We are out caching today to find an N for June challenge cache. We have found that. Now to see if we can find puzzle caches that we have solved and convert blue to yellow, hopefully.Solved this a long time ago.we eventually had the cache in hand. There was no log so Ive put 1 in. It looks like this has been flooded in the past.TFTC
Found buried deep. The log book has been completely eaten by something. Enjoyed the puzzle. TFTC
Solved this one a while ago so finally was in the correct location. Read the hint and worked out was that was referring to. But ahhh...the mozzies!
The log was wet but tried to sign it as best I could.

Got to GZ and was literally swarmed with mozzies, actual clouds that were extremely viscious so we ran away
A great puzzle that we adored (of this type more broadly also) and then a lovely tranquil spot at GZ. A few laps required for the find but got there in the end. Log book is very wet and falling apart at the binding but still able to be signed, just (photo of our chicken scratchings in said logbook attached). TFTMC nonetheless.

Log still too wet to sign, thanks for the puzzle. There is a cache guardian so take care.
Heading to Noosa north-shore I stopped here for a find on this solved puzzle.
Thank you WallabyWanderers for hiding and maintaining this geocache for the community.

I original looked for this cache over a year ago with no success, I came back to redeem myself and finally found it. Unfortunately the logbook is badly water damaged.
Thoroughly enjoyed completing the sudoku!!! I love the them! Really nice and easy find, which was lucky as I begged my muggle husband to pull over on the way to the barge.
The log book is really wet and unable to sign. Will need replacing. Tftc.

I thought I would give this puzzle a go and the coordinates came out nicely. We went for an early drive up to GZ where the cache was found with the helpful hint. Log signed and the cache was replaced as found. All good with this one. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache WallabyWanderers.
I had the pleasure to join Chamad, Willis007 and E_Smiley for a full days expedition on the stunning Sunny Coast. The morning started off with a quick paddle on Lake MacDonald than slowly but surely we made our way towards Noosa than south down the coast. The goal for the day was to grab any Q1000 caches we could and a bunch of other caches in the region that would go towards several challenges we're working on.
What a fabulous day with great company, I guess you can't complain about the weather either, it was a perfect day to be outdoors. We had a blast!
Thank you for the cache and thank you for giving us a reason to stop by today.

A plan was put together for a day of Sunshine Coast caches, our crew of E_Smiley, Nayfee and Captain chamad set out for a paddle in Lake McDonald then some land based caches across to Noosa and south towards Coolum.
We collected a great selection of caches and enjoyed a stunning warm Queensland day.
Thank you to the cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain these caches for us to enjoy.

Day 2 of our weekend geocaching adventure with RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan and GrannySmith 1947 (and millie dog) and after kayaking along Cooloothin and Cooroibah Creeks, we have continued searching for a few targetted caches while on the Sunshine Coast.
Luckily this puzzle wasn't too difficult for me and we also made a quick find.
(remember the Shell museum quite well because when we were courting we often came up to the Sunshine Coast and visit this place on our way to the beach. Isn't love grand!)

After a morning of paddling a few of us continued on and did a few more caches in the area, this was one of those.
I found this cache very quickly, I solved the puzzle a few months in preparation for a day of when I was passing.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache placement, all good with this one.

Found this one quickly together with E-Smiley when getting ready for the next kayaking adventure.

Got an invitation from georode to kayak and hike and pick a puzzle or two that can fill our d/t grid completion. He spotted a launch area near the gz of this cache, maybe we'll give it a go seeing we've already solved the puzzle and we still have the kayak.
Quick easy find by georode again.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here WallabyWanderers and AtTheLakeHouse.

Visiting from the Gold Coast and met up with northern geo friends to tackle a few local caches today. Hatzofff did the hard yards with the puzzle solving as these are her favourites. The hide was good and easy enough to spot, well done CO's.

Today we headed up to Noosaville for a bunch of T5 caches.
But first, to finish off a puzzle Mrs RoddyC enjoyed doing.

Looked every and checked previous logs was I the right location just couldnt find
Was hoping to add this to my haul before leaving Noosa, this morning but I found nothing that I was comfortable grabbing.
At Kilkivan new year event I was talking to Selva Girls about D/T grids and I needed 7 more for my 2nd loop. And she told me she had one to get for loop 3. And the she wanted to get was Kayaking one and she didn’t have access to one. I laugh because I had access to a couple of kayak. But it did take 6 weeks to organise time to go.
I had Selva Girls and Grannysmith1947 come for the day kayaking tree climbing and couple of bush walks. We all had a good day.
The count for me was 6 mystery and 5 traditional
We were park not far from GZ so after the paddle. It was found and signed.
Sorry for generic log

