We are out for a drive and lunch at Cooks corner, one of our favourites, nice to find a cache as we. So TFTC
Never thought to ever be walking near here but after the Puffing Billy race was postponed, we were.
I love getting caches early in the morning on weekends when the muggles are sleeping. So much easier to grab. My GPS was settling so unnecessarily went under before I realised I didnt have to. Soon had the logbook in hand.
I couldn't find it the first time, very happy to locate it this time. Loved the pictures and learning about the area. Thank you.
Out today with my good mate AdamWickenton in the Tecoma/Belgrave area to tackle some caches on a warm spring day. After making our way to GZ and pondering any possibilities of where the cache would be, the penny quickly dropped and the cache was swiftly found. Tftc HeliKelli
Had some lunch across the street, went for a nice walk, and found this cache on the way to trying some rum at the distillery. Cool looking container, and in good condition.
Find number 11536 at 2:33:57 pm on Sunday the 26 March 2023
After spending a day and a half chasing walkers around doing support for the Oxfam trailwalker charity thingo it's time to grab a cache or two on the way home before a well earned sleep.
Wandered across the road for a quick find
**Thanks for placing this cache HeliKelli**

The gps just could not make its mind up, eventually I went with a logical spot avoiding the Blackberries as I made the retrieval.
Thanks HeliKelli for the cache.
Thanks HeliKelli for the cache.
Well we couldn’t find it the first time, so bright there for kids with me to search this time. Took an embarrassingly long time to find, but we were finally successful. Nice.
TFTC - In the area and assisting with some cache maintenance with HeliKelli. Although I had to find it first.
Out completing some cache maintenance with kploz in tow………making him find them first.
Cache is in good condition with space left in the logbook. Happy hunting.

Traffic backed up out of Belgrave past here, so we didn’t spend too much time, but we couldn’t find it this time unfortunately
I think that this is the 4th time that I have been here and didn't realise that I had never logged it. Not sure if my name was in the log so it certainly is now. Love this series. Thanks for the cache and the nostalgia.
I was out this way today on a bus driving job. After dropping the group, I headed out on the MTB for some nearby caches.
The trip up to GZ was a welcome relief after the incredibly steep roads around my previous finds.
This certainly has been a popular area to visit for such a long time.
A neat container cleverly attached. I do appreciate a good hand made cache.

I was having too much fun tonight that I almost missed getting a cache of the day! After going for a walk nearby in the warm autumn rain I made it home only for my family to ask if I found a cache, oops! I checked the path I walked and realised I had passed two caches on the track, silly me!
Back out again and this time I decided to go for this one as it was well and truly dark and the rain was continuing to drizzle. In the light of my torch I found this great cache and the cool photos of the area! I even had live music as the soundtrack for my search from the tavern across the road which was fun.
Thanks for the cache!

Found with katdogg. Took a while to find this one as GPS signal was bouncing around. Also a friendly muggle spotted us from ages away, thought we'd lost something and offered to help so slowed us down. Cheers for the cache
Sweet find with dalrot. Friendly muggle stopped to help us look for whatever we’d lost great pics!!! TFTC
Good hide, went with logic not where my phone said. Lucky hubbie was with me a lid screwed on too tight for me to open. A bit of sunshine too after rain so good little walk
Great weather and a free Sunday so decided to go caching with some geo friends out East.
A good hide in a cool spot. Had to “tie my shoelaces” while awaiting a muggle to pass so I could return the cache.
Thanks Mark&Kelly for the cache.

Find #599 and such an awesome geocache. Loved searching and finding this, so clever and so well created and perfect spot for it. Thanks for bringing me here on this beautiful day !!!
I wandered down a very steep track in the direction of the boardwalk in my efforts to look for this one. I was not looking forward to the return walk. Having read a few logs that commended the accuracy of the co-ordinates, I started my search where the GPS was pointing. It didn't take too long to find, but then I dropped it. I was glad I had something in my bag that would enable me to retrieve it, but it still took a bit of time. I was glad no-one walked past me during this. Once I had the cache firmly in my grasp I was able to look at the pictures of yesteryear - very interesting. TFTC Mark&Kelly
This was not far from another cache that we found today. As we have enjoyed the others in this series that we have done, we weren't going to pass up the opportunity to do another. We hope that people see the photos provided in these caches. It is remarkable to see the changes that have taken place, or, in this instance, how similar the before and after photos actually are.
Once we trusted GZ, the cache was quickly located, the photos compared from then to now, log signed and the container returned to it's hide.
Thanks for another in this series. Looking forward to finding them all.

Great one! I had to hunt a fair bit as
Y gps never got closer than 9m, but I loved it.
Thanks

Found quickly by Steve while there was a break from the rain, and thank goodness too as we were wet from the last cache and calling it a day.
Thanks Mark&Kelly for another great cache in this series.
Thanks Mark&Kelly for another great cache in this series.
Wow! this is changed a little bit. I did have fun With this cache. I did put a lot of effort to make sure I put it back correctly . It would suck if I dropped it putting it back
Out and about with grandkids, chockchick, koolkid, and sheeplov. Parked close by and with a short walk we were on the boardwalk. Search for quite a while both sides then decided to PAF. It turned out to be geoson. Once the area was cleared on greenery we made the excellent easy find. Thanks for the cache Mark&Kelly. Cache in excellent condition.
Poked around for a good long while, together with Ultraterse but all we found were recently cut back blackberry bushes. Will have to come back once this has been found by someone again.
I've enjoyed gradually finding the Once Upon a Times as I come across them. This one has been on my radar for ages, but it was close enough to home I often went further away for hiking, though...
Slightly tricky to find here, but fortunately no pedestrians around. Eventually located and signed it. The area has certainly changed a little...
Thanks for the cache.

