/55 for today - my best day so far. Day 6 of an 8 Day road trip through SA.
Whyalla to Iron Knob through to Renmark. Stopping whenever I felt like it, wherever I felt like it, if there was a cache nearby anyway.
I drove past a lot but didn't have time to get them all!
I was sure there would be snakes here! Maybe there was but I didn't see any.
A quick find of the cache, all good here. Signed and replaced.
Thanks

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

We made this trip up north to pick up some of the caches we keep driving past as we head to/from the outback .
Spotted the hide quickly and given the location, took a chance and found the cache [8].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Chrispy89.

Apologies for the late log ... life interrupted my logging. I hate it when that happens!
Mrs Gizmo escaped for a two day caching trip to Port Augusta with Dr Owl and CPwanderer.
Day 2 had us making a few finds before breakfast and a few more before lunch. Then we made our way home, caching along the way.
It was still raining so this was a wet find. Nice sized container after many mint tin finds during our trip.

CPWanderer, Gizmo's Gang and Owl were heading home after an excellent adventure, but not before a few more caches. This one was a soggy find (it was still drizzling), but a welcome change from too many mint tins in the bush over the trip.