After handling some muddy caches earlier in the day we drove into Tewantin to wash our hands. While I waited for Mrs Woodyrothwell to scrape the mud from under her nails I pulled out the phone to see if there were any caches close by and a cunning plan was hatched to visit this one.
When we closed in it looked like we could be here for a while. My wife had just washed her hands so she wasn’t ready to dig amongst any leaves so I knew it was up to me to get some filth on. In the first pile I dug in I felt something slimy and knew it couldn’t be good.
I then had that “ick” feeling when I knew I had brushed up against a large slug. You know that some dry-reaching could be around the corner so I braced myself before I looked at it. I’ve stood next to some old timers at the RSL urinal so I know they aren’t visually appealing either. If the cache was in there I was ready to leave it.
Thankfully I heard my wife call out that her stick had hit something but she wasn’t going to touch it so thankfully it was the cache. Future finders may want to pat the slug first and then look elsewhere. tftc

Very quick and easy find. On our whirl wind trip in QLD. We are here for our daughter to compete in a national dance Hip Hop comp in the gold coast. So we are quickly visiting my parents in Tewantin . Really loved working out this puzzle and the find was reasonably easy. TFTC
After failing to pick this one last November due to mozzie infestation we returned with success today!! Whoohoo always good to grab a previous dnf!! Tftc
Another puzzle that I had solved not too long ago. I parked the geeomobile and ecchocage1 and I headed over to GZ. There, we searched for a while before I finally located the cache. We added our names tot he log, returned the cache to its spot, then continued on our way. TFTC
I like these sort of sudokus and had solved this one and another sudoku a couple of years ago while enjoying a Sunday brunch at a cafe in Kin Kin. The finding of it has not been so easy though. I've visited here twice before in an attempt to locate it but was spooked out both times because there are a lot of rustlings in here at night. I will admit that most of them are probably the prolific number of cane toads that inhabit this area but when one is on her own in a dark park, then one does get addled as the imagination goes into freefall until one gets the right ol' heebie jeebies and she does a bolt for the car, whether she has found the cache or not. And both previous times it was not found.
Today I visited with Selvagirls in daylight and we hunted around. My GPS had me between the two possibilities so I searched one and Selvagirls searched the other and it wasn't me that sung out the magic words " Found it". Great work Selvagirls! I swear I had poked in there on a previous visit without luck, just shows what a difference there is between a clear head and an addled one. Cache dry and well and I'm happy to have a smiley here, though it is thanks to Selvagirls.

Out on a showery morning with goingplaces2 and finding some fun caches, but the day did fine up later. This was one of the caches we found and we are happy to add another smiley to the map. It was a fun puzzle and a good one to find. TFTC.
The day started out wet and we only picked up a couple of caches to represent the district. We were going to look for a couple more, but were muggled out by workers.
The cache here was an easy find, as working out the puzzle gave a tick on the first try and the co-ords were good. Some prodding helped to make the find and the log soon had two more lots of initials on it. Thank you to Wallaby Tim KaleidoscopeCass for for an easy puzzle and a straight forward find.

On our way to the airport after spending a great couple of days in Noosa. Came through Tewantin so that I could log a multy in QLD. With a bit more time up our sleeve I suggested just one more from my solved list
Still drizzling when I arrived at GZ. Was trying to avoid getting my hands dirty but wasn’t successful and found on second loop

What a fantastic cache! Loved the puzzle, I nutted it out for ages and totally enjoyed the challenge. Stopped in at the big shell and was served by the loveliest man with a wicked sense of humour. And great with kids! At GZ there were several options to explore. I ended up looking at the pics as the mozzies were swarming and i needed the hint. Perfect. Check out the biggest fig tree for its awesome. You’d be forgiven for feeling like you’d dropped into the Jungle Book with all the tropical plants growing within the roots .
Solved this a while ago. Here for a conference for the weekend. Pottering around collecting some local caches. Lots of great walkways and cycle paths. Lovely little park here. Found the cache and left a trackable. TFTC
Enjoyed the shelldoku. Search GZ on a damp day with many mozzies to keep us company. After a good search we got lucky! TFTC.

I was staying up at the Sunshine Coast over the weekend as my wife has a work conference to attend at Noosa. I originally had intended to spend the morning hunting caches by kayak but a late change of plans on Friday meant I would be heading out to find caches on foot instead.
With some solved coordinates on my database I was able to head directly to GZ where a couple of magpies kept me company while they were prowling around on the grass on the hunt for lunch. My GPS was pointing to a few different options at different stages but a systematic search of each one eventually turned up the hide. Dropped of a trackable for the next visitors. TFTC

Thanks for the puzzle. not too bad compared to some other sudoku. quickly located once at GZ. We took TB
With a bit of spare time this afternoon, I headed out from our holiday home to grab a couple of caches. I passed the Big Shell on the way here and saw that it’s for sale.
There were some muggles nearby when I arrived at GZ so I sat on the grass and relaxed and waited for them to leave. Thankfully they soon did and I began to search. But more muggles turned up in the same spot. It must be a nice view. This lot were sitting on the seat with their backs to me so I searched regardless and soon found the cache. I left a trackable.
Thanks for the cache WallabyTim. This was find #3864. Please discover my trackable: MMGJ6B.