Well that's a much bigger cache than I assumed would be here! Well hidden and not that hard to even get despite the cars going past. Tnln Tftc!
Found after a caching day with day1976, I had looked for it previously twice but hadn't found it and then day1976 stopped after work and found it a couple of months ago. I kept meaning to get it but didn't, and today day dropped me there (dad lives close) and came to help me find it before going home.
Found after a quick search .. it never ceases to amaze me.. sometimes you just see it .. other times you search for ages.. thank you to Mark&Kelly .. really enjoying this series and looking forward to finding more
My friend spotted this one after a short search . Great Photos . Thanks Mark&Kelly
My dad (day1976) and I were coming back from home, and then we passed this one. We decided to check it out, even though my dad had come and tried 2 TIMES! So we were seaching. And we did more seaching. But then finally we decided to do more seaching. We eventually actually found the cache! After that, my dad said I was his lucky thing even though I didn't actually find it. Personally, I think it's a great cache!
Wooohooo geohubby found this one that we failed to find last time we were here. Christmas Day luck tftc
So many blackberries, so much pain and still no smiley reward! Will have to come back another time and try again!
Out for a drive, we stopped alongside the bikers. A quick walk soon had the very well hidden cache in hand. Loved the old photos. It is safe and sound, thanks Mark&Kelly
We managed to park nearby and walked up to GZ. GPS was bouncing around a bit but it didn't take long to spot the hide. It goes to show you can place a cache just about anywhere! Blackberry weeds have almost covered the cache and extraction without getting caught was tricky. Hopefully they die off soon. Thanks Mark&Kelly!
On my way to an appointment with my geodaughter and we thought we would try to find this one. We soon found it and were admiring the photos from yesteryear. Fantastic construction again, loving the series
Great cache took longer than should have going to monbulk for lunch and stopped by for a quick cache. Or not!
Accompanied with kangas11 for caching today.
Lovely forest and beautiful.
Weather was become more hot.
Found it
Thanks Mark&Kelly

Accompanied with crank1 for caching day. Nice and found. Good spot.. Thanks Mark&Kelly for the cache.
That took us far longer than it should have.
We knew the size and shape.... but where the hell could it be... eventually Mrs Riddell rebooked at the clue and thought hard about it. Not what she thought but in the position she hoped it would be in.
Devious hide... once again well done.

After having a look at a nearby art gallery I found another closeby cache then wandered up to this one. I was wondering if I'd have to get down and possibly dirty for this one but thankfully I spied something that looked exactly what I was looking for The log was signed and I read through the paperwork inside. I enjoyed this cache a lot, thank you for the history lesson and for bringing me here.
Out with SciFiRulz, finding our way around the area, looking for caches. Beautiful to say the least. Well done SciFiRulz, I was 19 meters away from the find. TFTC
Found with MazzyMay. This took a while to spot, with tree and cloud cover we were not getting a good fix on the position of GZ. After a lot of looking around I finally spotted the cache. TFTC
After a visit to the 1000 steps trail our reward was a pub lunch on the way back home. While we were waiting for our food to come out I checked the gps and as luck would have it there was a cache just on the other side of the road. So I excused myself briefly and headed over. After walking up and down the path a few times I happened to look in the right direction and spotted the clever hide, nice construction on the cache, looks like it will be safely there for a while. Thank for the hide Mark&Kelly.
With eighthknox for our final cache run of the year. We arrived here expecting this to be a quick find however we were mistaken, mainly due to us having the wrong idea of what we were looking for. We climbed over and under questioning the accuracy of the d/t rating but upon finding the cache we felt a little silly. TFTC
Nanton34 and I took longer than we expected to find this one..to the point where we were having to read recent logs. We were mislead to a degree by a few comments in the previous logs but it took just looking at the right place in the right angle had we had the cache in hand. Nice views of the Tavern at night from GZ - tftc
uscoe was enjoying a day out in the eastern side of Melbourne.
It was a delightful day, filtered sunshine, a mild breeze and some light drizzle at times.
We love heading up into the Dandenongs, beaut trees, treeferns and caches.
A lovely walk and stop to spot the cache.
Thanks to Mark&Kelly for this hide.

Found at 4:27 PM GAFF2.
Always find these "before and after" or I should say "now" type caches very interesting. Loved the photo of the car going up that little track which I presume is now Monbulk Rd - no 4wd then!
Struggled to find this cache for a while as the GPSr took me about 8 metres past the actual spot where the cache was located. I then couldn't work out how a small could be attached around there as the terrain rating was just 1.5. Eventually from a very unorthodox vantage point, I spotted the nicely set up cache [^]
Thanks Mark&Kelly.

A very quick grab and rehide as there were muggles about, I wasn't spotted.. Tftc
Out with geobrother andy707 as I finally got him out the door for some caches. So we quickly came for a drive tinged a few caches TFTC.
We found this cache today at 3:30pm as number 6 of 6 on our Dandenongs Maintenance Run and Caching Tour. Found this one between maintaining two of our own caches not too far each side of this one.We ate at the tavern about a year ago and now we have a chance to do a cache across the road. Thanks from D & A B-A.
A quick find after the compass settled. Another great cache container and execution. Favorite from me.

*14/10/16, Found @ 8:06 pm Find # 5804.*
It has been a while since I had been out with biggles1024, but tonight we headed out with the main prize being a night cache, we also found a few others a long the way.
I had found a few of these Once Upon A Time caches now, so when this one was spotted on the map and as we were going by, we had to stop for a look.
It was only a short walk to GZ, once there it wasn't long before the cache was found and the log was signed.
I was now time to check out the photo of the past, it's always interesting seeing these old photos of an area to see how much things have changed.
**Thanks to Mark&Kelly for placing this cache.**
