The Road Less traveled weekend two around Oberon. Day 4. After a cold night a Macquarie woods, I headed into Orange for a quick look round before heading home via Cowra. This was first as I left and was a nice quick stop.
Thanks.

Quick easy find today on my way out of the woods. No fluffy white stuff here. Wish I'd stopped here on my way in - I would have noticed if there was any in the other places I visit while here. At least now I know all about the large pine scale insects. Thanks.
Out for a run in the car with Just a cacher.
Thanks for the cache, Pest Watch!

Quickly located but log took some extracting, tool came in handy. All good replaced just after a Winnebago pulled through.
Heading back from Lucknow and thought why not stop and have a hunt. Didn't take long and we were signing the log.

No white fluffy things in evidence today. After doing the TRLT (or part of). Heading back to Orange. Here from Portland Oregon visiting friends for the holidays. Doing part of the TRLT trail. Found with drobbonz and kiwisteve2. This makes 300 days in a row of caching. Tftc
Visiting again after 12 months, this is one of our favourite spots between the Sunshine Coast and Melbourne. Quickly grabbed the cache and inspected the tree. There is sap bleeding from several small spots on the trunk but no fluffy white critters spotted by our untrained eyes. Thanks for the awareness programme and thanks for the cache Pest Watch.
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
The cache name suggested where this cache might be located and there was no problem finding it. All was done as required, but had to wait just a little before replacing it, due to there being passing driving muggles. This done we then moved on to continue the hunt. Thank you to Pest Watch for placing this cache.
With some unfinished biz from yesterday cause of the road worx at the rocks , it was playing on my mind so onto my trusty TS200 dirt bike i bolted my gopro thingy and my ram mount for the 64st , loaded the GPS an off i went
83.7KM trek lay in front of me
the first cache was Rocks Creek and i was so glad i was on my dirt bike as i rode single trail almost to GZ, an that was cool as the gopro footage is pretty cool as well
All 8 caches on my back road trek are in good order and easy to find, other than the Rocks Creek cache which is 22mts coords WRONG , but the hint and an extended search of said things will have the cache in hand
many thanx to all the cache placers, bring on more please as i seem to have my caching mojo back [:o)]

Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
Another bit of a drive for us to this one but a quick find at GZ [^]
Thanks for the hide, Pest Watch

11259. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
The next cache on the list as we continued our drive around the outskirts of Orange. Enjoyed the country roads ! We drove into this reserve and stopped for this one. Quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache returned and we were off to the next one.
Thanks Pest Watch !!

A weekend trip up through this area with SpecimenX, AngelG27 and fitzy_1965 to grab a few caches up around these parts. Covered a bit of ground and found a great range of caches. Always good to get away on a group caching run.
Thanks for this one Pest Watch.....

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
66th for the day at 1705 (71st for the trip). another longish drive to this reserve from Dungeon. we had a couple of caches to think about collecting here, but only found two in the end. A fast find this time - all good! Thanks Pest Watch

We were expecting a wet cache and were pleasantly surprised to find it nice and dry. Not a sign of a pest. TFTC
No scales - just mud and water everywhere. The cache is dry though, so wet feet don't matter. TFTC
[FTF]. Nicely hidden in a great area. Thanks for the information and for placing. Tftc