Heading to Noosa and decided to grab a few caches on my way. After grabbing another at Moosa library I headed for this one which I'd had sitting in my solved pile for a while.
After parking nearby it was a short stroll to GZ and the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Taking the scenic route to Fraser Island up Tewantin Beach meant we could stop for a few extra caches. LadySim and I enjoyed the drive past the shell, something I haven't seen in years.
No problems with the puzzles, and the coordinates are good. The cache container is all good too. Left a pathtag. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

I am heading to Fraser Island for a week of R & R with Swellerfungus and this cache is on his list to do on our way. Swellerfungus is the puzzle solver and I have tagged along for the ride. That certainly is a very big Shell . I love the park and all it’s trees with wonderful root systems on display. Cache found, log signed. Thanks for this hide.
Here visiting from Cairns for a few days and staying just down the road from this hide. Loved the puzzle and a great hide. Tftc
We were out for a drive with the family and noticed there was a solved puzzle nearby. Better try find it then. But with no phone data the hint was of no use and we didn't want to scratch around in the tree to much for fear of uncovering things that might bite. As it was the mozzies were soon biting and had us retreating quickly back to the car. Oh well never mind at least we saw the big Shell-doku.
I was telling the CO earlier in the day that I hate Sodoku and its in my retirement plan. But...I signed the cache while in the vicinity when I went to find Traditional. Grumble grumble grumble...
Damn, puzzle solved and conscious is clear.
Thanks KaleidoscopeCass...WallabyTim too I guess.

I had some fun solving this one, although I did get a bit confused, and found it easiest to do it in two parts. The numbers felt out easily after that. Today as we neared GZ, I found the co-ords put me on open grass in between a few possible hiding places, so we spent ages searching for it, and sure stirred up bazillions of ants In the end BC trawled through some past logs and located a photo, and shortly thereafter had the cache in hand. Had solved this just before crossing the ditch but didn't know if would have opportunity to find this. Great location, almost logged DNF. However tried to persevere another circuit. Trust GPS, trust gut, but it's the moving masses of creepie crawlies that put the fear of whatever into a Kiwi cacher. Anyway after one more radical radius search, Genina found it ! Took longer than should've. Thanks for great puzzle and cache. Greetings from Christchurch NZ.

Saturday. Well, it had to happen - our 8 months of summer arrived today, so what would any sane person do when it is seven degrees above average? Go caching at the coast. [8)]
Having some Sunny Coast solved puzzles to pick up, this was the day for it. This was first on our list - as it happens, GZ was just around the corner from Mr Puncture's brother's place. Afterwards, we dropped in but no-one was home. Anyway, back at GZ, we soon spotted the likely place (or places) where the cache may be.
We looked and looked, at one point, Mr SP gave up the search as he was being carried away by mozzies despite having a liberal coating of Bushmans. After a few laps, we found it well hidden where we had previously looked.
This was the 1st of 7 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***WallabyTim***, for showing us this place.

Thanks ***WallabyTim***, for showing us this place.
Took our lunch, sat under the tree, fought off a few mozzies and found this one. Thanks WallabyTim
Geowife solved this puzzle a while ago but we hadn't been in the area until today. My heart sank as soon as I saw GZ - surely not another one, I hate these things and then we also had to contend with hundreds of mozzies trying to eat us alive!! After quite some considerable time and numerous laps, I thought to myself 'just one more go' and luckily I found it. TFTC WallabyTim
I had solved the sudoku the other night. My day started with deja vu revisiting a re-incarnated cache that I had found the original version. The day ended with deja vu here too. Not exactly the same location, but I have found two other caches in this park.
I used to live just round the corner. The hound loved to come down here and play in the water.
The puzzle was not too hard, but I did spend some time at GZ. The GPSr indicated a spot and I had a hunt around without luck. There was another suitable option nearby, so I checked it out too. Nothing found there either.
Read the hint and changed my view point to reflect the new info. Not too hard to find then.

Was just about to give up before checking the roots one last time. Booyah 2TF!!!
I had this puzzled solved not all that long after it was released but was not able to search for it until yesterday. I was unsuccessful yesterday as I did not feel comfortable searching whilst there we people nearby at the park tables.
I gave the cache a miss yesterday and today decided to go back later in the evening and hopefully no one would be around.
We were in luck. Searched a bit more thoroughly this time and finally found it. A very nice hide.
All is good with this cache.
Took TB that was left by Makenasmum.
Find #593.

I remember the CO talking about a puzzle recently and I offered to help thinking it was another boat one. Then I was told it was a land one.
I saw it come up this morning and soon I had some coordinates that the checker liked.
Geopartner offered to drive me up to Tewantin and we headed off.
Arrived at GZ and started to hunt for the cache.
Around and around we went. Up and down.
Went back to the geomobile and checked the checker again to see if I missed anything.
All good. Back I go. It must be here.
One more circle and then I spotted it.
Signed the log @ 11.30 am *FTF*
