Beautiful walk along the cliffs, we took 1,5 hours one way but walked pretty fast. Didn't find the Cache unfortunately, is it maybe overgrown? Would love to know if someone else finds it in the future.
I rescued a duck today After spending over two years in the cache without being found, I found it today and took the travel bug to eventually continue the journey.
It's a great walk to come here! We left 3 hours before low tide and arrived at red island at low tide. A lot of rock hopping, found some nice shells, had a swim and a great overall 5 1/2 hours walk.

just even daylight and time to find the cache and turn around and walk back would have loved to stay here longer loved all the rocks great day out caching
We made this one a bit more of a challenge as not only did we have the tide to contend with but also the daylight. The trek there is far more rock hopping then beach walk so be prepared for that even if like us you plan the tides to perfection. We didn't see any seals today but goats were a plenty. The cache alluded us for the first few minutes but using the clue had us soon signing the log and setting off for the trip back the way we came. TFTC TNLNSL.
Wow, what an adventure out here. Little lion like seals along the way gave us a fright but when we arrived at Red Island some huge seals were very close to the cache. Lucky for us they didn't seemed bothers by us and just swam off into the sea after a while. When we went to leave it was like they were waving us goodbye with their flippers in the air. On the way to red island we lost a cell phone, fell on some rocks, got wet by waves we didn't expect and scared a naked sun bather- all in a great adventure. Really glad we ventured out here. Anyone coming the co ordinates a spot on and right next to the cache is a perfect spot to stop and have a bite to eat. Thanks so much for adding to our memories [FTF]
I have added a photo of the exact cache location.. hopefully this will help prevent further DNFs.
Too many rocks. Not easy to find it for me. But the walk worth it and sea lions or what at the cache place for photos. Great.
