TftcDecided to head up here instead of Dorrigo this afternoon. Found this one snuggly in its location. I almost missed it until I broadened my search. Cache #6 - 8
After finding some caches along a dirt road, we were headed into town to hopefully find some amenities and maybe some snacks to go with the wine later tonight. Thank goodness the busiest Woolworths on the planet popped up and we fought the good fight trying to find a car park. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
I noticed this one had a few DNFS so checked on it and it was gone. I have now replaced it.Good luck and happy caching
Day 6 of a short trip up North with Robmc. A day spent around Woolgoolga and Emerald Beach as we had some work done on our Camper. Only a few finds and a couple of DNF's, plus some AdLab waypoints.
Unfortunately, no luck with this one today despite a good search by both of us.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Headed of from Coffs towards Grafton picking some of the nearby series. This was an extra that was found along the way. Arrived home tonight to discover a few ticks had enjoyed a free journey.[:(!]
This was found after a short search, with some previous logs assisting. Log was a bit wet.
Thanks Mystery Sleuth for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

We ended up doing these two caches in reverse order as we couldn't find parking on the way up.
After we turned around we found nice easy parking right next to GZ which turned this cache into a park and grab with extra steps.
Thanks for the Cache!

Didn’t have a scrap of paper small enough to replace this one so we took a photo see attached. Log in need of replacement. TNLN TFTC
We came along to look for this cache with ilook4geo. We had no trouble finding it, but sadly the log could not be signed as the paper was swimming inside the container. A new log is needed please. Thank you to Mystery Sleuth for placing this cache.
On our drive today from Nambucca heads to Brisbane, we took a detour and a break in this area.
We found this one very quickly with its cute camouflage, but note that the log is extremely wet and there was water inside. We dried it out as best we could and have added our name.
Thanks Mystery Sleuth

After completing the mushroom trail, we had a little bit of spare time to find a few more caches, no problems spotting the container, however, the log has seen better days.

Easy find.
Log is soaked
Met a local resident, very curious as to what we where up to
Was telling us how the bridge was called a pole covid. Because 40 years ago there use to be just poles in the gully.
The bridge being built about 30 years ago

Last half day in Woolgoolga. A few caches and a couple of AdLabs to keep me going, until the camper is ready, and I head south once more.
Now I knew what the hides were, this was a quick find too.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found 31/1/2021 with JessYoung96.
Easy find and after a little bit of searching we found it (clever little geocache container by the way).
Other than dogs barking we had no issues with any muggles living nearby.
Log was a bit damp but still semi-signable.

Bit trickier this time but once we looked around the bend it was in hand. Tftc
After searching for about 5 minutes, the jumping jacks scared us back to the car, with the hebee jeebies...
Found it after some searching. My sister was bitten by a jumping jack! So be careful. Nearly sprung by a muggle but slipped away just in time.
This is a busy little road. Had to contort my body to get it while cars weren’t wizzing by
Staying in Grafton with daughter again and needed some relief from the rain. Decided to come down this way to pick up some new smileys and convert some sad faces. Nice haul for a few hours work. Stopped for lunch at the RSL and on the way home stopped and grabbed Huey.

Dug around in the wrong spot for a while then spotted the correct spot. The kangaroo in the paddock thought it was all very interesting amd watched me til i was done.
After attending the event in Coffs the afternoon before we are spending the day caching both in and around the area as well as a bit further north. Found an interesting variety of caches and did have just a few DNFs. Thanks to all the COs for enhancing our visit to the area.
A few of the crew got a bit competitive on this one, but the log eventually got signed with all our names on it.tftc
Gabstar and Mr AWTYOW raced ahead and Gabstar went for the quick grab and the find. TFTC
last for the day and I could almost reach this one out the window, not quite but another nice quick find. TFTC
Yeah!!! This one was a beetle and we're Beetles2.
Had to dig very deep to find this one but then it has been a long time without a find.
We drained the water out of the container, used the tweezers to extract the sodden log, dried out the tiny inner container as best we could and then put a new sheet of paper in there.
Thanks. A well covered container that required us to delve deeper than we probably should have had to.

The local pest controller went past us again at this cache sure he thought we were crazy TFTC quick find
When I drove past GZ the first time,
a dog was sitting in the driver's seat of a ute parked at GZ [:o]
It wasn't reading the newspaper or drinking coffee !!
And this was not a good spot to bark at passing traffic on the quiet road [:o]
So I kept going up the road a bit to find some other caches in the series.
On return a while later,
the dog had grown bored,
and driven off to find a better parking spot
A quick cache find soon followed
